My Favorite game!!!
This is my go to game to play on the subway. No WiFi needed and it plays great.
Poor Design
So frustrating when you are playing against the computer and the majority of time when you go nil the partner extremely obviously ruins it for you. Example, I will lead off with an 8 of clubs and it plays a 5 with the other two also play low or another suit. Next hand the partner will have the ace of clubs.
My bot teammate makes horrible decisions
We are going for 7 books, we have 6. He gives his queen of spades AFTER the other team plays the king of spades. Then we 1 play left. My s teammate gives a 2 of spades. We lose. Why on earth would they play like this. This isn’t the first time. It also loves to take bags
Unable to read tips
The tips flash across the bottom of the screen so fast that I am unable to read them! It’s real annoying. Other than that, I have thoroughly enjoyed playing Spades on Apple Arcade.
Not bad
It’s not bad but the amount of times my partner has set us is wild. I just watched them throw a lower spade and lose a book only throw the q of spades last!

Good until it isn’t
This game has been great… the AI partner was excellent until the Grand Master level… it will no longer cover you on nil bids when it had a higher card it plays later, and constantly over bids as if trying to throw the game. Went from a great game to a terrible game. Also seems to be the cards are no longer random…??? Please fix!!!!

Need more options!
It would be nice to see what my partner is going to bid before I commit to my bid. Also, it would be helpful to be able to go back and review the last hand played. It would be nice to replay a hand too if requested.
Too many bells & whistles
I just want to play the game. I wish there was a way to turn off season and goal stuff.
Exceptional Playing and Training
It’s been so long since I’ve had a spades card hit well like that of this app. There are ways to stay motivated in the game without getting bored. The shuffle graphics, bidding and game play is smooth and simple. The sound effects are pleasant.
Unrealistic game play
In a real word game, you follow basic rules. This game does not follow those rules. It needs a massive update.
Decent game
The program runs smoothly but after a while one figures the strategy it becomes predictable and boring. The little one liners get to be too much noise too.
Fun but the AI partner SUCKS
The basic gameplay is great, and the graphics are good and is generally a lot of fun. But I cannot give this anything better than a two star review because no matter how well you play, your partner in the game is terrible. They’re constantly bidding higher than they can handle, which is especially frustrating when you work hard to win a Nil bid, and lose half your points because the moron AI is making bids they can’t achieve. Not to mention how bad their strategy is against opponents. Really sucks to keep losing games just because your “partner” doesn’t know how to play.
Not sure why you changed the logic
I used to be able to count on my partner making good decisions. A few months ago, you changed the logic the bots use when playing. I just finished a game where we bid 7 and the opponent bid 6. Why did my partner trump a hand I’d already won instead of using that ace of spades to win the next trick so that our opponents would miss their bid when we didn’t have any sandbags? What’s worse are the times my partner has trumped a trick I’ve already won and then we miss our bid. I thought we were partners

Higher Levels
Game becomes junk at higher levels. Uses partners that can’t bid a hand or deals you totally unrealistic hands.

No End Game
What is the end game? What do the different levels mean (there is no guide), you just go on and on with really no understandable goal reached. Playing with ppl better than automated but slower. I love the 150 option for quicker games.
Algorithms messed up?
I just spent two days playing 27 games with an average bid of 2 for 19 games. Also, when the opponent to my left had a NIL bid and threw out a card higher than mine and the other opponent, my partner threw out even higher cards even though he had lower cards! This has happened many times. I enjoy the game, albeit frustratingly at times. WISH LIST: provide an option in the Multiplayer mode for games that last longer than 150 or whatever it is!

Worst Spades Game Ever!
Game is fun for 10 minutes tops. AI is bad. The only way the game gets harder is giving you an AI partner that intentionally throws the game. Between your partner bidding nil with the ace of spades to bidding 5 or 6 and only realistically able to get 2-3 tricks the game is a complete waste of time.
First Round
Great game but after a 40 game test getting set the first round is almost 75% going to happen. No matter what I do the partner or the competition algorithm is fixed.
Too bad
I pay for Arcade so I thought there would be no ads. This game now has ads. It’s sad. I might quit paying for Arcade.
Decent app for spades overall
Only complaint is fixing users that purposely under-bid. Simple fix would be to count bags in multiplayer!

Computer teammate is trash
Computer play is trash. Literally can win games with a computer teammate and the computer choose to make moves that clearly are intended to make you loose. DELETE THIS APP!!!!
Fun but Flawed
It’s a good time killer, but the AI ruins it. As other reviewers have noted, your computer partner frequently makes nonsensical moves. They bid poorly (for example, always too high when you go nil), cut you unnecessarily, throw away books they could’ve made, etc. It makes the game so frustrating. But I still like it overall.
Bots cheat
Despite what the developers say, it’s obvious from the way the bots play that they are like 1 player playing 2 hands rather than 2 separate players that don’t know what their partner has. I have played this game in the past and thought maybe after so much negative feedback that the developers might have changed the AI, but it still feels the same, with the same cheating AI

The game is rigged.
Was fun, but is clearly now cheating. The bot player you are partnered with gets increasingly stupid as you level and eventually starts sabotaging you by overbidding or playing suboptimally so you take tricks if you call nil. The other team also gets stacked hands. There should be no reason in a 52 card deck that I am able to call nil four times in a row because I have zero or one without the deck being manipulated. It’s sad because I love this game, but the developer need to do better training the AI and with the difficulty design.
Great game but it cheat
I love playing that game and I have been playing it for a long time. It is became evident that the bot are cheating. This is somewhat frustrating.
The final level of this game is RIDICULOUS and/or BROKEN
This game is fine until you reach the Grand Master/Ultimate Tier and you reach a top 3 ranking. For starters, your partner plays as if this is their first time playing spades and makes some absolutely boneheaded moves. Then when you start gaining on the #2 ranked player, it makes you face them a few times in a row and gives them an unusually high amount of nil hands or hands with higher than normal values. One might be able to overlook the first two things but the absolute worse thing is that the players around you who you’ve passed in the rankings magically gain 20-80 points over night pretty much every night. This is like the fifth day in a row where I find myself ranked below players I was comfortably ahead before I went to sleep not even 8 hours ago. I’ve had it with this game and won’t be playing it anymore. This is just ridiculous.

This is an awesome game with humans and a monthly three humans against ai except the ai goes on the opposing team. That monthly you earn rewards and I wish the rewards and the comments fit the game. Instead of throwing iceballs waves or confetti, how about a moon or sun to throw. how about bags like. fancy birkin bag and when you huge them ither team bags you can toss bags at them and when your partner is gathering up bags and making you repeatedly lose how about a “too many bags, let’s give those bags to the other team “. I can’t communicate except for the preset convos but this app is worked in monthly as there are new events weekly and new monthly challenges. Oh the things we do to restore our sanity and keep our brains. thank you.
Horrible game play
The bots used to run blackjack really suck, constantly trumping your play. Spend a little more time training the bots and you could actually have something decent

The one issue I have is the robots are not intuitive players when there is a Nil and lack the strategy to defeat the opponent by making them take a trick.
Game is rigged
I’ve seen other reviews state they feel the game is slanted towards the computer and the developer response. What nonsense. The game is so rigged. Certainly as it gets higher it’s so hard to win. However I believe this is countered by as you get close to the top of a tier it flips and you basically can’t lose so you start to feel good again. Don’t lie to us. You can’t tell me that the computer can just endlessly get “nil” 4-5 times in a row by chance.

Great game! The only problem is the amount of time given to take a turn. 15 seconds is way too long. It opens the game up for trolling by players who are unhappy with the way the game is going. Also, once a player leaves, the computer should take over immediately. I understand that beginners play this game too and need time to play/bid, but maybe lower it to 10 seconds. Or even better, create a separate room for advanced players

No bags!
The normal spades rules have bags for overtricks, and if a team gets to 10 bags it is -100 pts. This is a major part of the game and seems to be totally missing from this implementation, so how it actually teaches anyone to play spades without that rule I do not know. As others have mentioned the ai is too dumb, does not try to defeat nils, and can often be brought down in its bid. The game is quite fun perhaps if you are new to card games.

The multiplayers play far too slow. In the spades game take away the bag’s element. This puts a struggle when bidding. I chose your game because it didn’t have the bag option. Let the players play.
