Great game UNTIL level 1169
I’ve really enjoyed this game. It’s clever, challenging and fun to figure out how to win…UNTIL game 1169, the one with 10 apples and no way to win. After 5 days of being stuck I give up. Unfortunately, it is the only game in Apple Arcade with this type of puzzle (I’ve played quite a few and this is the last one) and if I quit this game I’ll also quit Arcade. With any luck the developers will see this and provide some tips on what is needed to win.
Fun but doesn’t make sense
I wish the levels were longer and it also gets confusing and also what does or what is sumi sumi mean or do?
Fun, Cute, & Relaxing!
I love this game so much!! I've been playing it daily for nearly 3 months now. It's low stress with just enough challenge, but not too much to where it's impossible or infuriating like other puzzle games I've tried. Also, the visuals are super cute! It's cozy, adorable, and non-violent. Sometimes the loading screen is a bit glitchy, but if you wait a few seconds before tapping, it's fine. I got used to it quickly and the game is absolutely worth overlooking it. There's a few things I'd love to see added/changed, but I seriously adore this game and highly recommend downloading it. I'm only listing them here because I don't know how else to get it to the developers! 1) The ability to exchange Lucky Draw Points in bulk, like how you can redeem 10 Lucky Draws at a time if you use Rubies. It's annoying to have to tap through every single Lucky Draw animation and buttons one at a time when using Points. 2) PLEASE either change the way event completion is calculated or change the "Use an item" reward. I'm begging you!! The reward requires using an item 30 times total, but there's only 20 levels, and most of the levels I don't even need to use an item, let alone multiple items. I never come even close to using 30 items, so even though I finished all the levels, because I didn't complete all the rewards, it says I haven't completed the event. All the other rewards are totally reasonable, items is the only one I struggle with. When I first started playing, I went back through and made myself use items just so it would show completed but it was so annoying and felt like I was wasting items, so I haven't done it again. As someone who is usually a completionist, this bugs me endlessly. It makes the events way less satisfying and fun. 3) The ability to skip through the animations after completing a level (when all the drums and remaining moves get converted to points). I'm currently on stage 1102, and having to watch it every single time quickly got old a long time ago. I'm pretty used to it by now, so to anyone thinking about downloading the game don't let this deter you! I still highly recommend the game. But it would definitely be a nice improvement! 4) I wish the Sumi Sumi character maximum score levels were more even. I understand having variety, but some of my favorite cute character styles are so much lower than others that I feel like I can't use them because I need to use the higher score levels. It's just such a significant score difference. 5) I personally love the ability for the Soothsayer Black Cat-Style Spica so much that it never leaves by Buddies. It's by far the most useful ability! I wish more characters had the same ability so I could switch it out. Strawberry-Style Rilakkuma is similar but not quite the same, as you can't pick exactly which Sumi Sumi tile it starts on.

Relaxing (until it's not)
Overall: a really cute matching game but there was a lot of learning curves that defeated the whole "relaxing" purpose. for every area, there's maybe 20 stages (levels). great reward system until you start getting to the higher areas. Pros: - endless amount of game time. There's no lives or timer or limit to play a day. Per game you have a set amount of moves to use. - generous rewards, every accomplished stage (level), you can get a variety of rewards from coins, diamonds, etc. - tutorial, very thorough but often still confusing as there's stages where you're given pieces you've never seen before and in a later area, the guide will explain what it is. - i've reached Area 9, Stage 161 without having to spend one dime out of pocket Cons: - in order to get the really good rewards per stage, you have to meet the threshold (valid). the first few areas are very attainable until you start coming across a few that are ridiculously challenging. i'm not sure yet but i believe you have to reach the max threshold per stage to pass to the next area (not sure yet, all the stages I've done have had an attainable max threshold). this moves onto my next item - as you reach the higher Areas (area 9 for example), the thresholds are ridiculous to achieve! i've spent almost 30 minutes trying to make it to the first threshold. i gave up, pretty much the complete opposite of "relaxed". for every cleared area, the cleared levels have a new max threshold and those are ridiculous to pass. reclearing the area gives you more rewards. - the characters are adorable but their purpose in a game is confusing. each character has a special ability and i've found them to often be...useless. no matter how much i leveled them up...still not sure how they come in handy in a game. - some of the combo pieces often seem confusing as well with how much points you get per piece. this is how i noticed the higher area was more difficult, the combo pieces barely moved the ticker on the threshold scale. have fun but have patience as you're moving up :)

A lot of people have mentioned things like the woman’s voice that is annoying and the long animations, plus the forced tutorials that go letter by letter. - those are ridiculous. Overall, I love this game and the sound effects - other than the woman’s voice - but also as some people have mentioned it gets impossible to complete challenges as you move further along, and I’ve also noticed that it’s much more difficult to get past one star in the later rounds. Right now, I am confused by the hamburger challenge where the challenges aren’t defined as in what the heck is a snowflake drum? What is a rainbow arrow drum? What is a super rainbow drum? Nothing tells you what those things are. I can’t find that information anywhere. Also, it doesn’t help that the support site linked to the App Store is completely in Japanese. It would be great if you just had like a leisurely level where you could just play the game without having to meet a challenge just to enjoy the relaxing aspects of it.

I stopped and deleted the game before even finishing the tutorial because of how absolutely annoying it was.
Cute!
Cute game, fun to play, but I’ve got some gripes. Not fond of the forced tutorial and why the heck is level 90 impossible to get a flag on even when using every possible power-up?? Please fix that level. Sincerely, someone who otherwise really likes the game.
Why is the tutorial so many stages?
The game seems fun, but the tutorial just goes on stage after stage after stage. Had to stop playing at stage 6.
Difficult to understand translation
This games wonderful and I wish I could rate it higher, but the English translation is very janky at times. It’s especially hard to try and understand what your special power ups are supposed to do, and often the game will glitch and display the wrong language altogether. Overall if you’re not really reading much of the text and just going through the game skipping around it shouldn’t be too much of an issue, but until this is fixed expect a very iffy time with this game.

Later stages not good for relaxing
I didn’t think I could hate anything more than the cotton candy machines. Then I got to the soda whirlpools. I haven’t sworn at a game this much since Match Factory (which I deleted for going too hard in later stages). Anyway, wondering when you’ll add volume 9. If you have, it doesn’t show up for me.
It ok
I have played a ton of levels of this game, but as I have gotten further along, I have found that the ones where you have to remove the large plate are nearly impossible, and not fun. Enough, so to say that some levels appear to be unbeatable, which makes the game annoying and not fun. I started out, loving it and recommended it to a bunch of people, but I have since changed my mind. It’s a shame because it had a lot of potential.

Very fun puzzles!
Artwork and animation go a long way for me. The front cover alone made me want to download the game. It plays like a yo kai watch pairing game with tonnnsss of interesting puzzles and power ups. Lots of rewards and colors and even a lucky draw! Super fun! 10/10
All my progress was lost after update
After the update all my progress was deleted and it started me over from the beginning. It was so fun, but now it would be too much effort to try to get back to where I was. Very disappointed.

I absolutely love this game but I’ve beaten all the stages and it said new levels would be out September 4 and nothing new has been added. Also, I have been trying to get the last few characters for weeks and never draw them.

I passed the whole game, all the event worlds and have run out of levels, been playing sumisumi dojo but it’s not the same. Great game, needs to update sooner with more areas. Feening for more!!
Endless tutorials
Y’all, it’s a match game, not the latest open world Zelda epic. The forced tutorials at the beginning of the game are endless, way too long, and come in rapid fire. After 20 minutes of trying to play the game but just tapping on instruction screens nonstop, I deleted. Maybe it’s great if you can get through the inane hand-holding.

Too many instructions
There are too many popups telling you what to do. Just let me play the game. I’m on level 8 or 9 and I think I’m just gonna stop because it’s more annoying than it is fun.
Almost there
This is a great game to kill the boredom but I have a few gripes. #1 is the cloud syncing. EVERY TIME I open the app it asks which version is the most recent version and 100% of the time it’s the local version on my phone. On top of that, if I leave the app for one second to check a message, it has to load from the cloud I guess?? I’m not sure why this game is constantly trying to sync itself. #2 is the unskippable animations. They may be cute the first few times but not being able to skip or fast forward when I complete a puzzle with 30 moves left over or I get a grand flag and I have to sit and watch the guy fly around the flag twice and change it. It just feels unnecessary and slow. Last one is the buddy system. I find it confusing and overwhelming as to how many you get and what they all do. It has the gameplay of an idle puzzle game while having the lore/info of a roguelike. Don’t expect you to fix that but if you could fix the first two this would be 5 stars

Forced Tutorial = Remove From Device
This game is actually pretty fun but there are too many un-skippable, long, and overdone tutorials for a matching game. I wanted to be able to relax and just get rid of some cute animals, not learn a whole new language 😒
So cute but needs some tweaks
This game is as adorable as it looks. Great job on adorability. A few things i would change: I’d prefer to hear the SFX without the reaction sound of the girl “ooooh! Ahhhh!” Some instructions are a little unclear. Maybe it’s a translation issue? Get rid of the propeller sumis. They move at random and have forced me to give up the main game path because they are so impossibly annoying.
Fun but buggy
There’s definitely a bug with completing all of an area’s missions. As far as I can tell, when you’re working on the grand flag missions you have to claim the rewards after each level. If you don’t you can end up with no new missions but not 100%. I have this stuck for area 4 and 5 now. Really frustrating. I even deleted the app and reloaded with the iCloud data and still can’t complete those areas.
Super Fun
The game is super fun and balanced for a while. Once I got in the 300s the fun went away, the RNGness of the game became really annoying, and the levels were a huge chore to complete. It was an amazing game for a while!

Broken
This game won’t stop deleting my saves…I’ve played the tutorial 3 times by now and it still keeps restarting me.
Fun Game! But…
It’s a really fun game but please fix the translations because some of it is still in Japanese. But overall, it’s a good game to just chill for a while and it’s cute! The introduction tutorial is a bit long.
Glitch
There’s a glitch where sometimes missions don’t populate in some areas and you can’t get the final reward despite completing the great flag challenges.

First of all; I LOVE this game, the interface is clean and simple, the characters are so cute and the progression is satisfying, somewhat challenging without being too difficult. That being said, I wish the animation between levels & for buddies was quicker, interactive, or could be skipped, especially when I have a timed power boost I want to use it on as many levels as I can! I love seeing new buddy animations but after having the same ones for a while i want to skip and keep playing the level with no interruption

Can't open app
I managed to play this yesterday, but now the app won't let me past the start-up screen. I've clicked everywhere and restarted it...no luck. I have no idea how I got into the game yesterday. This app was fun, but it's not worth the trouble.
Cute and Fun
But some translations issues, or rather… a few missed translations. The alert when you’re out of gacha tickets is still in Japanese, and whatever the new event is has not been translated at all. Ol’ dude has a LOT of dialogue for the translations to be absent, so I hope it wasn’t anything critically important!
Forced tutorials are an absolute bane to gaming
This game, like entirely too many other games, has a completely and utterly useless forced tutorial. I would love to see all developers that put forced tutorials into their games black balled from any form of software development. I just want to play the game. I don’t care about your daily rewards or special out of game features. I just want to play. Forcing me to interact with a tutorial for feature I do not care about makes games like this unplayable, because it literally WILL NOT LET ME PLAY. It is like being forced to go through a tutorial on how to create pivot tables in Excel because you need to type in just one cell. How hard is it to just put a little marker on the special feature and just let me go there myself when I am ready? Apparently completely impossible for developers like this. Which is why developers like this should be black balled from ALL software development. This all gets back to the developers caring more about forcing a certain experience regardless of if it is best for the game or the player. If an on rails experience is desired by the developer, then they need to stick to on rails game design. Otherwise what is best for the game and the player needs to take precedence over the developers on rails vision.

Nothing really different than all the other 3-match games I think, after finishing the goal of each level, the total should add up faster. Not much replay value

This is one of my favorite adult games. It checks the boxes for: Landscape Orientation Requires Strategic Thinking As a mom who got Apple Arcade for games for her kids, this has been one of my favorite finds for me.

The usual match 2+ game but the game saves seem broken. You’ll play it when you should be doing something else. Eventually, you’ll look back on your life and realise you missed your children growing up, just to make it to level 999 of this. Time well spent? I don’t blame you, it’s attention span / psychological warfare dressed up with dogs.
Can't access game
Like another reviewer, I can't get past the start-up screen. I have found the only way to do it is to delete the app, restart my phone, then reinstall the app. It shouldn't be this hard!
