Horrible when you get to higher levels
This game was great when started, but is against you when you get up to higher levels. It sticks you with the queen alone or is always passed alone when you have one spade. Like I said when you’re first starting out… great game, but the developer has rigged the fun out of the game at the higher levels.

Not Impressed
I have been playing hearts for many years. I just started playing this version a week or so ago. I don’t know if the AI opponents are going to get smarter, but they definitely are not as good as other games I played. I played 40 years or so games and I’ve not lost yet. I lose quite often on other computer versions of Hearts. Also it’s fairly easy to shoot the moon. The AI opponents don’t do a good job stopping you.
Has shoot the moon
It’s OK. Easy way to pass the time. The main problem is the same as all games with bots - they are playing as a team to beat you, not win. They will immediately block any attempt to shoot the moon the player makes, but allow the other bots to easily do so. The bots also will hold the queen for the player as opposed to another bot. So you have to play an entirely different game style- beat three every hand, not just win. But good over all.

Fun but definitely coded against you
Hearts is about random cards but it’s clear, after hundreds of hours playing this game, that it is coded to “stack the deck” against you on certain rounds. Then if you have too many points the game ensures one or more computer players “take a dive” near the end to catch up to your miserable performance it set up for you early on. No strategic decisions can be made because the game ensures the other computer players have the proper cards to ruin you at every turn. Sadly, I keep going back to this game and every time it is obvious that the cards are not random but prearranged and also arranged mid game to suit its difficulty coding.
Good But …
It’s a really good Hearts option but the “Master” level just means opponents shoot the moon 2/3s of the time.
Worst of the bunch
Of all the mobility ware card games this one is the worst. It is set up so you lose most of the time.

Whoever is in charge of RIGGING THE GAMES at Hearts+ needs to learn to be human. Extremely disappointing. Will play different app’s game.

Updated Scoring
I actually really like playing on this app. I haven’t had any problems with it working. However, with the updated scoring where the winner gets 10 points, second place is only 2 points, third is 1 point, and last is minus 3 points, it makes it less enjoyable. If you don’t score in first place, it’s really hard to advance. Please make the scoring more fair. Like 10, 5, 3, and minus 2, seems to be more fair.

This is a challenging card game. I miss having a partner. I wish we had words to say to each other.
Nice game, wish it had multiplayer
Really enjoy this game, computer player make fair choices and shuffling seems fair. Increasing level of difficulty helps learn. A multiplayer mode would be great!
Many Better Hearts Games
Like many of Mobility Wares games this one disappoints. Occasionally slows to a crawl. Frequently won’t load or takes 5 or 6 minutes. Recently it stopped tallying the score. There are numerous superior alternatives. Time to delete. 4/19/2026 I received a message from Apple with a link to respond to a MobilityWare developer about my comment. No surprise the link took me to a page promoting their games, nothing to do with interacting with a developer. I’ve uninstalled MobilityWare games and not interested in fixing them. I did recommend to Apple that they review MobilityWares products as they are not up to Apples normal quality standards.
Been awesome but a bug…
Hearts has always been a great card game and this app works great for me, but lately there’s been a problem. So, one of the basic rules of hearts is that you can’t lead hearts until someone “breaks” hearts by playing it in hand, or the queen of spades. However, the bots have LEAD hearts before it’s been broken, which is right. Just a small bug, but an annoying one. However, hearts has always been a good game, so unless this little bug really annoys you, I would recommend.
Rigged
I simply do not believe that the dealing is random. Once I reached the Diamond tiers, the improbability of the distribution became stunning, and honestly I became less and less interested in playing. It’s too bad, because I really enjoyed the game until the last few weeks.
Great game, but…
The game is great, except one factor-sometimes, the bots are overpowered, and it seems rigged. Otherwise, great game! Overall, definitely worth your time!
Hearts rules!
Hearts is an amazing and kind of addictive game.But a good type of addictive. Hearts is challenging, fun, and competitive. It’s great at stimulating kids brains and showing them how powerful their brains can get. Also, it’s free, and you don’t need wi-fi to play it. I should know, because this game makes my screen time go up.
My emotes aren’t displaying
I love the game; it’s fun and seems to be programmed well. But I can’t see my emotes. I see everyone else’s, but mine show up blank. Is that normal? I’m on Platinum tier now.

Constantly getting the same exact hands prevents me from giving this game 5 stars. Annoying.
AI gets ridiculous
Queen of spades just spanks you again and again and again. Not true to life, becomes not fun

Too many things happen consistently, and app’s players make too many stupid mistakes for this to be randomly dealt and smartly played. Some games are predetermined to be either you’re awesome or you’re terrible. App players sometimes lead Queen of Spades when no one would do so, unless outcome is predetermined.
Needs Multiplayer mode like Spades+
Great game. Just need to add Multiplayer mode just like the Spades+ Apple Arcade game did to make this a 5* app
Uninstalled
Latest update contains loads of pop-ups ‘gamifying’ what used to be a nice casual game. “Stop playing, you’ve got a 1 day streak!; “Stop playing, look at this special opponent!”. I pay for Apple Arcade to avoid this sort of nonsense.

This developer has decided in order to make the game more competitive, it would be easier to program the game to cheat the human challenger by seeing which cards he holds and to deal him the worst hands possible. Don’t waste you time on their games, they suck!
Fun, quick paced game.
The game colours are nice, it’s relaxing and fun. I like that there are no sudden pop up ads. have a few other games by the same company, that I enjoy.
Apple Hearts
This game is ok but nothing more. Anyone who plays hearts would recognize that the AI players don’t play as well as real players. The hearts game I play in n “ASTAR” is much better.
The cards are juiced beyond belief
I was enjoying this until I hit a few levels up and the cards are juiced (it cheats like crazy) to enable Shooting the Moon as a regular event (it’s even in the daily goals!!). Having the cards and successfully shooting the moon in real life is less than 1% of the time, so having the moon shot multiple times in a game is absolutely ridiculous and honestly, not fun gameplay. Also, the other AI players do nothing to stop it, it’s all on you to take hearts to prevent it. Tiring.

New champion levels & series stinks
I love playing this hearts game. Until the entire champion levels and series was revamped in early January 2026. Was a horrible experience it’s been playing since then. I’ve stuck with playing every day for 12 days now and frankly I’m ready to download and play another hearts game from any other vendor. So disappointing that this particular hearts+ game has been ruined by a supposed “new & improved champion game” scheme that continuously dumps you from winning a series to starting over at the bottom of the next series. Hit repeat over and over. Please get me out of this crazy champion series nonsense.
Fun but UX needs work
I play this game lots. And the one thing that frustrates me is how the fan of the cards move between rounds. When you play the last card and lead the next round, in different scenarios the fan of the cards changes where the cards are on the screen and can lead you to play the wrong card. It’s ruined my strategy often enough to lose a star on an otherwise impeccable Hearts game.
Why does it get so much harder?
Starts off playing fairly enough but as you progress through the levels it cheats. I note that the devs assure us that it doesn’t in another review but I would counter that by saying “oh yes it does”. I was at Diamond 2 when I’ve stopped playing because the “luck” of the other players was becoming unbelievable and the game stopped being enjoyable. I can win about 1 in 8 hands if I’m lucky, and that requires me to be dealt a ton of low cards and even then I’m often ambushed with the Queen by an AI player who couldn’t possibly reasonably think that it was safe to play. Fun while it lasted but app deleted I’m afraid.
Many bugs
I've enjoyed the app for a couple years now, and I love the little things this app does that others don't, such as different colors for different suites. So I don't want anyone to think I hate this app. While there’s a number of little bugs, I just want to mention 2. So many times when I finish a game, it doesn't actually count it. Just now, it counted yesterday's game as being finished now, and gave me a streak freeze for yesterday. I kinda feel like screaming, but it's just a silly feature so I guess it's not worth screaming. The other one is a rotation issue. Until August, I had iOS 15. Finally when I updated to iOS 18, a random bug started happening. I have my game locked to horizontal mode, but when I open the app, half the app gets cut off EVERY time. EVERY time I need to leave the app and come back. Man am I sick of that! Please just fix that! Using iPhone SE 2.

The BOTS are horrible
I have reached Gold level recently. However, the game has change now. I am no longer able to win. I believe the BOTS have learned my algorithm and they can predict my every move. I have tried to change the way I play, hoping to change my algorithm. It’s no longer fun and entertaining. It almost seems like that the BOTS are attacking me. I’m done and I am deleting this game.

AI is predictable and impossible to win at higher levels
The AI in this game is very poor. Without fail I know what the AI will do. Break hearts, and next round the AI plays hearts. Try to do shoot the moon, AI holds highest heart card until last round. No one would hold a high heart 10 tricks from end of game. I am an expert player but can’t get more than 2nd place in a game from Gold tier up. Deleting app until AI can be fixed.
Something needs to be fixed… just minor
I absolutely love hearts. Love this game. There’s just one problem. The special opponent is always on my left. I’d like it to be random where the special opponent is.(Eg. one game it’s on the right, then left, then across), instead of being always on the left. Also, whenever I have the queen of spades and no support, the bots tend to play spades and this has been happening a lot. But with the other bots they don’t play spades. Can you please fix that?? Thank you.

These card games are the best thing going as far as games
Great game except
The conspires against you. It like the game knows your hand and will make sure you the Queen of Spades. The deeper you go the worse it gets. Still love it though.
Could be improved
Usability is great! Everything is findable and the pacing is good, too. No complaints about gameplay at all. It’s just that to me, the graphics are very outdated. Saturated colours, gradient shading, old fashioned settings UI. Card games in general could use a modern aesthetic. Cheers.

Ok but not sure about ai of other players… Real world people would be better…
