Very power hungery
I don't know how the developers made a simple game so inefficient but your phone will discharge while plugged in to a fast charger. Not even Civilization does this, so it's impressive how horrific the power drain is
Too Difficult
You guys need to turn the difficulty down on this game. The computer routinely plays the card you need after you’ve given up and tossed part of a set. It seems like no matter what the computer goes out after playing 3 or 4 cards ROUTINELY. This game used to be fun but now it’s more often frustrating because of how NOT random it is.
Better than a Cocktail
For some reason every time I play Gin Rummy it relaxes my stress. I’m not allowed a cocktail because of a Rx I started a couple months ago. Playing gin rummy helps me A LOT! No withdrawal Thank you very much!

Cheats on higher levels
It is fun to play initially, but as you move up to higher levels, the game is made more difficult by the “AI” obviously simply cheating. It’s a shame because it runs an otherwise acceptable time waster.
Soooo not random
After playing a few hundred hands you cannot convince me that the cards are random. I can guess what card I’m going to be dealt based on what cards I had played probably 75% of the time. Game is fine but isn’t built for long time play as it’s very repetitive.
THE BEST
Honestly I play this game in my free time and I love it it’s good just to have something to do. I teach friends and family so we can play multiplayer and have fun. Its good to get the brain working and get your gears turning so I recommend this game to people how like strategy games plus there are no ads I think

if there's a way to turn off timed hints i can't find it. i don't need a hint just because i took more than 5 seconds to decide what to do let me play the game by myself. also there's no way to play online with a specific person which is disappointing.
Turn off rewards and achievements
The card gameplay by itself is fine, but the constant nudging to collect rewards and coins is quite irritating.

Great but one big flaw
Probably the best gin rummy app on the App Store but unfortunately it’s missing one huge feature. No way to challenge friends. There is online play but it’s with random people. Seems odd that it connects to apples Game Center where we have our friend list but we can’t play with our friends. Anyways skip this one if you want to challenge your friends or family.
Game Uses Dirty Tricks
Wow I magically drew the card I wanted as soon as I discarded a card that broke that potential meld. It happens over and over again. Not random. Just a computer using dirty tricks to make you feel like you “almost got it” and keep you coming back. Like how slots are programmed. I hate it. Just give me a real card game with a real randomized deck. No dirty engagement tricks.

This could have been a better version.
This developer has decided in order to make the game more competitive, it would be easier to program the game to cheat the human challenger by seeing which cards he holds and to deal him the worst hands possible. Don’t waste you time on their games, they suck!
First impressions
I’m never really trust the randomness of the deck in these games. But its still fun.
Are decks reshuffled every hand?!
If this game is 100% random dealings, I gotta see some proof. The computer consistently comes back from a huge deficit more times than not, and I SWEAR I've seen cards already discarded get discarded again! If this deck is adequately shuffled each hand, I'll eat my phone. Can count the times the computer has dropped its entire hand on like the second turn for Gin! And not being able to rearrange your hand (or having the "helper" do it for you mid-hand and screw up your entire strategy) is an oversight which can't be understated: this is not Gin Rummy. It's fun, but only if you're a glutton for punishment.
No point after reaching gold level
It’s brilliant up until you reach the gold tier 3. Then the computer player literally wins every round in less then 5 turns. They are dealt tremendous cards every round and the ones they need just happen to fall to them pretty quickly. Up till then it’s an awesome game just no point playing after.

Ok but
I won’t repeat what I see written by others that I agree with. But I do have a feature request that is more like real life playing. When your opponent knocks you should be able to readjust your hand so that you can take better advantage of the cards your opponent has laid down by switching your melds and 3 of a kinds. It would also be nice if it implemented the choice of Hollywood scorings for games.
Even more fun if they fix it
As others are saying, starting a round with my opponent having 8 cards already matched is a joke. Please fix it, there’s a great game here.
Needs Async MP
Really needs Async multiplayer with friends. I miss this. I use to play card games with my parents but every game removed Async. I want to play a turn and then my parents get a notification it’s their turn. I don’t want to play some random person or be forced to play a whole game in one sitting.

Horribly programmed
This is one of the worst programmed card games I’ve ever played. It has been coded to make sure you win/lose and by a close amount to keep you engaged. There is no skill or luck involved in this. Pass it up and look for a new one.
Enjoy but data lost
Fun game and no complaints about its execution. However, I was playing this outside Apple Arcade & reached Platinum I. Data did not transfer when I started playing in Apple arcade - sadly :-(
Can’t win
Seriously considering deleting this app. It seems that I can win one game per day and no more. Very frustrating!
No chance cards are drawn randomly
Very poor game AI. A big win seems to always be followed by a big loss. Frustrating to play when it is clear that the deck will be stacked against you, literally, and card draws are biased.

Rigged Deck
I have never drawn so many high face cards in a row as when playing this app on the deadwood gin games! I could swear I drew 5 kings in one game. That is up until I start saving up kings - then you are lucky to draw or see a discard of even one king. And the computer opponent will gin out faster if you do. Yet you still usually win the round. Go figure. It’s not real enough IMO. With luck like that - play the lottery often.
Fun game, but…
WHY DOES A CARD GAME MAKE MY PHONE RUN SO HOT?!? Seriously, I’ll play it for 15-20 minutes and my phone turns into one of those hand warmers you put into your gloves in the winter.
Fine But Off
Game is fine. Computer isn’t the best player. But issue is as you “progress” it just progressively gives the computer better hands and pushes your cards later in the deck. Combine that with the knock at every opportunity computer approach which droves an undercut first strategy and the game quickly gets boring. It’s a silly dynamic, particularly the whole hand bias approach to ramping difficulty as you keep playing.
Poor Shuffling Mechanism
This game is let down by the appalling code in the shuffle mechanism. Too many sets stay together, with the worst I have seen being four Queens in a row … 300,000 to 1 … but that game also had multiple three card runs which appear with similar odds (in a truly random pack). I got to first in Ultimate Tier because I recognised the poor shuffling and adjusted my playing style to take advantage of the failure of the logic in the application. Then you just have to be better at stochastic thought than a computer game whose development team can’t properly generate pseudo random numbers. Simple. PS: I teach software development for a living ;-)
Best Card App Under Apple Arcade!
To those who are looking for a fun card game to play within the Apple Arcade section of the App Store, I highly recommend getting this game. This game, unlike the others, allows you experience the fun things about Gin Rummy that no other app includes. This game gives you options to compete against opponents in a slower or faster pace as well as an easy or hard option, which other card games don’t have under the Arcade section. Funny enough when I was visiting Europe, I got bored that I hoped into the game and got one of my curious friends into the game and couldn’t stop playing during the trip. No matter if you are sitting in the car during a long drive or waiting for your flight to launch, I recommend playing Gin Rummy Classic+ as a way to fulfill your time.

Entertaining but
It is also frustrating. The algorithm is predictable. If you play a card type, say a Queen, back to the discard pile, the program will start serving the same type - the other queens. By then you lost your strategy. Used cards come back on the card pile and sometimes it is a draw. It doesn’t make sense.
Too low
Multiplayer winning score is way too low. Only 50 points to win is ridiculous. This means there could be a win after only one hand.
Fixed
If you throw away a card you can guarantee the game will show the card you wanted For example you throw away one of your two 7s and then a seven will be the next card shown. Occasionally fine … but every time unrealistic

I always get on when I’m getting anxious or just bored and helps me relax.
Rigged game
I am defintiely NOT playing other players. How can every single player pick up just a couple cards and always win while I get terrible cards?? This game is so rigged and you are playing against a computer player that has its deck already set up and just needing a few cards. The game let's you win the first few times to get you hooked and then you win nothing more. And I'm a very good player. Been playing this game for over 40 years. There is no way these are real players. Such a let down. Tired of these rigged games.

Single player is just fine. Why no ability to choose your multiplayer partner? I’d love to just play with my wife.
Hand stacking at higher levels
The average time the computer takes to get a knock hand gets very short at higher levels, suggesting that the game is simply giving the computer better cards at these levels — that’s a horrible way to design a game. The computer and player should always get randomly assigned cards.

I like playing but when I got to the platinum level it becomes impossible to win. The only way that can be accomplished is by manipulating the deck.
