Forced algorithm totally favors low cash and low hand count players. It’s laughable how obvious it is. Me waiting for a robot response of “OUR ALGORITHM IS NOT FORCED AND TOTALLY FAIR”

I’ve played this and the non-arcade version. It looks like the paid one is missing features that are available in the free one - arcade has fewer games (no slots, roulette, craps) and the card collections have levels that are permanently locked (they can be unlocked in the free version by upgrading).
Decent but a lot of connection issues
It will cause you to lose money or a hand on occasion but usually finishes in time to save yourself. I just didn’t expect that to be an issue with an Apple Arcade approved game.

Ultimate Texas Hold'em
I've thoroughly enjoyed playing poker on this app. But I keep waiting for you ro add Ultimate Texas Hold'em. I've been playing on Blackjackist, and it would be nice to play on Pokerist +.
Deals not random
I’ve been playing for many months. Regardless as to what the game says, The cards are not random. I lost 10 hands in a row, which is a 0.098% odds. Numerous times the dealer pulls the winning card. Only way to win is vs player or the free slot play. Cards are rigged vs cpu. New meaning house always wins. Game needs to fix the random deals.

Gameplay
The bad beats are ridiculous at this point. I can’t even play for an hour without at least ten bad beats. Not even worth trying anymore.
Algorithm off
I’ve been playing this game for some months now. I enjoy the game for the most part but the algorithm in the card games, (mostly noticed in BlackJack) are way off. Obviously it’s not real money but it would be nice to play with a real shuffled 52 card deck.

Blackjack is rigged arcade game
Nice app but my experience at playing Blackjack is a rigged game. I’m sure I’ll get the standard developer response about a fair algorithm and random card generator but I have serious doubts about this. Play for enjoyment but be ready for a lot of unfair outcomes.
Only one pain…
The only issue that drives me crazy is when we are waiting on someone’s turn and they not only get a timer but a second slower timer. Pls, if someone isn’t responsive make the timer quicker or kick them out the game. This is such a pain at bigger tables, happens multiple times.
They have bugs that make the payouts cheat you
Many times on ultimate hold ‘em offline I’m playing out here where I don’t get WiFi on my property and I have higher pair than the dealer yet they take my chips away from me! 2 stars this is all whacked off. A couple times they did it with WiFi too.
Unlikely hands.
The game is fun, and I’ve been enjoying it but it perpetually gives other players the same unlikely or slightly better rare hand that you have, making you buy in more than you should. For example, if you have a straight, it’ll also give 3 of the other players at the table the same straight.

Mis-reads hands
I’ve had, like, 4 winning hands that would’ve almost doubled my chip count but when the cards are revealed somehow my hand gets a serious downgrade. And I’m not talking about two pair down to pair; I’m talking about flushes getting downgraded to a pair. The devs need to fix this problem.

Schick, aber überladen und unrealistisch
Die vielen Pocker,- Blackjack- und Automatenvarianten mit zahllosen Aufgaben und Belohnungen machten erst mal Spaß. Da es bei Apple-Arcade kostenlos und ohne Werbung ist, habe ich mir einen guten Einblick verschaffen können, wie das in „echten“ Casinos wohl aussieht. Ist aber auch eine gute „Warnung“, vor diesen da man schnell die Übersicht und damit sein „Geld“ verliert (zum Glück kein echtes). Man bekommt zwar umgehend neues, dadurch wird es aber sehr unrealistisch und viele Spieler gehen ungeachtet ihrer Karten ständig „all in“ oder machen ähnlichen Blödsinn, den es in einer echten Partie niemals gäbe. Unrealistisch macht es auch, dass bei vielen Avataren Namen und Aussehen vom Geschlecht nicht zusammen passen und diese ständig mit verschiedenen Werten auftauchen (Bots???) Doppelt ärgerlich, da es keinen Offline-Modus für Solopartien gegen ausgewiesene Computergegner gibt. Da hätte ich wenigstens gewusst, wo ich dran bin! Die Ansicht ist außerdem so überladen, dass ich auf meinem Standard-iPad eigentlich eine Vergrößerungsbrille und einen Apple-Pencil zum Lesen und Bedienen der fuzzeligen Menüs bräuchte… Langer Rede kurzer Sinn: Witzig zum Reinblinzeln in die Poker- und Casinowelt. Leider keine Atmosphäre für längere Partien.
Glad it’s ad free, but to say this is fair play is…
a huge stretch, you only need visit the blackjack tables to experience this. If the dealer starts out with a face card, the next card will give the dealer 20 or blackjack roughly 7-8 times out of 10, it’s very noticeable. In addition, the star tournaments are killing gameplay. Players join a table then run down the clock to the last second, then every card turn do the same. A round of for example Ultimate Holdem that should take a minute or less, can last 2-3 minutes due to players hoping the star reward hits. People,myself included will leave money on the table and just leave due to all the stalling. This could be a great game, but fair it is not, at least not right now. I’m a developer by trade & coming up with a completely fair play algorithm just isn’t that difficult, good luck.

Too many bots, RIGGED
After seeing other reviews, I thought they were sore losers. However, I just sat for 2 hours and a bot won EVERY single hand in Omaha. I was curious and experimenting, but witnessing it became frustrating. Bots come in and force you ‘All In’ and win. Seriously, more flush wins than I can count, four of a kind, and the least was a three of a kind. You get a flush; they have a flush with higher card. It’s ridiculous. Texas hold ‘em has a lot of these issues too. While it’s late at night and there may not be online players, filling the table with AI brainiac players is ridiculous. They say that there is a random generator, but I’m a developer by trade, there is no possible way it’s randomly generated. Black jack, for example, has MULTIPLE face cards in the same round during tables. It’s figuratively impossible to have 5+ straight hands with face cards. This needs serious work.

In dieser Apple Arcade Version entfällt das kostspielige Nachkaufen der Spielwährung, was ein großer Vorteil ist. Auch die nervige Werbung entfällt. Ist man jedoch Pleite gegangen, bekommt man ganze 10K an neuem Budget. Damit kommt man im Spiel nicht mehr sehr weit und auch in den höheren Rängen erreicht man damit kaum noch zusätzliche Items. Auffällig ist auch, dass beispielsweise beim Black Jack die Gewinnraten gegen die Bank so niedrig sind, dass man hier schnell sein Geld loswerden kann. Scheint wohl ein Überbleibsel aus der kostenpflichtigen Variante zu sein. Insgesamt ein Spiel, bei dem man am Ende doch schnell die Lust verlieren kann.

Okay, Ive played many poker apps and they are all the same. This is very heavily rigged in the apps favor, players have very low win rates as usual in an attempt to get you to buy chips. I haven't bought anything in this game, but I can guarantee just like the others, the moment you buy chips your win rate will go up. Its a psychological move that tricks your brain into thinking buying chips is a good thing. Just be prepared to lose a whole bunch and play the lowest buy in tables if you wanna play for extended periods. The second you play in a higher stakes game you will lose everything in an attempt to get you to buy. I hope developers at some point in time drop this design, it is the main reason I never play poker apps longer than a week or two. This will be deleted soon
Decent game…however
Connection issues galore. Constantly reconnecting to their server/network. Otherwise decent game. Offline the game works good. Too bad one needs to be online for the desirable games. UPDATE: Congrats guys you have fixed something that wasn’t broken. With your “UPDATE” my avatar got trashed. Thankfully that appears to be the only issue discovered. Gameplay may be quicker…ooh ahh hold me back. +1 Star for effort.

Terrible game
Your Pokerist game is one of the worst poker apps. It’s no win situation. I can go for months without winning which is unrealistic. For whet I pay apple for apple one you would think that you would allow the program to have players win without waiting months of losing. It gives me a hand which I should stay in with only to get beat on the last card which happens over and over until all the chips i have build up from playing for a few weeks are are gone. And it won’t allow me to win for months after that. I dont understand the point of aggravating players with a program that doesn’t allow winning more than losing

Cannot add Real Life Friends
There is not a way to add people you know to play with you. I cannot even add family members to play. Seems to be only on Apple Arcade version. That’s a shame because I like the app and it would be the app I play on if I could invite my family members to private games.

Star Tournament - Video Poker- bugged
I don’t care about the chips I did not receive but I wish the support would stop gaslighting as my balance did NOT change after winning the Star Tournament in Joker Poker... The first time I won I questioned, the second time I won I paid more attention, stopped immediately, and reported it. Stay clear of the star tournament until they fix. (Support team has not resolved the issue)

Ok, but some issues
View needs to he zoomable, needs a setting to speed up pace of play. Despite their insistence that their RNG is “certified” (and cue their meaningless “hey, luck isn’t always on our side” canned response), deals, at least in the Blackjack portion, are suspicious. Is it possible for the dealer to literally blackjack on the deal at about an 8:1 to 10:1 ratio compared to the player? Over a short period of time it can happen, but not over time, if the deal is fair. So either their claim of a true RNG is false or their certification means zilch. But it looks good, and given it’s part of the Arcade package, I don’t really have much skin in the game.

This desperately deserves a Vision app. The waiting time for players to make their moves is a huge drag.

Just like a real casino
The house always wins!! This is a fun poker and blackjack app, but it is very heavily rigged in favor of the house. In Blackjack the dealer has a face card 19 times out of 20. And blah blah blah from the developer about their “certified algorithm and RNG”… the game is still rigged.

Poker game that makes you not want to play poker
Following the theme of some other reviews, it’s not uncommon to lose more than 15 - 20 games in a row. You’ll constantly lose all your chips; but they automatically give you more, otherwise no one would be able to play past 20 or so hands.. Also, on computer poker, don’t EVER choose the “Double” option. 80% of the time the card you have to beat is a 10 or higher. There’s no one that interaction is random.

The game outright cheats.
I will screen-record this the next time I play, to verify this. But several times, playing Ultimate Poker (I stay away from the online-only games, after reading several reviews), my winning hand has “lost”) to the game’s inferior hand. This most often happens when getting pairs (I just had a pair of 5s, dealer had 2s, yet they “won”), but it has happened when I’ve had two pairs to dealer’s one. Knowing this, there’s no way I’d play online, for actual money.

Not sure if I’m the unluckiest one at the table, but I’ve lost 98% of all hands. Even when I stick on 18, I still lose lol

Winnings are not persistent
Don’t bother, you can only ever play one table because your money disappears when you try to switch. And it isn’t persistent to that table, you go back to minimum money. On the poker machines, they award you a flush when you have a royal flush with the wild cards
