This game is a great sequel to the original. The story is thought out, beautiful, and amazing. A great game to relax with, especially if you liked the first one. I recommend!

Progress lost
I completed Men-an-tol then went back to MV1+ and finished that up. Upon returning to MV2+ all my progress appears to be lost. I considered reporting the issue on discord but was asked to provide my phone number before I could post so I resorted to leaving a review. Update: My progress was restored after finishing the first level. I think I may have suspended the app while it was starting up which corrupted my save data.
The sound doesn’t work
The sound is not working yet it says experience with sound on

This one it actually doesn't worth the money because its too short! If it was free i would give it 4 stars and if it was longer even 5 stars
Soothing, pretty, beautiful story line
I picked this game on a whim to play while experiencing a rainy day while on vacation. This was challenging enough to keep engaged but easy enough to remain calm and not frustrated. I really, really appreciated this game as I am a new mom and the story line truly touched me. I will definitely be looking into the sequels!!! I wish this game could go on forever, I ended it up beating it pretty quickly.
Apple Arcade or Bust!
This is a fantastic sequel to a fantastic game. However, since the third installment is not going to be released on Apple Arcade (Netflix exclusive, eugh) I cannot give a better star rating. Release the third installment on Apple Arcade you cowards!
No iCloud Game Save Support
I would easily give this game a 5-Star review if it supported iCloud game save support across my devices. I would love nothing more than to pick up this game on my iPhone where I left off on my iPad at home. Please fix this and this game, along with the first version, is easily a 5-star game.

Great, but…
Great game, but it has reset my progress and made me start all over 3 times now. After I exit the game and then come back later, it starts all over from the beginning.
This game is definitely as great as the first one
This game, definitely carries on the monument Valley mechanics I love. And I also like the chapter select screen, I like that not just the same. SPOILER ALERT i’m like that the story splits in 2 points from the POV from ro to her child. and it’s also way easier to determine which levels which. I love this game:)
App resets my progress every time I open it.
Every time I open the app, my progress is reset and I have to start from the very beginning. This happens when I open the app with my AirPods. So I believe it’s not Apple Arcade’s fault. Funny thing is I can see my achievements but I can’t continue from where I’ve left.
Great game but bad for family
This game is great but my two kids want to play and there isn’t a good way to share it, so it had to be deleted.
Don’t support iCloud save?

I wanted more.
I love monument valley. This was disappointing. Wasn’t as challenging as the first. Even though beautifully designed as soon as it was challenging it was over. Game was the shortest of all of them.

Let down
Disappointed that Monument Valley 3 is not going to be available for iOS. I just redownloaded the originals a while ago because I loved them much. But now I guess there is no point. Who uses Netflix gaming anyway???
Not as good as the first
While this game is still beautiful, it’s missing a lot of the elements that really made the first one unique in its aesthetic. The storyline is also kind of confusing. Game play is sort of awkward due to there being two people onscreen that almost mirror each other. More than anything though, the puzzles are just WAY too easy. The first game was decently challenging and I was stumped a few times. But this one is very boring in my opinion. It’s a cool game to zone out to and it’s relaxing, but I wouldn’t call it a puzzle game.

Keine wirkliche Innovation im Vergleich zu Teil 1. Außerdem deutlich zu kurz und zu einfach. Optisch schön und durchaus anregend, auch wenn ich mir gewünscht hätte, dass mal tatsächlich etwas über die ursprünglichen Ideen von M. C. Escher hinaus gewagt wird. Dahingehend gab es zumindest den sehr kurzen 2D-Abschnitt. Farblich ist das Spiel eine Pracht und auch das Sounddesign ist sehr gut. Wie Teil 1 vermittelt es so gut seine Atmosphäre. Die „Story“ ist allerdings sehr mager.

not only are the visuals stunning and the puzzles captivatingly interactive, the audio is fantastic. Masterfully crafted and spiritually touching. Truly mesmerizing playing the story out across the now 3 games!

The music in this game is so relaxing and the story throughout the game play is lovely. Highly recommend if you like puzzles and not so much action games. Also the visuals are amazing and mind blowing!
Broken
Had this game on my phone. Played it then deleted it. A few months later wanted to play again so re-downloaded it. It’s now broken can’t get past first level keeps going back to start
Fantastic But…
It’s WAY too short. Absolutely adore the gameplay and visuals, but breezed through this in a couple days of light play. I’m sure to add more levels would be to make the game too large of a download on a lot of phones, so I get it. I’d give this 5 stars if there were more levels, or replaying offered different paths, but now that I know how to solve the puzzles, the replayability and challenge factor are negligible. Amazing game, though. Really loved it.

Schwarzer Bildschirm nach Einführung
Nach dem Einspann und Klick auf den Stern folgt nur schwarzes Bild und es passiert nichts. Ist es nur bei mir so? Erste mal das Spiel über Apple Arcade runtergeladen und wollte es auf dem IPad Pro 11’ spiele spielen
Beautiful but not as good as the first game
Incredible atmosphere, sound, and graphics, with a few new twists on gameplay. Overall enjoyable and of course stunningly beautiful, but I felt that the puzzles were a lot easier than the first game and it felt shorter too. Felt less replay-able than the previous entry.
Disappointing after First Title
I loved the first instalment of this game and was super excited when the sequel was released. This version is just as beautiful and to look at and play but seems comparatively very easy; much easier than the first game. Also seemed much shorter. I’ve only been playing casually but completed this in a couple of days. Unlike other games it lacks replayability as once you’ve solved the puzzles repeating the game is pretty much the exact same experience. Please do continue and make another 3rd version but the game needs some longevity aspect, mini games or other reason to play longer than 2 days

Beautiful, atmospheric, short
For such simple graphics, a lot of thought and effort has gone into producing a beautiful game and the music and sounds, such as they are provide a wonderful ambience. The puzzles and puzzle mechanics are well thought out, too; messing with perspective definitely gives you pause for a moment. Unfortunately it is just for a moment as despite the above it’s neither very challenging nor very long. Still, absolutely worth playing if you’ve got a spare hour or two!
NEED MORE
Is there ever going to be a third one? These games are incredible, and it pains me that I already finished them both in just a few days. I love the artstyle and the stories they tell, and the puzzles are so wacky and insane, but easy to figure out once you comprehend the game’s usage of optical illusions. I NEED MORE OF THIS. 10/10, WOULD RECOMMEND TO EVERYONE.
Beautiful game but very short
I loved monument valley and was delighted when I saw the sequel coming onto Apple Arcade. As with the first, the game and design is beautiful, but I completed it very quickly (less than 2 hours) so was very disappointed when the credits appeared. This is the only reason I’ve rated it 4 and not 5.
