Wasting our money
This application is becoming very useless as it goes. We pay huge amount of money for monthly subscription. Once it gets to 45% of the weekly limits you start giving extremely bad and poor output even when the prompt is extremely good. You set your system to do that deliberately so people won’t have a choice than to buy credits?. I am leaving this dead application this month! Have been paying higher subscription since march! You just lost a subscriber!

This is the best AI I've used so far, but I have a sad story to share. I had saved half of my weekly data allowance—ready to be used on Sunday the 30th for an exciting project: creating an ad featuring items I bought on Amazon to make a homemade protein meal replacement. I was confident I had enough data, at least 50%. However, on Saturday night, Grok kept insisting it needed access to my photos, and despite my efforts, I couldn’t grant it permission. I knew how settings and permissions worked, so I sensed something was wrong. I tried all the basic ideas it suggested. It even kept me in a loop click her to grant access yet access wasn't even there to grant. Could not load image could not save image couldn't even take a picture all things kept saying need permission grant Grok permission .It was either an error on Grok’s part or an issue with Apple, and I felt disappointed. By Monday morning, everything seemed fine—I had full access again, ready for the week. Still, I had a plan. I finally received all the products from Amazon, but the whole day felt disappointing because I lost the data I had saved with a specific purpose in mind. It felt like money down the drain. I can’t entirely blame Grok; I don’t know who to hold responsible, but suddenly losing access and permissions was frustrating. I restarted my phone, fell asleep, and this morning, Grok had full access again. That hurt, but such is life. Regardless, I still love Grok and look forward to experiencing its full potential someday.
Inconsistent Service and Unreliable Responses
The service is quite inconsistent. At times, it says it cannot complete a request due to “high demand,” while at other times, it provides different reasons for the limitation. If there are capacity constraints, they should be communicated clearly and consistently. The overall experience can be frustrating and needs significant improvement in reliability and responsiveness

This *could* be a great app, but the constant throttling of daily use limits for free users is very telling of the owner’s intentions. Usage-wise, it’s great. When it works. Which is… intermittent to say the least. Moderation continues to be an issue, even for simple requests.

There are always constant issues and the app just keeps going downhill, back in December there was basically no limit for the free tier, it was 100 messages per 2 hours i think, and now it keeps getting lower and it about 20 messages per WEEK for free users, and even people on X say that the paid users get a short limit too. its basically a sam, not to mention how many time the bot malfunctions and the app goes down and its basically just a money grab, they’re trying to force free users to buy and its already 30 dollars PER MONTH. this is ridiculous.
