This app is a masterclass in hypocrisy dressed up as innovation. It markets itself as some bold, independent Chinese AI company, yet it bends over backwards to enforce American sanctions against Russian users. You can't even pay for the subscription with a Russian card or Apple ID — they block the entire country while pretending to be a neutral alternative to Western tech. Pick a lane: either you're independent or you're a compliance puppet for US foreign policy. You can't be both. Performance is atrocious. Responses crawl out at a glacial pace, and just when you think the conversation is building momentum, the app hits you with a paywall for basic agent features that competitors offer more fluidly. The "free" tier is essentially a demo designed to frustrate you into subscribing — except if you're Russian, in which case they don't even want your money. They just want you gone. The pricing is insulting. $19 a month for what? A slow chatbot that gatekeeps research and coding tools behind a subscription, then geo-blocks entire nations based on Washington's blacklist? Grok and other models manage to operate without this performative cowardice. If Moonshot AI is so terrified of secondary sanctions, maybe they should stop cosplaying as an independent player and admit they're just another walled garden with a geopolitical spine made of jelly. 1 star. 大体用起来还不错 可能是因为我只用于看ai写文功能 一颗星扣在对话中不能删除某些对话内容 会显得有点乱 还有不能单独选取一句话或者一段话进行更改 希望后续可以改进这些功能 其他的话感觉还是很好用 很够用的 也很容易沟通 用过不少ai软件 这个确实不错👍
太差了
首先呢，Kimi打字生成速度特别的慢，通常一篇文章就需要特别长的时间，并且中途一旦退出，就需要重新等待生成，速度基本比豆包更慢，如果让它生成文章，通常阅读的速度高于生成的速度。 还有一点就是经常出现请稍后再问，哪怕连续问三四次，也可能连续出现请稍后再问，体验感真的非常的差。 就连计算能力有时候也算比较差，数学常常出现失误，语文经常检测不出内容，这让我的感觉像是豆包一样的感觉。
用了三个月AI才发现Kimi有这个功能……但有个问题我必须说

从专业角度来看，Kimi 目前还算不上专业的产品，因为里面还有太多非常粗糙和不成熟的地方。我给它打两星（满分五星），因为它在项目表现上还不够成熟、不够专业。要想真正做好，开发团队不仅需要把之前投入的资金再拿出来，还得在此基础上翻倍投资，才能把这个半成品真正打造成一个专业的、成熟的产品，因为他们目前的产品离专业还差得很远。谢谢。

我在 iPhone App 的投屏功能上，我发现了一些比较严重的问题，希望开发团队能够改进。 我的测试环境： * iPhone * Sony 横屏电视（AirPlay） * 无线投屏器 * HDMI 视频旋转器 * 海信永久竖屏电视 经过多次反复测试，我确认以下问题都只发生在 Kimi K3 iPhone App，相同设备、相同网络、相同投屏方式下，其他 App 都可以正常工作。 1、进入 Kimi 后，手机直接变成白屏。 投屏到 Sony 电视后，只要打开 Kimi App，电视会显示 Kimi 的横屏界面，但手机却变成一片白屏，无法看到聊天界面。 2、手机无法继续正常聊天。 由于手机是白屏，我无法继续输入文字、复制内容、粘贴内容、查看聊天记录，也无法正常进行后续操作。 例如，我想把 ChatGPT 的回答复制给 Kimi，但因为手机已经白屏，我只能退出 Kimi、重新打开 App、回到聊天记录，再进行复制粘贴，整个聊天流程被迫中断，使用体验非常差。 3、Kimi 会自动切换投屏模式。 Kimi 不会像其他 App 一样保持手机镜像，而是自动切换成自己的横屏桌面版界面，用户没有任何选项可以关闭，也无法切换回普通镜像模式。 4、退出 Kimi 后立即恢复普通镜像。 只要退出 Kimi，打开任何其他 App，例如相机、Safari、微信、ChatGPT 等，电视马上恢复普通 iPhone 镜像。 这说明： * AirPlay 正常； * iPhone 正常； * Sony 电视正常； * 投屏功能本身正常。 只有 Kimi App 会主动改变投屏方式，因此问题来自 Kimi App，而不是 iPhone、iOS 或电视设备。 5、无法兼容竖屏显示设备。 我的另一套设备连接方式为： iPhone → 无线投屏器 → HDMI 视频旋转器 → 海信永久竖屏电视。 由于 Kimi 固定输出横屏桌面版，经过视频旋转器以后，整个页面排版非常不适合阅读，几乎无法正常使用。 建议增加以下功能： 1. 增加普通镜像模式（手机显示什么，电视显示什么）。 2. 增加“镜像模式”和“第二屏模式”供用户自由选择。 3. 即使使用第二屏模式，也请保留手机端完整操作能力，包括聊天、输入、复制、粘贴、查看聊天记录、上传图片、语音输入等功能，而不是直接白屏。 4. 支持竖屏外接显示设备，提高与不同投屏方式的兼容性。 Kimi K3 是我目前非常喜欢的 AI，希望开发团队能够继续完善 iPhone App 的投屏体验。我相信这些改进会让 Kimi 在大屏阅读、学习、办公以及 AI 创作方面拥有更好的用户体验。 感谢开发团队，希望这些反馈能够帮助你们持续改进产品。

Very good with Thinking mode on
Updating my review after discovering Thinking mode needs to be turned on, otherwise it hallucinates all over the place. It can take time to analyse, but i think its worth it. I didnt give it full stars because the app design needs some improvement. Its too easy to prematurely send by accident. iPhone's return button is used to send in the app, and also when trying to amend in the text box its too easy to accidentally send due to tight layout/ proximity of other send prompt button. The ai is great but the app is bare bones and needs some improvement. Bellow is the old review with thinking turned off by default. - I still like it for some things such as writing, but not for information (especially web info). It seems to lose context very easily, and hallucinates too readily. Deepseek and Qwen are my preference against any corporate american ai which are more interested in controlling and manipulating perceptions of truth than genuinely enlightening the user (but still can be good where political and business self interest isn't challenged).
No longer the Kimi I knew
Used to love Kimi for fast and intelligent feedback especially for China based knowledge. However recently they didn’t allow me to upload pictures for parsing anymore and kept telling me to upgrade. Very disappointed with this kind of sales tactics.

Honestly, just not chill with the fact that I typed out a few paragraphs into their bot (the screen it opens to) only to then be prompted to log in. It’s w/e, but don’t you think you shoulda had me log in before trying to get me to use the app? Feels like you’re holding the answer hostage. A small tweak would totally change that feeling.
