What people like
- Easy to find cheap fuel prices
- Digital membership card is very handy
- Simple design and easy to navigate
What they complain about
- Support never actually helps resolve issues
- Login and payment features are broken
- Fuel finder often stops working properly
Good but doesn’t show all products
Good app but would be better if it showed details of car loans also.
Broken
App requires to set a pin number. For the initial input, a keyboard is displayed, for a confirmation, no keyboard and no way to confirm the pin. iPad with all latest updates installed
Needs access to Apple wallet
A great app, but needs access to Apple wallet.
How long?
Are you guys even aware the My Products page has literally never loaded on this app? How do you not know that? How’s do you not fix that?
Not all functionality working
The fuel finder doesn’t work….it used to and now it barely registers any petrol stations.
Great App, but fuel saver function could be improved.
The fuel saver app has a fuel type setting. Can an additional option be added to show Diesel and Premium Diesel at the same time?
Pin request
Every time i log in the app request that i setup a pin number , it don’t remember the old one , I have 2 FA and face id but there not seem to be working because keep asking me to set up a new pin number before let me login . I’m using a iphone , please fix it and provably be a great app.
Wrong charge
A gold member, an incorrect charge of $319, more than 3 months to resolve the issue, no calls from racv with updates, over 17 contacts by me. Totally unsatisfactory
App not working
I was creating account and they are saying please contact us
Thank you as always
The amount of times racv have rescued me and other family members I am forever in debt to the drivers. Always have been kind, honest and empathetic to me. Thank you. Highly recommend
Useless app
Most pathetic app. Can’t accept your login and will not allow you to recover your login
Gift card
Not the main purpose of the app but went to buy a gift card, selected Paypal for payment. A message pops up advising you will be diverted to Paypal for payment and it then just takes you back to the original Benefits screen. Tried a few times but unable to purchase using Paypal though shown as an option. Assume is a bug in the app, would be nice if this can be fixed
Excited to see future improvements
Happy to see the app available and fuel discount is great! Unfortunately when I go into most links they go to the website rather than staying in the app. Looking forward to more functionality being added
Nice app!
Love the benefits and using it to find cheap fuel!
Difficulty signing in
I always have trouble signing in… internet is very scrappy where I live, I’m going to have to call RACV to make my payments as its not happening on the app
Great App!
So easy to navigate and use. Great to have all RACV services in one place. Five Stars
Payments
This app does not allow you to manually pay your bills if payment is missed. It also does not allow you to view what you owe it only tells you that you do owe money.
A great new App from a very good organisation
I’ve been a satisfied member of RACV for 35 years and they have provided excellent service to me and my family over that time. I also like good technology, and this App is well designed and very easy to use. Having a digital membership card is an added bonus as well (1 less physical card to carry).
Can not use the old password ,
When you download this app, it will close your old password, make sure you renew the password and can not use the old one.
V1.0.1 others could learn from!
Great work by the devs to produce this functional good looking app, well done!
Dark mode app icon + design!
Love the functionality of this app, but I’m leaving a 1-star review for now as a bit of a nudge to get a dark mode icon and Liquid Glass support implemented. It’s a great tool, but the icon really sticks out on a dark home screen and breaks the clean, standardized look I’m trying to keep across my phone. I’d love to see it updated with those modern UI touches so it blends in better with the rest of my setup. I’ll be the first to update this to 5 stars once it’s looking a bit more current!
App is here
Glad to see that the app is finally here and looks good
Cheapest fuel servos missing
Not sure why the prices from the cheapest service stations are missing…..
Good features
Great job putting all features in one place and with good design. One suggestion is push notifications for fuel price reductions. That would be super useful!
Unreliable at best
Very disappointing especially in an age where companies want us to use their digital platforms, but those platforms are not equipped to handle upgrades to systems and products. Spent several days sorting out a roadside payment issue that was made through this app. Money removed from my account, a ‘receipt’ sent from RACV to confirm payment. 10days later app still says payment required and no one can find said payment. Once sorted was told it’s a known app issue and they are ‘working’ on a fix but are having trouble. Start employing more staff RACV as I will telephoning my payments in from now on
Fuel finder and discount
Was really quick to get my discount for eg ampol
Useless
Absolute garbage! Updated and paid my renewal 1/8/2025 today is 2/9/2025 and data is still wrong - not showing all my vehicles, drivers etc. Showing that my policy has expired yet they have my money in their bank. None of my nominated drivers have received their complimentary memberships and no one at RACV really cares/ have called RACV several times and none of their IT gurus know how to fix it .
