The app is easy navigate and serves its purpose. More importantly, it felt secure the way my information was gathering so funds were able to be transferred securely to my account.
Pointless information
Firstly, to have an app only to be used one (ie during the sale process of a property) is pretty bad design. But the information available in the app itself is so not useful. It’s got a bunch of information, like a Q&A format that is readily available online. I seriously don’t understand why the app is used and its purpose.
App itself is fine, but PEXA needs to mandate information supply
The app itself seems fine, but it was absolutely pointless during our settlement process. No information was supplied to it, and our conveyancer didn’t use it for bank details, so it was completely pointless. It did alert us when settlement was complete, which was ok, but PEXA really need to make certain information compulsory to be supplied so we actually know what is going on. Otherwise this app has absolutely no purpose to most users.
No information
No information supplied in the app for proof of perchase documents like the new title or rates information. It just says “congratulations you own the property “ 🤪.
Bit disappointed
The last time we bought property, we were able to follow the whole process with a countdown and where it was up to. What’s the point of the app if it doesn’t do anything and representatives don’t use it to communicate?

Pointless app
There is no issues with this app apart from the fact it serves zero purpose. It requires bank level security to serve up a Q&A that could be a web link. There is zero upside to this app existing.

I’m not sure why I’ve been asked to download this app during two purchases as I had no use for it. Unsure of its intention?
Not much of a help
Didn’t find this much helpful. Would like to see more information about how and where the money moved. Who gets how much. Better for traceability. For a seller it just gives you basic dos and don’t.

Total mess of settlement funds
If I could give a minus star I would. We had made our arrangements to have surplus funds put into multiple accounts which conveyancer approved. All clear. Your system asked for confirmation of one account and put all the funds there. Caused multiple problems and family stress

Yeah, not a fan. Generically speaking it does provide you with details about the process you can expect, but unless your solicitor actual inputs any information into it, it says nothing else. It was a complete waste of our $140 (AUD).

Useless app
As mentioned by others, a useless app that I thought would make the settlement process easier. My Conveyancer wanted my bank details in writing then again on the app … so double up of info I needed to provide. No communications were sent through the app, which I had been checking as this was not an easy settlement! It would have been so handy if they were. Not even worth my time downloading it in the first place, but could be useful if people actually used it.
Love the concept but doesn’t work
I’m buying and selling at the same time with the same agent and it’s just impossible to have it work. Would accept my selling property but not my buying one - had to delete and reinstall several times just for it to never work

Served no purpose at all
My conveyancer sent me a link to download the app. Looked great but had no info at all in it relating to my settlement. Could not use it to send my bank details. We settle in 90mins and I just checked it again to see if I could at least see settlement time. Still Absolutely zero info?
Pointless in my situation!!!
I don’t really see the pount in spending money on this app !! It wasn’t used during the settlement process and I was given no choice !! It was just charged to me and held my account details only. Poor form and a money making app for the Law firm..

SHOCKING
The worst experience I have ever encountered. I paid $140 for Pexa on settlement of my house, I have not been able to get 1 document through the APP. I am going to make the biggest complaint to my Solicitor!!! SHOCKING and DISGUSTING!!!!
Devoid of information
As a seller, I wanted to check that the solicitor had entered correct bank details. No, not available. I installed it on day of settlement and there was zero information about progress until completion. All it would say was that I had no tasks. I got no notification of settlement despite permission being given for every notification type.

Total rubbish
If I could give zero stars I would. Please find the moron who developed this app and shoot them. It says I can opt for Face ID. No. It’s a lie. Every time I login I have to go through the whole login name, password, PIN number procedure, and opt for the Face ID. And it doesn’t work. Ridiculous
Why?
Solicitors advised me to use this and it cost me $137. Waste of money. This was of no use to me whatsoever.
