Best Customer Service
I had an issue with my ThermoMaven P2 after a couple of years of use. I contacted the company via their app and described my problem. They went above and beyond not only to solve my problem but in a very responsive and immediate time frame. I was blown away by their excellent service. I highly recommend them not only for an excellent product but for an outstanding service to its customers. In 2026 very few companies can match ThermoMaven!!! BUY THEIR PRODUCTS!!!!

Great hardware flawed software
I have done five long smokes with the ThermoMaven setup. So far none of them are saved properly in my history. Alarm goes off when done telling you to start resting and you press the wrong button (or even the right button) and everything is gone. You have suddenly started a new cook. Your 14 hour history of the cook temperatures are simply gone. Hardware wise, it is great. Long battery life gets you through brisket smokes with ease. Multiple temperature sensors give you confidence. Yes live activities time out on long cooks but that is an Apple limitation and not the fault of the app. If the issues with saving of history is fixed this setup would be perfect. But I can't trust it to save the data so I have to take screenshots often or worry about losing my temp graphs permanently.
Very handy vs wired
The multiple temp trends and dual inside meat vs cook temp is a plus. Several times my smoker has cut off due to my estimated cook times were off and being able to monitor it was very handy.
Never works
I have had it for years, doesn’t hold a charge and I have it on a charger overnight and the probes also do not hold a charge.
How to stop a cook???
Great alternative to the more expensive brands out there but for the life of me I cannot figure out how to make it stop "cooking". As soon as I hit finish it starts over measuring and only stops when I seat the probe in the charger. Once I pull it out again it enters cooking mode again and the app starts measuring time duration again. Where's the dang STOP button please???
Honest review
The thermometers themselves are great! Multiple temperature But the base disconnects so often and the Bluetooth is weak. It’s kinda frustrating.

Annoying
The ap continues to send notifications to me after the cook is finished and the thermometer is turned off. I turn off everything I can think of and still get notified about the temperature the probe is getting which annoyingly is just the ambient air temperature. Obnoxious.
Works well. Falls apart easily.
The system works very well. Be careful cleaning the probes though. Two have just come apart in my hands.
Difficult to use but reliable
Once you figure out how to use it, it works really well. But it is a pain to learn how to use it.

My wife gave me this as a gift. I was disappointed because I wanted one of the other brands. After using it I’m so glad she gave me the ThermoMaven. This thermometer and the app is absolutely fantastic!!

Wonderful remote thermometer.
This is 100% great. I got it synch’d to my phone. Very easy to do that. Then it alerts a little before the meat is ready as it keeps cooking some off the oven/BBQ. When you go to eat, the internal temperature ends up being EXACTLY what you want. Incredible!!!

Not a good product. Wrong calibration on all meats.

This this is awesome.
Inconsistent and poor app experience.
I liked the ideas of a lot of sensors but the app didn’t hold the data and was buggy. Data came back after killing/restarting. And I just want the charts all the time - that’s the value. And then when the stall hit which was totally expected, the estimated time went like 5hrs longer than it should have. That’s just bad design. I want to vibe my own and see if these sensors can really sing with a good app partner.
Thermo probe
Great probes for cooking anything that you’d want to watch an eternal temperature. The app is kinda booty though.

Loving my new ThermoMaven. Accurate temps from my smoker no matter where I’m at. Also really like the ambient temp readout……extremely helpful.

Probe stopped charging after one use. Had for 3 weeks. Garbage

Using it for the first time today smoking a brisket. Will be sending it back to Amazon tomorrow. It disconnects from the base and WiFi every 15-30 minutes. Tried cleaning the probe but didn’t help.

So a 5 pound pork butt makes 6 servings? You wrap the pork at 196 F and let jt rest in foil for at least 3 minutes? Then you slice and serve..? Did AI create this recipe? I’ll stick to my recipe, thanks.
Great product!
ThermoMaven is great, it holds connection as long as you need it, and charges fast. Would love for the probe to be a bit thinner, but it works so well I won’t complain!
