What they complain about
- Enemies get too strong to beat
- Hard to read tiny card text
- Accidentally play cards when trying to look
Fun and fun Enemies
Fun game like the art style and are fun but I wish it could have a another story after you beat it your first time and you can pick two stories to play from, but still a great game
Impossible
I looked at my stats and I have played more than 1500 rounds and it is fair to say that, in the end, I hate this game. I have completed it once each for three of the four characters. I cannot complete it with the fourth. There is no joy. You lose every time. Anytime you need certain cards to be competitive they come out very last. Every ? room turns into a fight when you least need it. I so much want to like this game and I can’t. It is even more of a waste of time than other games because you never win. Waste your time somewhere else that is at least somewhat satisfying.
Clunky on phone
Obviously a great game that’s acclaimed on many platforms but falls short on mobile due to the UI. When trying to view cards descriptions, the cards glitch making it difficult to click out without misclicking. Seems like a simple fix…
Great game, Fix the Cards!!!
Fix the card issue dang it! I’m tired of making the wrong move because the cards are so annoying to handle…uuuuuuggggghhhhh
Needs other ports
Great game, hugely missing ports like Mac and Apple TV, would love a Vision app too.
Fun but hard
I really enjoy the deck building rogue-like aspect of the game, I also think the game is very well made in general. My only complaints is the lack of ways to restore your health and how hard the first boss is. Other than that I recommend you download the game
Horrible rigged waste of time makes phone hot drains battery pls fix

Great game! UI needs tweaked
Super fun and challenging. Just a few UI critiques. Cards should sit higher so they aren’t cut off at the bottom in landscape mode on iPhone and make them BIGGER. Even with 2.5x magnification on my glasses they are tough to read. Just move the characters up a little to make room if needed, there’s a lot of empty space.
Ok😕
Amazing game. starts out fun, but it became boring after a day
Great potential ruined by frustrating card reading
The game play and style are great, but it is SO frustrating trying to read cards. You can only see the top half of the cards, so you can’t read their descriptions without clicking on them individually. Not only that, but doing so frequently makes them get played when you’re just trying to read them.
A High Quality Card Game
This game is a really good card game with depth and a lot of replay value. It’s hard and you loose a lot but that’s part of the experience in its genre.
Terrible, if not THE worst mobile port I’ve ever seen
In a half way decent deck builder, all you have to do is make looking at and using the cards easy, and at the least mid grade satisfying…. However, you decided to make EVERY card in your hand 50% out of screen. This wouldn’t be a problem if when u just tapped on a card to see it, the card description got displayed, but that’s not even close to what happens… No, the card gets stuck half way out of screen, over, and over, and over, and… Even if u drag it out of your hand and all over the screen, your thumb entirely covers the micro sized text description. Even better, while contorting your fingers and hands all over the place just to read what the card does, you’ll find that you’ve inadvertently picked up a different card that no one in their right mind would play. Or, it just uses the card you’ve drug all over the screen for the last five minutes because you can’t see the description, only to find out it wasn’t one you thought it was… and then lose. Controls, animations, and basic functionality for these games are literally amateur level. How did u manage to make this (literally) borderline unplayable?
Fun, but only on steam
I’m trying to work on playing this on my Mac. It’s on steam, which is great. I’d rather keep my progress through my Apple account though. So bummer I guess.
Amazing game - terrible app
I love the game. I love that this is in Apple Arcade. However the controls are abysmal. Accidentally play cards all the time, the card is under your finger so it’s hard to see the details, etc. if that is ever fixed, this would be perfect!
It’s a pass time
Nothing to really get people invested. Can’t collect anything, all your stats go back to scratch if you get eliminated. It’s structured well. Like you can build on it BUT.. this is not a game for the long run.
W game
Amazing rogue like deck builder with unique cards that hint at each other if you think hard enough. Game is not hard if you think ahead
Buy the normal game
This one is intentionally rigged to be more difficult compared to the normal game. This and Balatro.
Amazing game, some interface issues
Game itself is very fun. Lots of mechanics that add depth to the deck builder and very replayable as well. There are some minor issues as to how the game appears on a phone but it does not ruin the enjoyment for me.
Great game - awful controls
Controls absolutely suck. No controller support either is a huge miss for an Apple Arcade title.
Interesting game, bad controls
The game itself has a lot of depth and replayability, but considering that 80%+ of your interactions will be with inspecting or dragging cards, oof. No easy way to consistently and quickly preview a card, sometimes dragging one will pick up another instead, just really, really fidgety. It makes the experience just frustrating enough to not be worth playing, IMO.
best video game ever
Have sunk too much of my life into this. Ridiculously addictive. 10/10
RNG is terrible and enemies are too tough too soon
I’ve played for hours, learning each character and developing strategies along the way, even making it to the 2nd and 3rd floors. Unfortunately, far too many runs have been ruined by poor loot pools hindering me from getting stronger and the enemies are far too deadly even on the first floor. Like, what do you mean that all enemies are gonna hit for 24 damage each and I have no shield cards in my hand? “Oh? It’s because you’ve been too busy trying to survive this whole game because they would’ve killed you each round up until now if I didn’t defend and now all my defensive cards are discarded? Tough luck I guess.” If buffs for enemies didn’t stack infinitely or debuffs weren’t nearly always applied to me every match the game would be more possible. In the end, I don’t have ability to enjoy the game since I repeatedly die before I even defeat the first boss. If you like an unreasonably more difficult version of “Inscryption” then this is for you.
Game is good but problem on IOS
Nothing bad to say about the game, I have it on pc too and enjoy. Unfortunately, on IOS, it’s impossible to leave the game while in combat, because the game recognizes the sliding of bottom screen to be playing a card.
Great game, terrible UI
For a game this fun the user interface is unforgivably bad. There’s no simple way to actually read your cards without risking accidentally playing them, which can ruin your whole turn. Instead of playing the game I spend my time trying to read my own cards in my own hard without playing them or accidentally selecting a different card. The fact that there’s no settings options to change this makes it even more frustrating. It’s like no attempt was made to make the app enjoyable to use.
Interesting but frustrating
It’s not a bad game. But it’s rather frustrating. First, it’s super difficult to work with the cards. It’s impossible to read their effect without dragging them out of the hand. But doing so risks using the card or the game getting confused about what you’re trying to do. Second, act 2’s difficulty is WAY above that of act 1. I’m sure there are subsequent acts, but I doubt I’ll ever see them. Mostly because it’s too frustrating to stick with the game to learn the ins and outs that would be needed to maybe stand a chance at the higher acts.
Noice
Hard yet immensely fun.
No controller support
Not even worth a star absolutely pathetic of game to do this
Great game, could use controller support though
Love this game and have already spent many hours on my phone and on my computer playing it and will spend many more unlocking cards and characters. Tons of fun figuring out strategies that work best with each character. Doesn’t make sense that it doesn’t have controller support. It’s available on the PC version so it should be possible. With phone controllers becoming more mainstream, it should be a no brainer.
Please fix controls
Game is good but the controls are so poor. It is so easy to accidentally play cards when just trying to look at them, and this has been an issue for OVER FIVE YEARS! Really should be fixed by now. Also parts of the UI get cut off near the corners of the screen.
Great game but lacks crucial features
I’ve played through this game for hours on my computer, so when I saw it was available on my phone I was very excited! Only problem is, the ui is incredibly small, and the game lacks controller support. Fantastic game, lackluster port to mobile.
please support Apple TV OS
please support Apple TV OS!!!
Not a good game
Pretty much impossible to get past the second part. Redundancy should be the name of the game.
Average port
Really great game that I’m playing a lot but unfortunately there are a lot of bugs in the iPhone port. Some are just aesthetic bugs which don’t bother me but some interfere with gameplay eg the cards sometimes remain covered up by the bottom of the screen when tapped, and often the daily climb leaderboards don’t load so my score doesn’t get registered. They’re small things but annoying enough that I will get the pc or switch version rather than continuing to play on my phone.
Bad touch optimization
It’s just too hard to play on iPhone. Cards are essentially stuck at the bottom and often too difficult to read or half covered up. You have slide them to the middle to be able to read them and hope they don’t accidentally get slid into play. Icons in the corners blend into the corners of the display, text is often hidden “underneath” the Face ID camera, text size is too small and not adjustable. It’s just poorly laid out for a small display. Other similar games like Hearthstone handle this form factor much much better.
Fun, but save game is broken
This is an engaging and fun game, as I am sure most people have discovered by now. However in this version, save is broken. No matter how you exit, it forgets the last room you were on and makes you repeat it. Also the UI is quirky, sometimes tapping just a little wrong on a card plays it inadvertently, especially if you are trying to read it before play.
>1 year, still love it!
This game is balanced, fun, and has so much replay ability it is actually bonkers. 100% with a try. This is a game I keep installed to play whenever and is super casual. Game saves when you reach the next room, so no worries if you can't commit much time.
Tedious
Game intentionally designs levels to be impossible to beat the first x times. So, it’s not about skill. Just another farm game
Please add Mac support
I would play this nonstop if I could just have it on my MacBook.
UI hampers decent gameplay
The core game seems fun, but it’s basically unplayable on iPhone. The text you need to read - card descriptions, help text, so forth - is minuscule. Like 6px high. Meanwhile 85% of the screen is unimportant stuff or literally blank space. It looks like they took a UI built for a TV and dropped it onto an iPhone with zero changes.
Good game bad controls
The concept is fun, but for a game that realies on touching and swiping, There is far too much incorrect input. For example, when you try to touch and drag a card to see what the text is half The card is hidden, so you can’t read it. And then, sometimes you try to drag a card to attack and an enemy, and for some reason another card plays ruining your turn. Since there is no undo this kind of messes up the game. So three stars.
Easily the best
Have put hundreds of hours into to this amazing game. Can’t wait for the sequel to come out next month!
Horribly rigged game
No fun learning curve and offsetting challenges or availability to strategize to win. At every main boss with every player the computer will cheat beat you by giving itself so much HP you cannot possibly kill it by the time it decides to give itself such strength you cannot possibly defend yourself after you hang on for 400 points and in the last 20-40. Now they are hitting you with 30x2 or 7x6 strikes to wipe you out and start you over. This is how they level you up. WORST GRIND ANTICS EVER… GFY (yeah really) Cannot play a continuous game through proven strategy and tactics and even if you make all the proper choices and upgrades and navigate through the maps for maximum gains with minimal destruction . Wham at the end crush you. Yeah it lets you get through the firet round no problem. Second round every time with a every new character. Crush you man boss… Very sick of Slime that divides itself and makes you so weak you could never possibly defend yourself. Glad i will never squander waste another moment thinking about this game ever again. Already gave it 9 too many hours proving it. Dying on the main boss or slime (like 6 times.:(:(:( At least with magic the gathering style card games you lose through mistaken strategy. Or other dungeon crawl card play. WTF this is…. eat it. Bye Felicia👎👎👎👎👎 Will remember this developer to never play their games.
Quickly becomes tedious
Fun at first, but the boring repetition kills any momentum. Eventually you know within the first three battles if the quest is even worth your time to pursue.
Fun game but nearly illegible
Text is way too small and hidden outside of the screen. Horrible UI/UX experience.
Great game!
Most bad reviews here claim it’s all luck, no skill involved. While luck plays a factor there is a huge amount of skill involved. Take some time to learn how to play the characters and the synergies between the cards and the game is a ton of fun. The daily challenges keep the game fresh BUT the daily is not the same across platforms which is a bummer as most of the online chatter about the dailies does not apply to the apple version.
垃圾游戏垃圾设置
妈的垃圾游戏,什么狗屁怎么设置,给我一堆选项,没有双重确认机制,没来得及看细则还,一碰就自动选中了,脑子进屎了,巨影响体验感,垃圾游戏!
Maybe not on mobile
Love the game but if you can play it on pc or console it is better, it is far too easy on a touch screen to accidentally use a card when you don’t want to, and impossible to preview certain things when you need to. An option to always confirm would help but would make it slower.
Act 2 Ridiculous
Game was kinda fun the first few times, but clearly you aren’t supposed to actually win and keep playing. Way too hard. Deleted this game after 5 tries. So glad it was free and I didn’t actually pay money for this
The Game is Spectacular… the iOS implementation isn’t
Way too many UI issues on this version. I inadvertently play cards all the time while trying to leave the app, or if I change my mind on card choice. It’s very difficult to interact with the bottom of the screen where the cards are due to the iOS interface. They don’t completely ruin the experience but they can definitely ruin a run if you’re not careful. Needs to be addressed. The gameplay is fantastic though, and if they can’t fix it on here, it’s worth trying another platform.
