Wonderfully Replayable
This game was carefully put together to be a little different every time you play. You get a different set of elements to choose from and the stacking of your choices over the course of the run allow you to develop and discover new strategies even after playing many times before. Really great game! I highly recommend it!
Hello???
The game hasn’t worked at all for several months now, and for some reason no one seems to notice or fix it. When I launch it, all I get is a black screen. Restarting the game, reinstalling it, and other actions don’t help. I thought it would be fixed eventually, but apparently nothing will happen without feedback or a complaint. Does Apple even check if the games in their subscription work? This is ridiculous.

Das Spiel macht schon Spaß und man kann einiges an Inhalten freispielen. Dennoch ist es nichts Neues. Das Spielprinzip ist althergebracht und vermittelt zumindest eine gewisse Spielsicherheit.

Initially fun, but quickly becomes impossible. Covenant 1 even with maxed factions is impossible. Impossible games aren’t fun. Deleting.
Cloud save not working
Game is cool but I go back and forth between my iPhone and iPad. For some reason this game has a problem with iCloud. It says it’s because of my phone settings, but the cloud save works with every other app. Oddly it seem to work on my iPad, but not on my iPhone.
Great Deckbuilder Roguelike
I played this game on my PS5 before but I downloaded it on my phone while I was staying at my girlfriends house for a few weeks. Amazing if what you are looking for is a strategic, deep, and difficult deck builder experience with roguelike elements. Every run is a new run with new paths, enemies and cards. Very fun to slowly climb the difficulties until you reach covenant 25.

Großartiges Spiel aber der Port ist mäßig
Monster Train ist eines meiner absoluten Lieblingsspiele. Ich habe so 2000 Stunden auf dem PC. Aber dieser Port ist aber komplett stümperhaft umgesetzt: es gibt immer wieder Menüs die überhaupt nicht auf die Aspekt-Ratio von iPhones angepasst sind. Man kommt aus einigen Menüs gar nicht raus weil der X-Button abgeschnitten ist. Ebenso fehlen Tabs. Das Ingame Archievement-Buch ist komplett unbenutzbar! Wenn man dadrüber hinweg sieht ist dies trotzdem das wahrscheinlich beste iPhone Spiel Allerzeiten! Definitiv das beste Rougelike und Deckbuilding.

Great game, but iCloud save syncing is pretty busted. I downloaded the app on my iPad and lost all my progress and unlocks from my iPhone. My run history is still all there, but I’m back to level 1 on the two starter clans.
Awesome
Very fun card playing game, especially for someone starting out playing rpg games like these. Not that it isn’t challenging, but it is easy to understand concepts that are in the game.
Horrific lag
In a run, around the time the second main boss comes around. The game will have become so laggy that it *will not close*, that’s right. I can’t even close the game it is lagging my entire device so badly. This game would legitimately be four stars if not for this, it is an incredibly fun experience that is worth your time. But in its current state, your ability to progress will stagnate as the lag grows and grows.

Crashes on iPhone 13
Would give it more stars probably but crashes on iPhone 13 at the same point. Tried playing 4 times and it crashed. There is also an issue that it heats the phone up a lot and eats the battery. So not really optimised for a mobile device.

Nostalgic though new
I remember watching one of my favourite YouTubers playing this years ago (lathland) and thinking how cool it looked. It sat in the back of my mind for years now, so finally getting to play it was a both a blast and a bit of a let down. It was truly interesting to play and I do really enjoy the gameplay. However, I must unfortunately say that, when you’ve played one card based turn by turn strategy-dungeon game, they start feeling quite same-y. However, I think that’s less of a fault of the game and more the fault of the market. TLDR: Nice game. I’d strongly recommend it, but if you’ve gotten very saturated with similar card based turn by turn games, this one can wait until you’ve gotten a good break from all the other similar titles. Thanks so much for making such a nice game!

Didacticiel et UI ratés. Je ne comprends rien, je ne m’amuse pas, ça me donne une mauvaise image du jeu. Pas du tout envie de continuer, j’ai abandonné et supprimé l’app.

Makes the game basically unplayable at the moment
Pretty game but limited play styles.
At first the game looks like it requires strategy but it’s always the same - find your gimmick and boost one unit. A lot of wasted pontential, just stick to STS.
Game seems buggy
I finished run, and run history shows my two. How ever, next time I loaded, it showed me as part way through my first tutorial run, and I seem to be level 1 with no so in the two factions despite having two runs in history. Not sure if the sync across devices messed up something?

A great game completely ruined by an iCloud bug that the devs have know about for a year. If you open the game on more than one device it completely wipes your progress. Just hopeless.

Joguei umas 5 partidas no iPhone e quando fui continuar no iPad meu progresso foi zerado. Quando voltei pro iPhone também estava zerado. Espero que corrijam isso logo.

Good
I was having fun, and unlocked a few things on my phone, I then tried to play on my iPad and couldn’t get the save to transfer, and it’s ended up wiping my unlocks on my phone now, with no warning. And yet, I still see my past games in Run History with clans that I supposedly haven’t unlocked. Unfortunately this has kind of killed my interest in the game.
