Search feature SUCKS
Ive been a subscriber for a long time and finally canceled out of frustration. A couple of years ago Scribd changed its search feature. It says you can search by author, title or topic but you cannot. It only returns categories. The search feature sucks.
Love it but have some ideas
I love scribd but i think i can be able to download a paper in app too.
They keep charging đĄ and I have no access
I used scribd about 2 months ago and payed for the month. It was online and then, I downloaded the app. Even though Iâm using the same email account for the app, it doesnât recognize that Iâm paying. I canceled the subscription and itâs still charging my account. What can I do?

Great app
This app gives you access to so many resources itâs amazing
BEWARE: Immediately $17.11 charge when you sign up for âfreeâ trial
Free trial is a joke. The second I initiated the free trial I got a bank notification that $17.11 had been charged to my account. First of all the subscription fee itself was only touted as $11.99 so why am I getting a 43% up charge definitely not just taxes added on. I wouldâve rather spent that money towards the real book I was trying to read instead if I knew I was going to be charged. Absolutely livid do not use this app.
Ramaneeyam
Given the whole book in kinige website but that website is not opening outside India. Please provide alternative way to read continuation of the books. Some books which are mentioned with websites like kinige.. unable to read when we are outside of India. Kindly, Please look into that.
Unable to log into my account
I was subscribed to Scribd before it branched into two different services. I am disappointed as the âSing inâ buttons and links within the app (iPhone) do not work (nothing happened when I click on them). There is no way to use the app.
Subrayado
Fix the app please
Scribd is my favorite app of all time for documents and everything. Iâm willing to pay monthly if you allow me to have an active subscription.
Not at all what it used to be
Iâve been subscribed to scribd/Everand for about 10 years. They split apps a few years ago but atleast the functionality was there. Now everything is limited or requires some other plan. I canceled my subscription. Just buy the books elsewhere for cheaper

Impossible to cancel it
I saw immediately this was not for me, but another app I used wanted me to download it for free to use in conjunction. I cancelled it during the âfreeâ trial but still got billed for it. Be very careful before downloading
Working
This app itâs good working but the problem I get about it itâs that Im not see any results when I try to search for any pdf
Canceling is a joke
The app and the web browser will not let you cancel your account. They will continue to charge you even though you have asked for it to be canceled.
A bit hard to find things but still a gold mine
I love Scribd and Everand, although in Scribd it's often tricky to find the things you want due to a poor indexation. But if you are skillful enough, it's a total gold mine full of gems.
Useless
I downloaded the app to make it easier to download documents. However the app doesnât download PDFs. It downloads a .txt file that is basically nothing.. so in order o to download a proper readable file I have to go to the website anyways. The app looks nice though. I just wish it could function properly.

Fraudulent practices
Continued to charge my credit card months after cancellation, I came to find out hundreds of customers had filed complaints for same thing, it is completely fraudulent behavior do not give them your credit card information
App good but sometimes gets stuck
Sometimes, it doesnât open a document. You have to wait and try another time but otherwise good App, lots of material to read on it and on Everand. Hope they fix the issue. Thanks
Amazing Company
I was charged for the monthly subscription but after requesting refund, they fully refunded with an understanding attitude. Also I did enjoy using this app when I used it. I recommend.
Scam
I have cancelled over a year ago. I kept getting billed even though I reported my card if fraud through my bank and they issued me a new one with a new number. I emailed support because they donât have a phone number (convenient) and they said my account has been cancelled way back in 2024. I just got charged again on the 30th. I am beyond frustrated. I am reaching out to a lawyer because this is insanity and Iâm not the only one this is happening too. Class action lawsuit âŠget ready scribd or whatever you want to call yourselves these days
No la recomiendo
Muy mala app no hay libros completos!
Why multiple apps ?
I liked it better when it was all in one app! Not sure why it changed and now I have more then one. Also itâs not letting me opt out of cookies. It disappeared as soon as I went to click them off ! No longer able to view in app on my iPad. Why do you not support older iPads ? The purpose of having an older one still was to read on it. Now I canât do that and canât see on my phone to read. Allowing people to use on iPad Air 2 would be helpful. Use to love the app but not so much anymore
Material extenso
WHY THERES PORN IN THE APK? Is actually crazy deleted that
Trash
No issues what so ever! Thank you for your hard work.
DONâT DOWNLOAD THIS APP
Donât sign up for the free trial. It says you wonât be charged anything for a free month, but when I canceled, a $1 transaction appeared. It was refunded within a minute, showing that I had received a refund. However, later I was charged twice for $1.50. I hope they donât take money from my account again without my consent, because this time it was $3, but they could take more from someone else.

Superb for book reading, research and digging out some rare onesâŠ
I have been using Scribd and now its split into two separate apps, for more than 4 years now. Solid for what it says on the tin. I found some rare gems and its sheet music catalog is total game changer, especially even more so for a musician such as myself. I donât think any other platform coalesces and consolidates magazines, podcasts, reading material, slides, research papers, sheet music and mainstream stuff so adeptly. You need to make the most of such resources while at hand. I changed from the Dubai store to another country for billing convenience and prices are so different. Highly recommended, its like iTunes for book nerds.
Paywalled
Too expensive.
