What people like
- Content quality is genuinely amazing
- Teachings help change your life
- Free version offers great value
What they complain about
- App crashes and freezes constantly
- Customer support never actually helps
- Prices are too high for what you get
- Constantly pitches you to buy more stuff
Great
I only checked the free version of the app out, but did so thoroughly. It was very informative and I was very impressed with the quality of the content. I am just not able to afford the price, I’d say it’s worth every penny and much more. Maybe they could have a drawing for people like me every once in a while. One day I’ll be able to join.
A waist of money!
You get NOTHING from these ‘takers’ unless you like throwing your money out a window!
Making good progress!
However, having trouble today posting on the Regan Hillyer manifestation class forum. Looking for your help, support, or admin links. As of today, still in the trial phase. I’m doing all the homework and lessons just fine. Looking forward to meeting some new people and making new friends.
My main course disappeared
I have had joined years ago as I wanted to buy wildfit and all courses were offered and been renewing subscriptions but now the Eric Erneades’ wild fit is removed and I was still re watching it and trying again to keep with it.
App glitches
App glitches and becomes blank and indicates no membership when I have one
Your best guide
This is an amazing app , that give me the opportunity to learn how take better decisions in my daily
Just a Sales Funnel
1- Too many sales emails 2- Too many ads within app 3- No customer service 4- Everything is old 5- political emails I joined thinking it would be this great space, but it’s mostly a sales page constantly pitching you to spend more money, you can’t filter to only see what you have access to… because it’s actually a funnel. I saw upcoming live events so I stayed, excited for something live, 99% is old static programs, only to find out they aren’t adding anything new and burry that fact deep within the landing page… so, if you can show up live for four hours straight great, otherwise too bad. Since joining I’ve received sales emails nearly every day, or emails that are “America sucks” and “trust AI”… heavily politically driven which doesn’t feel aligned with the space or who they claim to be. If you decide to join, I’d really test the waters during the first two weeks so you know if you want to stay or cancel. Lastly, customer service is horrible, they don’t respond to emails and their chat support is 100% AI. I’ve canceled and don’t see myself returning after this experience.
I would have give the app a 5 stars, but then it took a dive
I have had the app for nearly 2 years. I am unlearning a lot of behaviors. And I am learning more about myself. I am 68 going on 38. I love MindValley. But this last glitch is keeping from accessing the programs I have finished, but want to review. It is even effecting the new programs. The suggestion inform google is to delete the app, Reset the phone and download the app anew. Wish me luck! Or I will be back!
“Mastery” quests no longer included. Questionable integrity.
For the cost of $400 per year you wouldn’t really expect that a whole level of quests are now not included. The”Mastery” tab has appeared in the app. A large number of quests are now “not available” unless you are willing to pay an additional $200 per mastery quest. What does this say about the non-mastery quests? The all-in-one nature of the subscription was one of its main selling points for me. I understand (but still don’t agree) if they wanted to charge extra for live courses. However there’s no real excuse for blocking old recordings. Even recordings from the previous year are no longer accessible to “non-mastery” users anymore. I had been working my way through one of these quests. Which are now not available. The rest of the app (ie what’s still included for the very expensive annual subscription fee) is starting to feel increasingly sparse and neglected as more and more effort is going into the “mastery” -and other pay-extra, sections. I really hope they re-think this strategy. It’s not a good way to treat customers. I will definitely be cancelling my subscription. This sentiment isn’t really- yet- being reflected in the reviews on the App Store. It is elsewhere. I think sometimes millionaire CEO’s can start to live in ivory towers, ironically (especially in this case) getting swept up in their own narratives about how great they are. Forgetting that people are struggling all over the world. Finances are strained for the majority of people. The users are the people who make the app. Who the business depends on. I hope the decision makers don’t lose sight of this and don’t lose sight of why they made the app, the business in the first place.
Close caption
It was good at first. The one I was able was closed caption. Saw another and not closed caption. Pretty disappointed. Give those different life growth accessible.
Success
So many programs to select from. I have done 2 recently that have changed my life for the better.
Change iPad version
Hello, excuse me everything is awesome but on iPad version I can’t change speed of playing. Please fix it. It’s important.
Great concepts poor execution
App is very buggy. Some programs are amazing some are poor. Both results in inconsistent and disappointing experience
Transform the App
Amazing content / programs (5 stars) - app performance is frustrating. Continues to miscount streak days, freezes, loss of saved content. (3) stars
An App? No, The Infinite at your fingertips
Most of us are very smart, but we we lack the Tools-to transform ourselves. Intelligence is not Wisdom! MindValley, unlocks those keys that you are looking for to be your best version!!!
Careful, cost more than you think
I thought it was a one time payment of under $100 but they have charged me over 300 and I am contesting this payment. Be very careful if you order. Thieves, scam artist here.
Boy
Enjoying the content. A bit difficult to navigate, there is flagrant solicitation in some comments that is annoying.
meh
would be good if it was cheaper not rly worth the money when u can get this on youtube
Great content, app full of glitches
As a personal growth enthusiast, I would say the content is just phenomenal. As a software developer, I would say the app is full of glitches in all their versions. It also lacks basic functionality you would expect. They either have no QA team or product owner, or they just execute very poorly.
Blessing
It is been a blessing. I recommend this app to all the people that are ready to change their life. If you are looking for a sign … here you have it ✨
Access
Most of the meditations I’m interested in are not available based on my subscription and I am not advised how to improve access
Bot users must go!
Great content, great AI highly recommend. The only reason it did not earn 5 stars is because there are bot users advertising scams and commenting on discussion on a platform where a lot of vulnerability is encouraged. The bots and scams refrain me from sharing personal stories because I do not feel it is safe and secure platform.
Not available on all devices
I can get access to the whole program on the phone but not on Apple TV . If finish a lesson and want to look at another one Apple TV the first program keeps playing have to get out of the whole course to stop it how do I get just one language on Apple TV ?
App freezes
I have found on all three quests that I can get so far then the app freezes and I can’t continue the quest. This is frustrating. I hope this is fixed soon
Wonderful
Absolutely worth the money. So much growth.
Needs an upgrade
Great, but terrible tech in the background. I signed up with my Apple ID after being away from this app for years and had nothing but issues. How can a platform this robust not offer people more effective help because the fix has to be done on the back end I went down my own tech rabbit hole, trying to fix it and could not because it had to be done on their end. So I couldn’t access the app.
Mindvalley strives for amazing app but…
It’s constantly full of bugs and things that are irritating like right now for a few weeks now my app isn’t registering that I’m completing lessons it’s just stuck on 0. Also if you swipe up and leave the app whilst playing a video, when you go back to it you can’t just resume playing, you have to quit the whole quest, click on lesson again and usually it’ll start from the beginning as well. These little really annoying things shouldn’t be happening. Otherwise the content is absolutely mind blowing and incredible but come on FIX THE APP.
New app update don’t play daily meditations anymore
I updated the app yesterday and most of the daily meditations don’t play anymore. They open as usual, push play button and nothing happens. Disappointing.
Confusing
I ordered the extra with vixen but have not seen or know how that is accessible - waisted money for that I think
Truly Enjoying Every Moment
Fun, fascinating, excellent, wonderful.
Total waste
I paid for subscription and there was no discovery session and just more people instructors selling their services. Do not waste your money
Good
Great app ! I learned a lot from Mindvalley , some of the courses outside of the membership range are very expensive.
App doesn't work properly
I was using this for past 2 days and this morning I'm trying to use it but app doesn't seems to work properly.
Great programs, buggy app
Content is fantastic and very helpful. Unfortunately I have found over the last couple months that the iPad app is consistently buggy, it’s hard to click through to courses etc. Hope the Mindvalley team can fix these problems with the iPad app so that I can improve my rating 😉
LOVE IT
Wow! Pretty awesome. Lots of amazing content that you can put it to practice right away and see results.
Very Glitchy and no customer support
Very disappointed in this as no programs load either on website or through the app. Currently trying to get a refund. Customer support has been non existent :( Paid for membership and couldn’t even login to activate the refund when trying to reach out never got a response or help.
Very valuable content - however app needs lots of updates
I love Mindvalley and the course. I have found great value in the way the teachings have added to my life through simple daily routines and investing 15-30 mins watching videos and doing meditations and exercises. I’ve been using it for over a year now. Highly recommend. However, my one complaint is that the app needs major updates. Lots of bugs like the discussion sections as well as navigation and saving your courses. They really need to invest in tech support and customer service as no one gets back to you either. Otherwise, I love the content.
My thoughts
I’m finding it ok, but most you get off YouTube with adds for free. While I have felt a slight difference. I’m still exceedingly low in myself
Way too expensive
I appreciate there’s a lot of content but £85 a month, and £500 a year is ridiculous for an app.
The Future of Social Media
Soon and very soon the toxicity allowed to thrive on mainstream social media is going to lead people to actually jump ship when something better (like Mindvalley) comes along to offer something better: a place to heal and learn and grow in a community of people who are eager to do the same. Well done, Mindvalley.
Pronlems
Exited I appended your new IA but can’t use it. It freezes
Question
Is there free parts to the app?
Far more interested in selling more programs
The programs themselves seem good, but the app is not particularly intuitive. Mindvalley seems far more interested in selling you new programs than it is in giving easy access to what you’ve already bought.
Doesn’t work well on iPad
When you load a program, the lessons won’t load. Sometimes if you click on resources and go back, the lessons load. But that doesn’t always work. I don’t have those issues on my iPhone but can’t use it on my iPad which isn’t great specifically when using the fitness programs.
RAPID TRANSFORMATION THERAPY. ERASE YOUR BS AND WRITE ABUNDANCE CODE
Merissa Peer is a God sent. RTT helps you erase the BS CODE and install a CODE OF ABUNDANCE AND CONFIDENCE. $250 INVESTEMENT made a $10,000,000 Business man.
App doesn’t work properly
My app isn’t downloading any content and I can’t speak with anyone to get it resolved. When I try to login online (not the app) it just goes on loop and won’t login. Nothing is working.
Inaccessible app without any customer service
I am visually impaired, and the app is not accessible with my screen readers. I love to use it, and I have paid a few hundred dollars that I’m not able to completely benefit from. Therefore I should cancel, but there is no real customer service whatsoever to do so.
Please remove the music
Ever since the new update where you can listen to music in the background of your course, I cannot listen to the audio of my course. I would like the option to just listen to the audio of my course. Can you fix this??
Great content but videos not playing on app or browsers
Awesome content but the videos don’t play on the app or browsers :( I’ve read all the support articles and re-installed the app and updated OS.
