ERROR BARS PLEASE
PLEASE ADD ERROR BARS
Still Can’t drag cursor
Really annoying that when making a correction in the data entry box the cursor can’t be dragged and dropped into the relevant point in the formula. Only way to correct or update is to delete and retype the whole expression.
I am not able to lock my all flies on iPad 9 generation
I’ve been trying to lock my files on my iPad, but they are not been able to talk. They are saying it’s it’s error 16. Please show it to a customer care support.
Where is Copilot integration?
By now we should have the Copilot integration on the Office365 apps on the mobile phone. This seems to be a disconnect between the AI features in the cloud. And the Office365 apps.
The most full featured and powerful spreadsheet app for the iPad
If you're familiar with Excel, or you need some of the more advanced features, the iPadOS app does a pretty good job. Most people can use Google sheets or other free spreadsheet products and they'll be quite happy. It's great to see that Microsoft has added some useful features to the iPad app such as conditional formatting. I hope they continue to add additional desktop features to the app. Given the power of M series chips, there's really no reason not to (other than fear of cannibalizing desktop sales). Of course, if Apple would let us run macOS as a boot alternative to iPadOS, that would be even better, but I doubt that will happen. Anyway, Excel is a great product. Having used it for 30+ years in business, I find the iPad app meets my needs probably 99% of the time. Occasionally, a really large or complex spreadsheet will need to be done on my Windows 11 PC, which, ironically, is less powerful than my iPad. I suspect the limitation is probably iPadOS and Microsoft has done a pretty good job including a good selection of capabilities. The iPhone app is more useful for viewing just because of the size of the platform. I find that a 13 inch iPad, and even an 11 inch iPad, do a great job with most spreadsheets. If you need Excel, I think you'll be pretty happy using it on an iPad.

Don’t bother unless you have multiple email accounts. Identify theft at its finest.

Love the desktop version, mobile app version needs more features.
Excel helps me to excel
I took a class on the fundamentals and bought self teaching books for more advanced learning. It’s been very useful in almost every field of employment and the reason for most of my promotions. It not only makes data useful and easy to navigate, it also makes it look good.
Automatically Saves to One Drive
Giving it one star because I know why. You shouldn’t trust Microsoft with your files.

Back to GREAT👍
Update: 22nd Aug 26 ‘Recent’ is now not chronologically listed. Update: 17:00 1st May 26 Back to no files shown intermittently! Update: Reinstall sorted the problem. 1st May 26, as of this morning there’s no link to my Microsoft account from my iPhone. Can’t add my One Drive storage account. Works fibre on iPad. Both devices are up to date on iOS and Excel App. This latest update has sorted the lag that has been an issue for weeks. Strangely I don’t recall doing this specific update, but it’s working.

One issue after another
MS fixes one issue, breaks something else. Very inconsistent when entering or editing information. Sometimes long press to move cursor works, sometimes not. Sometimes the formula bar has the “x” and “check” on the right side, sometimes not.

Evaluation
Convenient to use
On screen keyboard bug
Frequently the on screen keyboard fails to appear when clicking to edit a cell. Force quit and relaunch doesn't fix it. Only phone restart. VERY ANNOYING!
Cell editing is fixed
V2.112 cell editing works on iPhone & iPad Spacebar does sometimes work, although does tend to select words rather than move the cursor. Older versions Can select a word within a cell via double tap, but cannot move character by character.
Macros unable
In window 11 system ask to go to settings in particular excel file then unable macros after that file opens, but in this why cant that option not seen, why?
Slow to update
a spreadsheet that is regularly update on a pc, does not open the latest version if viewed on my iPhone. You have to open & close several times before it updates.

Infected by Copilot
Now that Copilot icon has replaced the hourglass, it takes 5x longer to search within a spreadsheet than before, and I fear my data is at risk of breach
Flag Emojis Broken
The England, Scotland, and Wales flag emojis appear as black flags, except when you tap on the cell to edit it (?)
Bugs, am giving up !
Logical "IF" statement in my large worksheet is suddenly not working ! =IF(A1="BOY",999,222) gives wrong result, but correct result with exactly same formula in another worksheet ! Use too many "if" statements to check everyone so giving up ! So many hours wasted for nothing.
Features Missing
Many useful and common features of Excel are missing in iPad version. Need to see these all features in iPad version of Excel as I have paid same amount for the license. But Excel cannot be used to its potential. Pivot to full extent, Data, Drop Down (list) etc. common mostly used features missing.
Organize be spreadsheet
I have a horrible compulsion. When I purchase something I don’t buy just one item. Case in point: my AccuQuilt die collection, somewhere between 500 - 600 dies. My cd collection is somewhere between 250 - 300 music cd’s My presser foot collection for my embroidery / quilting machine. My embroidery hoop collection is more than I need. My material My sewing machine needles, My cook books My quilting magazines …..and so on…..
Why remove features
They removed the ability to change change worksheet while editing a cell. They did this the same time the add the useless ai system.
Does its job but has more to go
Excel for iPhone is a decent app that delivers productivity gains. It’s shortcomings are in the UI and in slowness of navigation, to use, and general layout.
Usually good, lost access to OneDrive
Usually a decent app for excel access on the go but recently refuses to allow one-drive access while this still works on all other MS apps.
