Simply frustrating to use
The iPad Pro theoretically should be powerful enough to do so much more. However, after using AutoCAD for iPad, truly this was an afterthought. It’s so frustrating to use.i figured I would use a keyboard and mouse and hope the experience would be better, but no. It should just be used as a viewer and that’s it.

So sick of 2 form authentication
I need to remember a username, password and receive a text message to just to check that yup that wall dimension is 16’10” there are much lighter and faster CAD viewers, now if you want to draw a whole assed house I guess this might be better…
Optional
So getting into the drawings are fun, but when it comes to color shaping i feel its hard for my stylus to capture the stuff at hand. I feel that this makes life easier working remotely and having time to roam and play cad drawing when i can or on the move.

¡Cuidado! Quieres un visualizador de DWG adelante (Sin pagar suscripción). Pero para editar es malísimo, no es ni básico, mucho menos profesional. No puedes copiar dibujo de un archivo a otro (olvídate de tus plantillas, o de reciclar dibujos anteriores); No existen las funciones tan básicas como: “Stretch” ó “Copy Basepoint”… simplemente esto no es AutoCAD, es una herramienta incompleta, y aun así tienen el descaro de cobrar suscripción.

Polar Array and Arabic Text Support
Polar Array, is it available or will it be available soon in AutoCAD 2024 app updates for Android or iOS? Also, will you fix the AutoCAD problem with Arabic text? It is still not supported, inverted and incomprehensible on the phone and computer before and after exporting to PDF!
Backwards and unintuitive if you use CAD on a computer
This program is backward in the controls in most things I tried. It’s almost like the group who designed this never talked to the people who make the real AutoCAD software. Totally unintuitive, and a waste of time.
What happened to create a new drawing?
I’ve had this app since day one. I noticed with the current version the ability to create a new drawing is missing. It used to be there.

Changes to locally opened files vanishes
When I modify a .dwg file opened via “Files App”, its changes are not saved to the original file. Instead, a file of same name with “-1” suffix appears on the recent list on AutoCAD, which however, doesn’t open. So, all the changes are gone.

吓得那么多字体没一个用得上。
Close, but still very lacking for the price.
This is a great step in the right direction, you can draw most simple objects with the same desktop commands, however, there are a lot of features that just simply don’t work in this version. Dimensions being one of them, there is no way to scale dimensions once a drawing is created, what they are is what you get, might be fine for small designs. But if your drawing is large the dimensions will likely be tiny. Exporting is also made intentionally difficult. I’ve been fighting through this for 2 years now, I’ll likely be moving on.
21st century tools

Good but frustrating
I think this app needs lots of things to be as super as its name .. I love AutoCAD/pc version but honestly i bought a Magic Keyboard and Magic Mouse to use them with this app on iPad Pro 13” .. but I was filled with disappointment, there are a few things to do with a few commands. Question about support
Now that 2024 AutoCAD for Mac is native Apple Silicon compatible and the iPad Pro has the same M2 SoC as the Macs, will you port the full version of AutoCAD to the iPad. Both the M1 and M2 iPads have 8GB or 16GB of unified memory and can use up to 16GB of virtual memory swap.

I have had AutoCAD as a program on computer for many years. This App is very nice to have on my IPad an less cumbersome. It is very easy to use.
Not a free viewer - requires a subscription
After searching the web the App Store link was listed as a def file viewer (free) - even reviews say it is free. It is not a free viewer.
High learning curve
I have been using AutoCAD since Summer 1987, version 1.2. While AutoCAD has v22 has tremendously more options and features, it is still not user-friendly. Expect to spend d a whole lot of time cursing and swearing at AutoDesk because they keep moving commands around.

When are we going to be able to do basic functions like. HATCHING, input from a keyboard, many people would like to use this app on the go? I know this is a mobile app. How many years until basic AutoCAD features will be added? Seems like it’s taking a long time. Allot of bug fixes - but what we need it for functionality. I would have to believe that most users would want at a minimum LT version of AutoCad features on this mobile app. Help Autodesk - explain why its taking so long to do something you already have had for over 30 years on IOS and Windows.

Very nice app for school
Uh we do technical drawing in school and this is my last exam as I’m dropping the class doing assignments on this thing is too stressful but if you like architecture or plotting drawings online this app is amazing but I hate the subject

While opening an Autocad dwg file on app after loading till 90%… the application itself getting crashed / closed… unable to find at least view of the drawings.

HOW do I adjust scaling for dims viewing?
Since I’ve only just started using AutoDesk’s CAD for iphone, I’ll rate this around half, a little less than satisfied. I can probably use it more because I took an engineering course in vocational college, but I can’t ask them for help, they’re closed. I’m using auto CAD for mechanical drawings ONLY, with one project measured out mostly in inches averaging less than a foot in length. But the default settings seem meant for architectural, with the viewing window in THOUSANDS of units. So when I apply a dimension measurement, the text isn’t visible (because its offscreen) until I zoom out the viewing window to the point where I can’t see the drive gear I’m measuring! Also, I’d prefer to get notations in fractional inches if I can, but I found a conversion chart for that.
Needs an upgrade!
Tends to lag behind on improvements and compatibility… should catch up with other apps on the field. Thank you for your interest

Too buggy
When you’re charging a high price for an app make sure it’s stable. Crashing is too often. Can’t open the file every now and then. Tried everything like reinstalling, restarting. I siggest you to make this a completely free app if the quality is this bad.
Crashes When Saving
I did a lot of work and tried saving and CAD crashes on my phone. Everyone I would save work progress (testing), it crashes. It’s very frustrating. App is good besides that. Plus: Any help on this would be great.

ACAD is running so slowly that it’s almost unusable in the latest version. (It’s slow on my pre-M1 iPad pro, at least) So slow you can watch the drawing routines execute on the screen as the app slogs through them! Old workflow: use ACAD directly on the iPad to enter site data. New workflow: write data by hand on paper and enter it on a portable computer that runs fast and has functions like trim/extend for speedy drawing. Output pdf back to iPad, do concept development in another app. Something’s broken.
