Feature upgrade
I love this app, so I paid for the premium! I have been using it for years, I feel like a new feature would make this app even better. Adding a beautification on the writing would make note taking so much more appealing.

Real potential
I use a MetaPen on my iPad without issue, but as I investigated your planners I had an issue with my resting palm interfering with the pen. It doesn’t happen in any of my other apps. Tested with my palm completely off the glass and it wrote fine (but legibility went down as I can’t write that way). When my palm is down I get broken up lines with my letters vs smooth text. So, I can’t use your planners yet. Hopefully will be fixed before the new year.

It’s really hectic and lengthy process to take screenshots than copy and paste to notes feature like Samsung notes can enhance productivity of the app
Suggestions
I very recently switched to my iPad to start taking notes for uni and so far Collanote has been my favorite app to do so! I like to import slides from my lectures to take quick notes but I’d like to be able to select multiple slides to delete a few quicker rather than going in one by one to delete. Maybe also subsections/groups within the slides/pages would be useful to organize. Like if I could put pages 1-5 in one group and pages 6-10 in another if that makes sense. While still being able to scroll through all of the pages. I’m still exploring features and am quite new but overall it’s been great! I’m considering getting the premium subscription!

Great app but…
I love the app. I’ve been using it for years, but lately my writings will mysteriously disappear. I’ll write a note, close it out, and when I come back to it, the last few words are missing or part of a word is missing.

Colour given is unmatch just like you can't find orange colour make laser pen also kind of attractive as same as goodnotes, make it available to attach video on notes as we do add photo. Make pages foldabe side wise it gives book like appearance. Much easy to learn and retain for longer time than that of scrolling.

Honestly, I NEVER write reviews for applications. But I have used this app since I started college 6 years ago. I used the free app some in high school too, and bought it as a gift to myself when I graduated. I’ve tried other notes apps and none of them compare. I love the pens/paper options and the laser pointers for when I’m presenting. Watching this app bloom into its current state has been super cool as the features and functionality increase. (I would love to be able to change the view to be two pages side by side, it’s the one thing I think it’s missing!)

I like this app, but I so badly need to be able to change my paper colors from white. Dark mode seems to only apply to my file screen and won’t change pages. If you guys do another update soon, please consider letting us choose our own paper colors. Thank you! Update: I figured out where to change colors, but it was just showing a blank color wheel, so I closed, reopened, and it’s showing up properly now!

Great app, One suggestion
I suggest adding different sized pages, more specifically a very large or infinite one. Sometimes it can be hard drawing complex diagrams, writing long equations, etc given a small page width or length. Giving us flexibility when it comes to page size will help organize thoughts and notes better.
App not working properly
CollaNote is a good app for note-taking, but there are still some issues that need to be fixed. While typing, my text sometimes gets erased automatically, and some of the tools do not work properly. There is also no proper Hindi language/typing option, Please improve these issues in future updates.
Good app but needs to take care of a few bugs and add new features
It was a very good app when it was launched. 1) Please add the features to import PDF into an existing note 2) Some strokes just go missing while writing and specially in Maths the answer changes completely! 3) apple pencil scribble to erase doesn't work as smoothly as in other note taking apps. 4) There was earlier a feature where I could customise the folder/file cover for easy identification which was very helpful when you have numerous notes but that seems to have disappeared.Please bring it back🙏 5) A tape or masking feature to cover the solution to a question or quiz while teaching and uncovering it to take the discussion further.Its there in another app I use and it's really helpful. 6) While circling a word many a times it turns into a heart which gets awkward specially while in class. Wishing the developers and the team continued success.
A Suggestion
I love this app and have been using it for school for a year now. But one thing I’m worried about is losing all my work in case the app ever gets deleted. I think it would be super nice if there was a feature where we can sign in using our email and have all our notes saved there. This way, everything will be saved in our email. Im really scared about losing my notes if I ever buy another iPad.
Bug
It frequently happens that when I am writing something down, and then I minimise the tab and go to some other app like Instagram and scroll for a bit and I come back to my CollaNote tab, then the thing gets erased. The things I have written, most of them has gotten erased like if I have done 10 lines, it gets erased and only one or two lines are remaining. This is happening very frequently. Please fix this bug.
kind of hard to use
I've been eating an app that is good at keeping things organized so when I started using CollaNote, I was like hooray something that will help me stay organized. It's cute and not like confusing but then when I went over to the planner sections, it did not make much sense on how you can get one without having a sub subscription and when I try to make one for mine for the new school year, I have to like get the subscription so I think there should be an easier way like just one 365 day calendar that's for free and if there is, I would very much like to know how thank you very much
Don’t install this app if looking for free apps on iPad!!
If u have extra money which u want to waste on a planner please go ahead and install but if you r looking for free apps don’t be cuss most of things planner , notebooks etc require premium plan! And only 1-2 requires free 2 is the max not more than 2 you will find on free side 😓😓

I first downloaded the app and used it so often I purchased the premium version the app has had many helpful updates. The only thing I struggle with is the favorites being in my way on the side of my notes it would help if there were an option to move them at least to the left and right or possibly left, right, up, and down.

Insert PDF Pages into Existing Notes
I would love to see an update that makes it possible to insert a PDF, or specific pages from a PDF, directly into an existing note/document that I created in the app. Currently, I understand that I can import a PDF and add notes or additional pages to it. However, I would also like the opposite option ,while creating a regular note, I should be able to insert a PDF or selected PDF pages into that note and continue writing or adding annotations around it. For example, if I am taking notes for a class and want to include a few pages from a textbook, worksheet, or presentation, I could insert those PDF pages directly into my existing notes and then write additional notes before, after, or alongside them. This would make it much easier to keep everything related to one topic in a single document instead of having to create separate files or start with the PDF. **Suggested functionality:** * Insert an entire PDF into an existing note. * Select specific pages from a PDF to insert. * Add handwritten or typed notes above, below, or alongside the inserted PDF pages. * Continue adding new note pages after the PDF content. * Keep the PDF pages and notes together as one document. I think this would make the app much more flexible and especially useful for students who combine lecture notes, worksheets, textbook pages, and PDFs in one place.

Add a feature of when we hold a onto a figure and it creates but there should be a colour to fill automatically when left the figure..like this feature works well in goodnootes app . So please bring that feature of automatically fill colour in shape
It Overwrites Itself
CollaNote is incredible, and I won’t lie—I loved it. I left Notability and purchased CollaNote because of the customization options for the app and folders, as well as not having to worry about a yearly subscription or waiting for my notebooks to load. Now, here’s why I rated it 3 stars. I frequently switch between my iPads, sometimes multiple times in the same day. This causes issues because a notebook isn’t always fully backed up. When I switch to another iPad, it can overwrite the work I previously had. If there’s any way this could be fixed, I would truly appreciate it. In the meantime, I’m off to a different app.

I am enjoying the features on this app and the interface. I like the pen options especially. I would like to see the option to view and mark on pdfs as a 2 page spread like you are looking at a book or journal. Thanks.

他在写字方面，我觉得是比较可以的，但是他缺少字迹 美化功能，并且他那个胶带涂上去的话，然后他那个橡皮擦擦，他是一整个全部擦掉，它不能分开擦掉，然后还有就是他没有图层，有时候导入文件进去想做题，但是没有就是图层可以分开，这样就可以再刷一遍那个模板，就是那些比较好看的模板比较少，现在都没有怎么更新过了感觉，然后不能自己自定义添加自己想要的模板
Favorite Notetaking App
I’ve been using CollaNote for a few years now, and I love it! One feature I would love to see added is the ability to change the function for squeezing the apple pencil. I like being able to change the function for double tapping my pencil (either switching tools or showing the tool menu), and I would love the same choices for squeezing it.
Data not saved
I backed up everything to Icloud when changing my Ipad, and NONE OF MY NOTES were saved, I lost all of my university motes and there is no way to get them back by signing in or anything. I tripled checked that it was backed up and now I have nothing. Unacceptable.

I think it would be so cool to include a light/ dark mode toggle switch for the Home Screen and each note page, also, I think you should make more of the features for people who don’t do the subscription. I do like this app though.

The app is so laggy especially when trying to move between pages and trying to zoom in and out

Option to sort folders and notebooks by users
Hello!The app is good, but please add the option to sort folders and notebooks not only by creation date, modification date, and name, but also in an arbitrary order that the user can choose themselves. Sometimes it’s more convenient to structure all the necessary folders and entries yourself, but the app doesn’t allow you to do that.
used to be a great app - disappointing downfall
i’ve been using this app for 4 years. it used to be a great app but now it has severe limitations and repeated ads that pop up in the middle of taking notes. you can only have a max of 10 pages now. it used to be completely unlimited. having a limit for digital paper is insane. it’s also been lagging increasingly over time as well. genuinely so sad cause this used to be my favorite note taking app. i’m glad i graduated before this app went completely downhill - would not recommend for future use

Hi CollaNote team CollaNote is my favorite note-taking app, and I use it throughout pharmacy school. I’d love to see two features added: 1. A search bar to quickly find keywords across all notes and previous materials. 2. Support for more file formats (Word, PowerPoint, etc.) with automatic conversion to PDF. Right now, I have to use another app (Notability) to convert some of my professors’ files before importing them into CollaNote. 3. AI translation, especially with better accuracy for medical and scientific terminology. These features would make managing and studying large amounts of course material much easier! 不让加纸张
以前一直都可以正常加纸张，现在直接更新了反倒最多写到第十页…第十一页开始一直让充会员，甚至以前用到超过十页的，现在在往下用也一直说要充会员。。。 更新内容里怎么不说这个呢，吃相这么难看吗
Translation
its a good app and I paid for the premium version because of the Quick translation mode, but it disappointed me in so many ways. The first problem is that the translation fades super fast within 6-7 seconds and sometimes it moves out in the middle of me reading it, without me giving the permission. Also, when I choose a paragraph for translation, it doesnt show the full translation and from a point it just says "..." without giving us possibility to read the rest. The translation, also, is sometimes acting weak and while translating german texts to english, it just rewrite the german word in english without translating it... I'm not satisfied with these exhausting issues and I kindly ask to fix this problem
