Muy útil
Awful
Free version worked, paid didn’t. Paid for it and then my pen won’t write on the full screen. I can figure out what template to use. The whole thing is worthless to me. Wasted $10.
I like it, But
But I wish it came with some documentation to know how to use all of the features.
Lack of Support
UPDATE July 2027 - not only no support, for ages now: Issues: BACKUPS If you want to backup your notes, you can not just backup as you can with most notes app. You need to abandon your note organization...because you would need to move notes to a special backup folder. REMOTE STORAGE No way to keep notes on a WebDAV - so your notes consume a stack of room on your phone . Original: Contacted company 3 times over the past three months the - zero reply.
Help
How do I get my documents from previous app. I wanted to transfer them to this new one that I’ve downloaded, but can’t open app to do so. Help!
Fantastic !!
Damn good
Absolutely broken now
I used to love this app. Now it says I have to buy pro because I’ve reached the limit of the storage, even though I’ve deleted everything??
What is the difference between this and Notes writer Pro 2025?
What is the difference between this and Notes writer Pro 2025?
Bought in 2018
I bought this in 2018 and now there are a bunch of IAPs added. I redownloaded this to test it out for using to learn Greek…and it let me take ONE voice note file before it prompted me to buy a subscription of some sort. I can’t even tell if the app will do what I would want it to do, with so little ability to explore it. NO, I have no interest in signing up for yet another trial, for an app I already bought. The voice note DID scribe what I said in to English, but when I tried to select Greek it displayed the Greek words temporarily not the voice recording portion of the screen, but did NOT translate them, saying it was an AI feature. I might be interested in a one time, lifetime purchase but it is impossible to figure out what I can even access from my original purchase, with the app begging me to upgrade every single time I press a button. Restore did nothing…
Not worth the time to sort through info or Money
The is a better app than this one for the same price. This app was very limited.
It’s pretty nice
I would use it in fact I do use it. I think you should try it. Thank you.
No free anything
I have never made a note with this app but trying to ,ale a sing,e note leads to a “you’ve made the max number of free notes,” message recommending to delete some. So I delete their spam notes that they put in anyone’s app by default and still get the message. I. Not paying for anything that I can’t test first. I’m not sure what kind of business plan the developer has but it’s not a very smart one, that much is certain.
Solid Note App
Overall decent app with plenty of note taking features and customizable options. I absolutely love the variety of templates (best part of the entire app) and the overall structure of the app. It is easy to navigate without feeling overwhelming or complicated with to many buttons. It is simple without skimping out in the necessities and essential tools. Only downside is you have to pay to access nearly everything, including all of the templates. While the lifetime purchase is only $10, there is very limited things you can do on this app without paying first. It may be worth the price, though.
Way too limited
I don’t mind paying for a good notes app. But I’m not spending money on one before I’ve had a chance to evaluate it. This free version is way too limited to get an idea of what the app can do.
Bugs
I would take notes during class and suddenly the app would close. When I opened it again, all of the notes I had taken that period were gone.
Genial
Está muy perron la verdad lo recomiendo
Fraud
Don't buy the application from the iPhone and transfer it to the iPad with the same Apple Store account because it will turn into free, and this in itself is a fraud by the company. They cheated me and made me pay and did not give me the paid powers. They are correct.
More pen feature
Hi! I love this app so much, I was looking for an app that allows me to add note on the part that just highlighted, not like writing it on the side. This app is perfect for that. Just one thing tho, can you guy add more pen types? Like fountain pen and more stuffs like that? Currently, there are only a normal pen and pencil. It would be absolutely perfect you it has the fountain pen option.
Deletes my notes
I am so mad! Multiple times this app has deleted what I wrote with no way to get it back via the undo button. I wish there was a way to restore to past versions.
unsure
JUST downloaded the app as I have been trying to find an app to transfer my notes to as I like to customize all my stuff. I think i’d really like it but it’s very glitchy. if it weren’t constantly glitching i’d love it. i’ll wait to hopefully get an update to fix the glitching even though it looks like it was supposedly updated 6 days ago for glitching??
Incredible Tool for taking Notes
The templates that are available are tremendous for classifying my teaching notes.
No lo descarges
Muy malo noooooooooooo lo recomiendo

The heck‽
Why aren’t there any simple and flexible notes apps like Apple’s native notes? I don’t need flashy folders but I do need the ability to make outlines. Too bad Apple notes crashes so I need something else but what I don’t need is a mystery of what “pro” provides. I don’t know why you can’t explain it on the app description page and I don’t understand why Apple doesn’t require it. Nope- I get to jump in, figure out the app and then Surprise! find out I need to shell out $$.
Works ok, but why so many updates?
Works ok, but what is with all the updates? Don’t you test before releasing updates? How are there so many bugs all the time?
Notas
Me encanta la app, fácil de usar, a diferencia de otras
Double dipping! Bait and switch!
They tell you to ‘spend $10 to buy pro to unlock all features for life!’ Except that it isn’t true. You figure this out after you buy the full version to unlock all pro features that you get to keep for life! And then when you try to use AI, it tells you “oh that will be an extra 1.99 a month please”. What a rip off. I don’t like to be lied to and I can’t use this app in good faith. Now that I know that I’ve been lied to. I only loaded it long enough to know that I’ve been lied to and now I want my money back. This is ridiculous. And now to make it even worse, after requesting a refund, I am told that the purchase is not eligible for a refund. I can’t even express how disgusted I am.
医学生不能只有一种颜色的手写笔！！
旧版是两种颜色的笔，一种水笔一种铅笔，两种颜色可以很好地区分重点，为什么更新后只有一种颜色了？？？要抓狂了
Terrible. Used to be better
I used to use this for things that I would like to highlight and read for class. However, it’s now unable to read the text out loud. When you attempt to, it gives you coded text instead of the actual text. So it will read something like this for example “ 1 &41 05ĉ1>1:@ /;9<1:?-@5;: ?E?@19? 4-? 59<85” instead of giving you what it should state in proper English. It also would not allow you to copy text so can put it in a document like word. It will just give you the coding behind it like the above. Please fix… very upsetting. Going back to Adobe.
Apple Pencil functionalities needs works
Would’ve switched due to the cool pdf Split View features. However the app is lacking when it comes to the Apple Pencil and UI. Maybe next update things will be better
The worst 💕
You will not be able to have any form of autonomy over your notes unless you buy it. I can’t share MY notes or create any new ones, I was not even able to edit them! If you have homework you need to submit and no budget for random apps… just like every other student ever, this app is the worst combination! I understand being greedy and asking for money every other second but some decency would be to let users at least share a copy of their own work. Why claim this is free in the first place?! This is a next level scam! Not only did I take all the notes but I also have to pay 7 dollars for them. Why? I did the work and the app gets a small commission regardless.. very greedy and gross.
works until you need
app worked great or so I thought! I previously thought missed information was of my own doing until today when I physically watched it place then remove text as it was entered only to then completely crash app & closing to reopen and retry is unsuccessful multiple times and attempts using different criteria each time to identify the error with the same result from the app including update to app: App being deleted and uninstalled immediately to replace with a functional one
Great app but missing one thing for me
I’m looking to move away from Notability and came across this app. The UI is (mostly) great. Very native feeling and full of customization. I qualified the UI comment because I don’t understand how the locations work, and for some reason the tab bar is the one place the app isn’t native-feeling. Despite all the great parts, I cannot use this app because there is no option to vary the thickness of the pen, at least as far as I can tell. That is unfortunately a non-starter for me, but I hope to be able to use this app in the future.
Freezes
Just downloaded and paid $5.99 for this app and when I want to add a text box to the pdf the whole app freezes! Now where is that refund button?
Problem in exporting a file to this app
When I share a file from any other app to this app . It doesn’t show any response.I have to first open the app.please correct this bug
Give these devs your money
How is this app not listed among the “top rated” ones like Flexcil and GoodNotes?! It works better than most of its competitors, has a slicker, easier UI, is faster, has more features, and has an actually functional free version that doesn’t constantly hound you to upgrade to “pro”. And not only that, the pro version is cheap and it’s not a subscription! I’m so sick of all the other simple note apps that charge monthly for what should be basic features. After hunting around the App Store for a couple hours, I think this is the note app for me. Support these devs! And if you’re reading this devs, kudos to you guys!
All of my doodled notes GONE
I am devastated. I have 2 years of physics notes just GONE now. Precious information on slides is just *poof* missing as I'm doing homework. I shouldn't pay $10 only for the app to bug out ONLY AFTER I pay for it. BRB off to have another breakdown
Please improve marker or highlighter feature its very annoying
Highlighter expends to other words which is annoying .Request you please fix it
Was great, now a rip off
I have loved this app. Used it through college for note taking and some reading as well. Now the new version/update for the free version is ridiculous, basically forcing you to pay just to be able to use it. Will be looking for a new note taking app after years of using this.
Weird permissions
It’s a great app but why is it asking so many permissions (delete my files, see who i share my files with, change who i share them with and other weird stuff) to import files from ?
Great App
Updated Apr 23 Color issue fixed!! Great app for collecting notes, only issue that I have is the text font color selection chart does really match the colors when applied to the actual notes...
Deletes my annotations
Why is it that so many pages of my annotations are gone? The backups are useless too. I just don’t understand the issue, it’s such a hassle 😭
Very bad paid app. Free version very good
Paid version is very inefficient and keeps hanging. Free version is better. I cannot add images, it keeps getting stuck and restarting. Pathetic app. It’s cheating I feel by providing good quality free app but later very bad quality app is provided
Palm rejection
The worst thing about this app is that it is not supports palm rejection.I prefer GoodNotes.
Excellent app and a little advice
Sir this is the best app I found so thank you for making such an amazing app with such a small amount and little advice plz improve the eraser “to erase entire stroke and erase only highlighter option” then it’ll be the best app for me
Outstanding App
I use both the iPad and MacBook version. The choice of writing options, available templates, filing scheme, and the new AI assistant make this an incredible application. It is also a great value. I have 7 other note apps and have transitioned to NotesWriter Pro.
Deleting documents
I am really disappointed. I used this for years for taking notes for school and come to find out that it’s been deleting documents, so I’ve lost a ton of important graduate school notes. Will be switching to a new program.
First of all it's a great app...
Thank you for this...by hv one complaint about this ...its little bit lagging... while we rotate the page or ipad...want to be smooth transition...
I wanted to love this app so much
It’s just so buggy and it becomes very frustrating to use. Has a great interface, but I’m struggling to get done what I need to get done.
Take a lot of space
