Made my iPad better!!
I absolutely love this app! I use it for so manny things! This is one app that I’ve gotten every penny’s worth for the full version!
难用
难用的要死，买断之前还不卡，买断之后卡的要死，卡的想砸平板
Wonderful but iCloud sync could be easier
When I got this app, it was for notes for university. Everything was practically free (unless you want new covers or paper designs which is a cheap one time charge like procreate) and I still use it for classes. My only gripe is the amount of work you have to do to make sure it is synced to your iCloud. I was under the impression that it was already synced until I lost my notes after switching devices. If that gets fixed, it will be the perfect app.
Awful palm rejection
Writing is not smooth often it become difficult to write due to faulty palm rejection. On apple notes I don’t face such problem.
Please add ability to add lined/squares in page extension
When a pdf page is extended it only shows blank extension option currently please add ability to add lined pages as page extension
Outstanding
Simple, clean, intuitive. The only thing I stumbled over was changing the size of the eraser tool. (Tap on the erasure tool again after selecting it.) Highly configurable. Works flawlessly with the Apple Pencil. Double-tapping the pencil with your index finger toggles between your currently selected drawing tool and the eraser. The app never gets in the way. The lasso tool is so useful to rearrange your notes! I’m working my way through college algebra, and this is so much better than pencil & paper. The pro version is ridiculously inexpensive.
页面不从当前页显示的bug
更新之后，点工具栏最左边按钮，进入页面视图之后从第一页开始显示太垃圾了，没用啊。我要改回以前的显示当前页。赶紧改回来啊，太难受了
Very good, A few wishes
The app is exceptional for only a one time payment. I just wish for a couple things: 1) More colors for folders and notebooks, maybe like the RGB scale we are able to do for our pen choice. 2) I wish it was much easier to put outlines under each other. Currently you have to drag outlines into one another to make chapters, I wish there was a select button, it would be very useful and appreciated.

Intuitive and Great for broke college student
I love using this app. The tools are intuitive. You get 10 note books with unlimited pages with the free version. You can also toggle between notebooks at the top of the screen, which prevents hunting for a specific one and makes it easy. The whole app is pretty seamless. My only complaint is that the space between the lines is too small but I switch to the blank pages and it works well. I am a college freshman and this had been fantastic. And it’s free!

Very convenient
The app is very good and is very cheap, for 6 dollars you can get everything on the app with no subscription, and the writing is very clean, overall very nice
Is there a tutorial
Dude I put multiple pictures on it in one turn and can't figure out HOW to move them. also if I try the tape thing HOW DO I EVEN ADJUST THIS. HOW DO I MOVE THINGS AFTER BECAUSE LASSO AINT IT
highlighter width issue
highest width of highlighter(10) covering portion of line in some pdf but working perfectly in others.tried redownloading the pdfs and the app.no luck.
Easy note taking app
The app isn’t hard to get used to, it took me like 5 minutes at most to adjust. I use it for taking math notes in college and have had no issues so far. I like how most of the features aren’t locked behind a paywall which annoyed me about other note taking apps. I also love how they don’t force AI onto you. Took me forever to find a note taking app without AI in the title and this one was perfect and Im so tired of AI being forced down our throats. please don’t change this app!

crashing
the app normally does great but is crashing lately.
Great app
It’s free, some note apps have ads but this one is for the people who just need simple notes (idk about drawing) however the app itself as a lot of helpful features and easy to understand
投屏且演示模式（16：9显示时）会卡顿，直接投屏很正常

App is good, but some suggestions
The stopwatch and the timer UI needs to be redesigned a bit because it is fine, but the issue is when I started the timer becomes way too small I have to squint my eyes to see how much time I have studied and I think in 2026, maybe there should be AI integration into the app at least some basic stuff, not huge thing. Some basic stuff like explain those kind of things, and this was the reason I cut one star on the review. And maybe maybe think about adding Liquid Glass support too because it’s been more than 1 year so
长按翻译功能呢？？？。？？？
为啥更新之后取消长按翻译功能了，很不方便啊
Request to add normal highlighter
Please add normal highlighter ,it has only the vector one but not any normal highlighter . This is very wrong because we cant highlight the dark background pdfs please add this as soon as possible
Noteful
This is such a great app to study on and more . Noteful is very helpful . It lets me customize what I want the book cover to be and the paper too! I personally love it

About shape
Hey team, I have been using noteful since i bought ipad, everything is nice and feel good about noteful. One small request I would like to make, app has shape option (filled shape with choosen colour) but doesn’t have an empty shape option, every time whenever i have to circle my text, i have to do it manually after going through filled shape which is kind of uncomfortable, if u could add a toggle of empty shape, it would be appreciated. Thank you. One very important feature that has been missing is, highlighter doesn’t work black background, as it is completely invisible, it only highlights the text ,not the text background. Please look into this. Thank you.
Note
It’s not great
It keeps getting better
It keeps going from great to greater with each update. Great work on this app. Highly recommended! Keep up the good work!

feature rich notebook app + feature requests
This app is one of the best out there. It has all the essential features without any unnecessary features, it works beautifully for aesthetic note-taking & the price for pro is extremely reasonable and worth it! There are some things I’d suggest changing to make the experience perfect & worthy of 5 stars. Please allow color picking in addition to the writing tools on the zoom window. I have an iPad Pro 13 inch and reaching all the way at the top to change color when my zoom windup is on the bottom is rather tedious. Perhaps allow us to pick tools from the toolbar to add to the zoom window too, though just colors is what I need! And please allow using the zoom window on full screen mode! Sometimes the toolbar is not necessary to look at for me and takes away from my beautiful notes. Also I’d suggest improving the motion smoothing on the pens. The highest setting sometimes is still too jittery for me. I have to write slow to write nearly. And I suggest adding a better calligraphy pen! The current one is too rounded, and it doesn’t get thick + thin enough to aesthetically write in cursive. My workaround has been downloading a calligraphy font. Lastly, I don’t really like how on vertical scroll mode, the pages separate with a dark grey line. It is not aesthetic to look at and I’d like it to look more seamless like the page is continuous, even though it is a separate page. Maybe make the divider white as well, or bring the pages closer to each other so there is no gap. That is all, thank you for developing an amazing app! I hope you guys take into consideration these issues that will make the app more seamless for me to utilize.
Lock
Can’t lock the note
Glitch in search option
When I search for a word in a pre-saved .noteful file I have opened once again from filemanager, there’s a problem. When I search for a word in document with text search option, they do not locate the highlighted box of searched word on the word I have entered. Please correct this ft. THANK YOU
Perfect
I don’t write reviews that often unless it’s absolutely horrible or absolutely phenomenal. In this case, this app is FREE and phenomenal. It’s everything I was looking to use for school. I am so impressed with the simple but effective UI and this developer deserves so much praise. I may purchase the full app just to support them. 100/10!! Thank you!!

Still learning but I love the tutorial task list they provide to get you familiar with the app. Finding it easier to use for my digital planning.
Not
No No No No No No No No No No No No
Has quirks that needs to be ironed out
I’ve enjoyed the app and its features, but taking notes is frustrating because random lines keep appearing that I didn’t intend to write. This forces me to constantly erase and rewrite sections, which makes it hard to maintain focus on my notes. I’ve enabled palm rejection, but it doesn’t seem to help, and I’m seeing unnecessary lines pop up every few seconds. If the handwriting detection and palm rejection were more accurate, this would be a much better tool for serious note‑taking. Please improve palm rejection and input accuracy for stylus users so we can take clean notes without constant interruptions.
Idk what to think about this
Slow and confusing for beginners camera won’t work and won’t let me add photos
App is great. Support is disappointing / nonexistent
I asked a simple question multiple times from the app and from their website and but no response.
Perfect app
I really love the options this app gives you. I love the little sticky note feature and the marker smoothing. If it could have more marker options and even downloadable presets that’d really up the ante. So excited to use this for yet another year.
Awful
the draw to text is awful!it keeps changing font,I don’t like the tool bar that it comes with at the bottom!the keyboard keeps appearing out of nowhere and it keeps deleting some words.made my note taking experience very miserable. Please can a dev fix this thank you.
Improve
Optimize battery usages and add new pen tip and sticker on premium
Meh
Initially v good but free version only lets you have 10 notebooks
PLEASE pay attention to updates .
I like the handwriting experience but there is room for improvement in 1)highlighting segments just like goodnotes and other apps highlighting dosent feel good or contrast in nature it just overshadows the text . 2) Just like other apps they should give sound ASMR option while writing to give feel like writing on paper . 3) ink of black pen is not crisp like other apps. 4) they never pay attention to update .
