MFA notification doesn’t send
Not only do they constantly have issues preventing core services (except for surprise surprise revenue generation) from running, the notification doesn’t work when logging in. I’ve hit resend multiple times and still no notification in my app.

The app is not completely compatible with iPad. A lot of issues with the screen size. Once you log out it doesn’t log out. Always saying something went wrong trying to access various areas of the app.

Have been trying to link my drivers license to the app, but it just never works. After submitting, the endless spinner shows and nothing happens
Useful app BUT..
I have an old email account linked to my drivers licence. Trying to renew online and update to my new email has been frustrating. Ive emailed Services NSW, but they keep telling me how to edit on the page , but the issue is my old email is in place and a code wants to send to a not in use email address. How can i get this done??? (I travel to and from AU & USA alot, I've already used the kit to prev renew my licence, but i dont think i can use it for another renewal)

Non Australian mobile number?
Covid safe check in seems OK in principle but I’m visiting from overseas but it now doesn’t seem to accept my non-Australian mobile number. I’ve been out of State and the last time I was here on 12 January it seemed fine. Confused.

Classic cynical system design from a beaurocracy. See trying to ‘create an account’ to claim the vouchers ? Obviously that costs some funny money budget somewhere so ‘discouragement via process yet gather data at the same time’ is the real order. Let me describe. Firstly several pages of ‘captcha’ pics must be waded through until eventually a UID/password setup is offered. Email provision and mobile number required too naturally. You must accept the T&Cs to progress. Don’t click to actually read the T&Cs or you’ll bomb out right back to the pages and pages of ‘captcha’ part of the process. There you go ! Vouchers remain safe, email and phone harvest done and photo recognition AI data provided! That’s genius in a way. Also the App throws a wobbly if not constantly updated. The App is Needy and Greedy and Sinister but it sort of works especially in the Apartheid Certificate provision.

Multi factor authentication problem
The multi-factor authentication is preventing me from logging in. I’ve even set up the same two devices that I used when I was able to log in before.

Two factor authentication
Is dreadful in an otherwise useful app. Change password it logs you put - standard. Log back in and the 2fa kicks in. One option (the others don’t work for me) is to “Use a one-time code in the app”. To do this it takes you to the log in page. So username and password, 2fa, use the app. This takes you to the log in page… did anyone in the development team think about testing this, and then might have spotted the minor flaw?

There should be way more digital IDs available by now, especially the NSW Photo ID which has been several years in the making and is still not available. Also, why are these IDs not integrated with Apple’s iPhone digital wallet?
