Rhapsody in Blue
I have been using this sheet music app since 2022. I love this app! It has 99% of what I am looking and browsing for. Just now, Feb 2026, I think I found the Rhapsody in Blue piano version that my piano teacher gave me to learn in 1988! I have been looking for it on and off since 1994. I have most of the printed sheet music from her but it’s missing a few bars. I think this one is the full version! I am excited to re-learn this music again! It’s the best song ever. I just love it so much!!

Lots of music but could use more development
The selection is generally great. Never really run out of music to play. They could do a few things to improve the app. Tapping the D.S. sign should jump you to the Segno. The same with getting to the Coda. It’s tough on a longer song to jump around. They could also roll that feature out to repeats that span across pages. General search can also be improved to catch misspellings or commonly missearched music. Search should be universal and show music from all set lists and favorites segmented out from a common search no matter what screen you are on. Please allow to see more from an artist from within a set list. Finally, allow annotations with an Apple Pencil or similar. Would help to take notes on the music.
Download isn’t easy
App needs to be improved. I tried to select a song and it wouldn’t download and I couldn’t print it
It Use To Be the Best
I am so sad that the best online sheet music company that provided within the Sheet Music opportunities to Transpose to a different key, have multiple skill levels, the ability the resize the notes and the ability to listen to the song as it plays through the music. Some of these still exist, but the majority of these options have changed with a lot of their songs since their last update. I have been a member for over 3 years. I wish the Developers could return back to what once made it great!!
Service
A little tricky to get the music sheets into a PDF file and then send it to a print store for printing. Maybe this could be simplified a little?
Sheet music won't load
The sheet music I search on this app no longer displays, this has been the case for the last 2-3 weeks. I have to visit the website and search for it which doesn't offer the same conveniences.
Printing option
It would be better if we could print the piece we purchased. You would sell more sheets.
App support
This app used to be amazing. But they’ve since stopped supporting new titles within the app. Such a disappointment.
Lack of customer service contact
I have been a customer using their PASS subscription and have had issues contacting customer service. I have no idea why some titles that show they are available in the PASS options will not load. Again, no one has ever responded to my emails.
Amazing app and selection of music
I have the Sheet Music Direct Pass subscription. With this app and my 12.9 inch iPad Pro and a bluetooth pedal I can I am all set to play my accordion. There is so much music available and this app works great. The subscription lets me play just about any song I want. Hal Leonard has a large selection of accordion and piano music in all levels of skill. You don’t have to buy a book and find out some pieces don’t work. Much easier than flipping pages from a hard copy songbook. I recommend this highly.
Won’t load music
Installed, logged in, viewed exactly one piece of sheet music successfully. The second piece I tried won’t load and hangs forever trying to load.

I subscribed to Pass and not sure that it’s worth it because every other song I try to pull up just sits there loading for several minutes until I give up and pick a song that will load. But out of the collection I have been able to get to load I’ve been really happy. Way better than buying loads of piano sheet music and books. They just need to make sure all the songs are loading properly.

Suggestion
This is a great app for musicians and teachers and has a variety of over 2 million pieces with arrangements to cater to the needs of each individual regardless what level or grade they may be. I am a subscriber and find this app a very useful tool for educational purposes. If I need a piece of music I don’t have, sheet music direct is the first place I turn to. I understand they will not have every available song on the market, but they are adding new songs frequently and regularly. One suggestion I would like to make for future updates for subscribers. I would like to see an interactive feature with the sheet music, where one could annotate arrangements if downloaded to their library or set lists, purely for teaching students. On the whole though, a really useful app and it saves carrying books or paper copies.

Unfortunate New Problems
I’ve been a huge fan of this app/service for along time. Unfortunately, something is happening now where newer music isn’t loading. It’s very frustrating.
Customer service needs improvement
Ordered a fairly big number of song sheets and never got them sent by email. Otherwise great when it works
Downloads
What is the point of an app if you cannot download scores from the app. You buy it for the already elevated price and yet you do not get the option to download pdf from the app.
Quite clunky
Search facility not very good for filtering my difficulty and search should search the store and library in any mode rather than having to go the right category first
My lost library
First of all, I just want to thank those that helped me get my app back. I had 79 songs and I found out that the app no longer was active. Long story short, they helped me reset most everything. I’m trying to get the songs synced to the new app. I’m hoping it will let me connect my past purchases. I haven’t played them for a year. Thanks so much! If anyone has ideas on how to songs from google to Sheet Music Direct, I’d be forever grateful. Debbie Salois 😊
Pass does not show up, help link broken
Checked my account online and my password sub is active. But the app does not recognize that I have a pass subscription. It just says that I cannot subscribe to pass in the app. Tried to get help but all the links are broken. Useless app.

Bit of a nightmare currently. Previously found this company amazing but impossible to log in atm says the captcha isn’t working. Just spent a long time trying all sorts of different ways to download music I’ve bought. On the app.

Lol nothing loads
Guess I’ll be canceling my subscriptions. The music doesn’t even load. Onto the next app that’ll actually work, I’ll give them my monthly fee instead.
Audio problems
I’ve been using this app for a few years now, and it has definitely helped me learn piano. My playing has improve a lot from using this app. But, it frustrates me that every now and then the app doesn’t play the music - it just stops piping the music to the speakers. I’m using it on an iPad with a midi electric piano. Sometimes I play the music back through the piano and sometimes just through the iPad. But it will invariably stop playing through either after a few minutes. It’s fine at first, I can play the sheet music to hear what it’s supposed to sound like, but then, for no reason, it just stops. I can sometimes get it to play again by doing into the setting and selecting the output device, but it’s not reliable. And it crashes quite a lot, which isn’t a major problem - a lot of apps do, but it’s the sound failure that really bothers me.
Accessing my purchase
Not user friendly. Cannot print the music. Cannot digitally send it to my accompanist …. Ugh!!!
Needs modernising
I’ve been a user of this site (and app) for a few years. Whilst it has great selection of music, the app needs a serious overall. It’s very clunky. Here’s a few of my requests/issues: 1) quite often sound doesn’t play until you kill the app and reload. 2) the search filter is like something from the early 2000s. It doesn’t do fuzzy matching. If you make a typo in the title, it won’t find it. Come on guys, this is 2025. That problem was fixed 20+ years ago. 3) You can’t easily find related music. If I search for an album, I can’t click to find the rest of the album, just the same artist, which is no good for music like musicals. Please put some effort into brining your app into this decade

Awesome resource to playing guitar
Not working
One song opens but I can’t play it, adjust options, or anything. Another just loads forever and never opens at all. Closing and reopening the app does nothing and it’s the same problems without any changes. Not going to try getting any more.
Good app
This app is really great and works well on my phone although it does seem to keep crashing on my iPad which is a bit frustrating, hopefully this can be fixed.
Ok not great.
The search engine is HORRIBLE. If you don’t have exact spelling you will never find the song. You’d think typing in “landslid” it would pull up “Landslide”. It doesn’t. Also it has some bugs where it freezes and you can’t click anything. Really can’t be trusted for gigs.

I play keyboard solos for an hour before the performances at our community theatre and during intermission. I try to make my music match the theme of the play and getting the songs from you makes it easy.

I have been purchasing music on my PC for many years. A good selection of sheet music is available. Competitive pricing especially with the PASS option which I have signed up for. Just started using the app on my iPad. Happy so far
Disappointing arrangements
I was hoping for a number of religious and Christmas pieces with enjoyable piano arrangements. Arrangements are primitive, elementary, sad. Everything seems to be a generic version of something that might’ve been great.
Money and more money
You have to pay for all the songs and all the good ones they make more expensive. So the more good songs you want to play the more money you have to pay. There are songs for like £1 but their all old ones that not many people now. Other than that it’s good, I bought a few songs. Wouldn’t recommend for beginners some notes are confusing to read coming from a beginner myself. Good app for more experienced players!

Needed to print and cannot
I’m still trying to learn the piano and love new music. But I’m unable to navigate this to really help me with new music. Will go back to purchasing printed sheet music and cancel immediately.
Not great!
Audio no longer plays on my iPad Pro. I wrote to the developer....eventually it was sorted ;). Generally this is a pretty good app. I note a few comments from people saying they can’t access their downloads without WiFi. This isn’t the case. If you want a pdf version simply log your account on the sheer music website and your order history and pdf files are there waiting for you to download and print as you please.
Many titles “not available in app”
Trying to locate barbershop arrangements and every title came up as not available. It’s a real shame as having a library of music at your fingertips to try out would be my main reason for going beyond free trial.

The content is great and has been for the couple years I’ve used it but the new IPhone app crashes and often won’t start at all
