I’ve used many years, works great!
I think I started using this in 2022 and I’ve played out a lot since then. I import my pdf charts through iCloud and copy them into the Piascore folder, super easy. I love that the background can be inverted to black with white text, very easy on the eyes. Plus you don’t want a light shining from your iPad. I really like Piascore!
Glitches sometimes
Very good app, but can glitch sometimes and add extra pages to setlists.
Fantastic until you need a new device
I’ve used Piascore for years and love all its cool features, especially creating notes and changes on .pdf files and books. It’s great until you need a new device and need to migrate the app or download it from the cloud to your new iPad, then prepare yourself for a shock. Many of the larger .pdf music books and files will not be in the app, and the ones that are will have lost ALL your notes. It doesn’t fully transfer through the cloud or in Dropbox. Piascore doesn’t offer phone support (as far as I can tell) and the online support does not address this issue. Now I have to recreate notes in 13 books and hundreds of files. Not happy. 🤬
No sharing button
Please add sharing button , so I can share with my students. I give you 2 stars, cause no sharing button, so inconvenience!
Will it ever be Android friendly?
I’ve been using this app for years and I love everything except, when some of my musicians have Android devices. It’s such a pain to be to sharing a link with the songs to some and to others I have to download the songs as a pdf. Please make it Android friendly!
Extremely affordable
Why spend 25 bucks?? This does everything the other guys do for a third of the price! Just sayin’!
Unusable with Google Drive
I store all my music in Google Drive. The link to the drive from Piascore is very unstable. It works occasionally, mostly not. If your primary storage is Google Drive this app is not for you.
Download limitations
I have a folder I created, and it’s not letting me upload any of the songs except 2, without a reason. I’m assuming the file may be too big, but I would like to know why it’s not letting me upload my file for my gig. Over all pretty well put together, and a good app!
Good Free Music Score App, but beware professionals
I've used Piascore for a year now and it's been great, gotten the job done. Sometimes it can be a bit klunky to get things uploaded, but otherwise no problem. EXCEPT recently I experienced a really bad problem where after I uploaded over 34 scores, any time a new score was uploaded a previously uploaded score would randomly disappear. Very glad I noticed because otherwise an entire song would've been missing from my set list during an upcoming performance. It doesn't really seem like the app is still updated because problems like these are persistent.
Solid choice
Pro musician here - been using PiaScore for years. Solid choice, excellent tools for annotation, setlist management. Runs well on older iPads as well - extending their useful life. HIGHLY recommend!
No longer works?
This was a great program for marking music but it suddenly stopped working. This makes me hesitant to purchase anything from Piascore.
Google Drive archives
Yes. This should be addressed. I love when music directors send me one giant PDF, but when Google Drive is involved, whether individual files, archive, or folder…. It’s darn near impossible to quickly manage it. Do we have unzip functionality yet?
I can’t believe it’s free
Piascore is not a perfect program, but it is excellent—it stores all your music and offers additional features which I find useful. I honestly can’t believe it’s free. Save money and don’t pay for forescore, because Piascore offers everything you’ll need to be a musician on an IPad.
It would be great if it worked…
If I can’t figure out how to use an app in 5. Hours…I will go on to the next one.
A great sheet music reader for classical music
I’ve tried five different apps including virtual sheet music, music reader 4, museScore, etc. This is my favorite. It is easy, the only problem I have found with that is that if I make a playlist and I change the music in the playlist, it goes back and changes it in “all scores” which means I’d have to download it again to get back the original.
Deletes my notes
I’ve been using Piascore for orchestra. I write violin fingerings and notes from the conductor into my PDFs, but then when I go back to that page or re-open the app my notes aren’t there anymore! I don’t have other apps open so I don’t think my iPad processor is overloaded.
Great!
Love it!
"Free” yeah right
I decided to get this app., reviews were pretty good. The only problem is, in order to use it, or any of its features, you have to upgrade for $5.99 (I think that’s how much it was) Just charge me up front. This makes it feel like a rip off.
Facial Recognition Not Great
I love the app and ease of use for scanning, downloading, and cataloging music. But, I’ve had some uneven experiences with the page turning function. Maybe I use facial expressions more than I think, but the app sometimes turn the when I’m not expecting it.
検索が

Overall nice, but could use better edit tools and bulk transfers
I have been using this for 3 years as a pit musician. I play drums and percussion, and syncing 2 tablets across multiple stands for Lange setups is great and mostly seamless. Features that I could use better implementation on is the ability for more remembered highlight colors, and to easily choose between maybe 10 user selected colors. The text tool is downright annoying. I need quick text placement without constantly adjusting the text placement within the box. Let me type it in and move it easily. Not touching some extremely wide area that always makes me move the text within the box move instead. Nobody needs or wants to see partial text. Let me move the stupid box without a struggle. Also, stop allowing any touch to place an additional box. If you grab outside the just placed box, you get another. And then you try to X it out, and get another. It’s such a pain. Let me do a long press to get another, so I can finish what I’m doing, and not have a ton of unwanted ones appear and delete. Also…tagging…holy cow, the dialog box to assign a tag needs to be larger to accommodate more viewable tags without constantly mistakenly scrolling, and depending on where in view the tag box comes up, the window doesn’t even display the tag. It’s off the screen, and you can’t assign one until you move the sheet you are tagging higher in the list. That’s just basic functionality that this doesn’t have. The developers of this obviously do not actually use this app at all, as all these things are instantly noticeable and annoying…. Undo often doesn’t work with immediately written marks. You have to toggle the tools for the eraser, and then go back to writing. Camera capture is what I use most, and that is great, but the resulting pdf created is never the same quality as the original image. The clarity is reduced. Lastly, a bulk load that preserves all the annotations for all your scores when transferring to a new or additional device is great. Currently the bulk copy only copies the original score. All annotations are lost. To preserve the annotations, you have to transfer score by score, one by one, and select preserve annotations, every time, through an exhaustive, multi-step tapping dance. It took me 2 hours to transfer 200 scores this way to a new device. Couldn’t use cloud in this instance. It also doesn’t preserve tags, so I had to retag everything, taking another hour, after constantly selecting edit, and confirming. It’s just exhaustive and super annoying. The app is overall great, but annoys me to bits every time I use it because of the myriad of small issues that should have been designed out if the developers would actually use the app for 10 minutes.
Music
Love this app for my ukulele music. Easy to use and very functional.
Can’t open the store
I’ve purchased music sheets on their website but can’t download them through the app anymore after the last update. Fix your app.
Suggestion
hello Have you guys considered the possibility of allowing the users to add normal writing terms, like rit., cresc… there are only a fez insufficient options at the moment.
Unreliable face gesture
I’ve had the same problem two years in a row. The wink gesture works just fine and then stops working just before a performance. It would be worth 5 stars plus if the face gesture would keep working.
👍
I’ve been using this app for years now because I like it so much, I just wish there was an option to organize my scores— maybe folders, something like that?
Perfect for what I need
I use PiaScore for worship services on Sunday. It’s so much easier to have all the scores in one convenient file. I love being able to resize each page, add text or highlights, and navigate quickly to various pages in the document. Such a time and space saver! A++
dark mode icon pls
Love this app… Would be great if upon closing the annotation tools menu, the page would return to default zoom automatically, or provide an option that the back pedal would return the current page to default zoom

Great music reader
I go back-and-forth between this and another music reading app that was more expensive and there are things that Piascore does better. And it’s way cheaper.

Bookmark/Setlist
Great and convenient! One thing I would tweak is having an easier way to access individual pieces in a setlist. For example, if I have a church music accompaniment book, and other music part of the lineup for that day, instead of having to press setlist and choose the song, it would feel more comfortable and convenient to press the bookmark button and access all pieces within that setlist.

Great app
I like this app for my music notes and pdf, can you add a feature ware you can make the piano board display on top of the score so we can play the notes in that particular score, thanx
