Einfacher kann man keine Briefe schreiben
Eine der besten Apps, um Briefe schnell zu schreiben, ohne sich um die Formatierung kümmern zu müssen! Früher: PC gebootet, Word geöffnet, mangels Vorlage was zusammengeschustert oder den letzten Brief kopiert und angepasst - 10 Minuten Heute: „Briefe“ gestartet, Absender und Empfänger ausgewählt, ggf. Textvorlage genutzt oder Siri etwas diktiert und fertig in ansehnlicher Optik - 2 Minuten Nur bedingt fürs Business oder Power-User, da eben wenig Funktionen, aber perfekt für Privatpersonen, die 3x im Jahr einen Brief schreiben „müssen“. Empfehle ich gerne im Bekanntenkreis weiter, da beste App dafür. Kostenlos und mit etwas Frickelei bleibt sonst nur Google Docs. Der Preis hat sich mittlerweile mehr als verdoppelt! 😳 Und leider habe ich immer noch einen Fehler mit einem Brother-AirPrint-Drucker. Wenn ich diesen über AirPrint steuere, werden Hieroglyphen in einer Endlosschleife gedruckt. Aber wenn ich es zuerst als PDF in Dateien speichere und es dann von dort aus drucke, funktioniert es. Ich habe das bei anderen Druckern nicht erlebt.
am Mac nicht zu gebruachen
Auf dem iPhone und dem iPad super aber am Mac leider nicht zu gebruachen. Am Mac kann man weder vorlagen noch sonst irgendwelche einstellungen vornehmen, der komplette Menü punkt fehlt einfach. Es wäre schön wenn dies nachgerüstet werden würde. Leider kann man bei der erstellung von Vorlagen auf dem iPad und iPhone keine Formatirungen machen (Fett, Kursiv usw.) und auch das einrücken oder die Listen aufzählungen funktionieren nicht. Solche dinge gehen erst bei der Finalen bearbeitng aber auch da geht das EInrücken und Aufzählen nicht. Schön wäre es auch, wenn man seinen Absenderadressen Titel vergben könnte, das würde die verwaltung einfacher machen. Fehlen tut leider auch das Sperren von Dokumenten, das man sie nicht weiter bearbeiten kann. Die Syncronisation könnte auch schneller gehen. Also im Grunde kann man sagen es ist sein Geld nicht werd, wenn diese dinge nicht gehen, dann kann man auch Pages von Apple nutzen.

Le développeur justifie ce changement par les contraintes d'Apple et les coûts de maintenance. Cet argument ne tient pas : rien ne l'obligeait à retirer des fonctionnalités déjà payées. Il aurait pu prévenir les utilisateurs, maintenir les droits acquis pour les anciens acheteurs, ou publier la nouvelle version comme une application séparée. Retirer des fonctionnalités payantes via une mise à jour silencieuse, puis forcer un abonnement à un tarif multiplié par 40 ou 50, n'est pas une "pratique courante" acceptable. C'est une rupture de contrat envers les acheteurs existants. Je maintiens mon avis et je déconseille toujours cette application. Si vous êtes dans la même situation, contactez le support Apple pour demander un remboursement. --- AVIS ORIGINAL --- J'ai acheté cette application il y a quelque temps et j'en étais satisfait au départ. Cependant, depuis la dernière mise à jour, l'application est devenue pratiquement inutilisable : une fenêtre impossible à fermer s'affiche pour demander un abonnement, m'empêchant d'accéder à des fonctionnalités déjà payées (comme modifier mon adresse d'émetteur). Les tarifs ont été multipliés par 40 à 50 pour des fonctionnalités identiques à celles d'origine. Je déconseille fortement de mettre à jour cette application.

Where did my letter go?
I have just spent half an hour writing a letter which just disappeared off the screen and I couldn’t get it back! So frustrating and such a waste of time. Also, the information about the app said you can format the letter, however I couldn’t find any way of changing the font size as I was writing to a partially sighted friend. Is this only available in the paid for version?

Bisher die beste App zum schreiben von Briefen, die ich gefunden habe. Habe mir auch gleich die Pro Version gekauft. Zwei Anmerkungen hätte ich aber: 1. Das Briefpapier sollte in den allgemeinen Einstellungen hinterlegt werden können. Sprich es sollte die Auswahl geben, dass es bei allen Briefen automatisch vorausgewählt wird. 2. Für die Unterschrift sollte das selbe Vorgehen gewählt werden. Es macht keinen Sinn, dass man den Absender festlegen kann, aber die Unterschrift des Absenders nicht fest hinterlegen kann. Schön finde ich die Vorlagenfunktion. Es gibt viele Beispielvorlagen, die für den Normalo-Anwender ok sind. Aber es ist schon super, dass es eine Vorlagenfunktion gibt.
Zu dünn für den Preis
Leider antwortet der Support nicht. So beginnt diese Erfahrung. Wenn ich zwischen zwei Absätzen etwas bearbeiten will und möchte einen Absatz in die nächste Zeile machen, springt der Curser immer nach ganz unten an das Ende vom letzten Satz. Sehr nervig beim arbeiten. Irgendwie hatte ich mir wirklich mehr von der Vollversion versprochen.

Unverschämt
ich habe mir die App 2012 als Vollversion für 0,79 € gekauft. Jetzt soll ich auf einmal um die App voll umfänglich nutzen zu können monatlich 0,99 € zahlen ,eine Frechheit. Jetzt hab ich gerade gelesen, dass man die App auch weiter nutzen kann aber man kann keine Schriftgröße mehr einstellen und so weiter und sofort. Vorsicht, nicht seriös!

Seit IOS 26 kann ich den Button mit den 3 Punkten nicht mehr drücken. Also ist kein ausdrucken möglich. Bitte schnell beheben!

I use this app to write Letters when I go someplace and it's a lot safer because you can send the letters to your contacts and not have to worry about sending Letters to people that you don't know.... It's easy and it's a piece of cake and I strongly recommend this app to anyone who writes Letters!!!! 📬

I use it because it connects to my portable printer. Other than that, the AI and subscription are useless so I canceled it. Once I find a better printing app I will dump this barely there software.

Briefe speichern geht schlecht, es müsste Text unter den Begriffen rechts in der Ecke stehen. Der neue Brief müßte abgespeichert stehen bleiben.
War vor dem Update besser
Seit dem letzten Update hängt sich die App hin und wieder auf. Auch das Unterschreiben ging vorher deutlich besser.

Waste of time
Don't download this app it's the worst app I've ever used, u get so far then it crashes I've just got half way through an important letter then it crashed. I lost hours of work due to this app on more than one occasion. Don't waste your time on this app or like myself u will get very annoyed with it to the developer this is a poor app!!!! Only reason I put on star rating is because if I didn't it wouldn't let me send this warning out!!!!

Tolle App, schlechte Umsetzung des Abo-Modells
Eine wirklich tolle App. Die nachträgliche Streichung von Features für bisherige Käufer der App ist aber ein No-Go. Ich verstehe, dass die Entwickler ein verlässliches Einkommen brauchen, um die App pflegen zu können. Andere Entwickler lösen das bei bestehenden Apps aber richtigerweise so, dass sie verlockende neue Features als Pro-Features deklarieren, um Abonnenten zu gewinnen. Die Streichung bestehender Features ist auch rechtlich kritisch, da die Streichung der damals beworbenen Features der ursprünglichen Kaufversion einen nachträglichen Sachmangel begründen dürfte, der jedenfalls in der zweijährigen Gewährleistungszeit zur Nachbesserung oder jedenfalls Rückabwicklung des Kaufs berechtigen dürfte.

An sich ist die App gut weil man kann halt schnell Briefe usw schreiben ABER die eine Sache die mich unnormal gestört hat ist, dass man das Datum nicht umändern kann .

This is a brilliant app, it produces really professionally laid out letters every time, and is so easy. When you haven't got access to a proper computer with Word etc to make letter templates, this is a brilliant replacement. I love it. Have used it for some serious letters between various professional services and its great to know my letters look good. Would recommend it wholeheartedly.
Deleted within a few minutes after downloading
I paid for and downloaded this app and couldn’t get it to work. It also froze. I really want to be able to type letters on my iPhone.
Vollstes Verständnis für Abo, aber …
Bin auf Easy Letter umgestiegen und happy, auch wenn ich es nicht mag meinen Workflow zu ändern. Ich habe vollstes Verständnis die Weiterentwicklung einer App über ein Abo zu finanzieren, aber hier empfinde ich es als unfair: 1) Hätte ich mir für Bestandskunden, die die App immerhin irgendwann mal gekauft haben, ein reduziertes Angebot gewünscht. Macht idR jede andere App so, wenn plötzlich ein Abo kommt. Hätte man sicherlich auch etwas die Verkaufszahlen pushen können, wenn man bspw. „Spezialangebot für Bestandskunden: Bis zum 30.10 für 7,99€ Einmalzahlung die gesamte App für immer freischalten“. Hier gab es noch nicht mal ein fürs 1. Jahr kostenfreies / reduziertes Abo. Naja, bad publicity ist ja auch publicity. 2) Hat sich in der App wirklich schon lange nichts mehr getan. Großartige neue Features sind auch nicht zu erwarten (was soll man da auch noch hinzufügen, ohne die App kompliziert zu machen?). Wüsste ehrlich gesagt nicht wofür in diesem Fall ein Abo gerechtfertigt ist 🤷♂️ Ich bin wie gesagt auf Easy Letter umgestiegen. Kann alles was „Briefe“ bisher konnte auch in der kostenlosen Version. Ein Abo benötige ich in der App nicht.

Crash from the start.
Sadly, as much as I want to use this, the app won't even open. It takes so long to load, my iPad goes to sleep before I can get the slightest sign its working. I think it needs a bug fix.

Bien pratique
Bonne application, bien pratique. La possibilité de signer dans l'app serait un plus, sans devoir passer par une autre. Pour info, il est possible de déplacer l'adresse du destinataire ( dans les options, position de l'adresse. Il suffit de changer les valeurs, gauche et par exemple 13 ou 14 et le tour et joué. Idem pour la hauteur de l'adresse).

This is such a waste of money as every time I try to open the app it crashes immediately and returns to home screen. You need to fix it urgently.
Great app
This is the first "office type app" that I've found that lets me print to my Epson printer. Smart office 2 claims it can do this but believe me it can't, certainly not with my printer, it can't even find it!! This app links with Epson iPrint seamlessly, hopefully some future updates will provide more options for layout etc but until then get this and you will not be disappointed ...... COS IT WORKS :) 4/5 only because I wanna push the developer for some nice options perhaps like saving in different format .... .doc .pdf etc Thank you Mr Uebelacker
