Nice app for invites
Easy to use and all in one place, for me the premium was too expensive since it charges per guest. Ended up using a free template and worked perfectly
Updated the app, now it won’t work
I updated the app so I could make some birthday invitations. The update is glitching and throwing out the Not Authorized error code 10178. I usually enjoy the app, but this is not ok.
Share the Photos - Needs testing and Fixed
I’m using latest version of app with iPhone and ran into photos upload issue from phone; if I upload more than two photos at a time, app just crashes. I uploaded 2 photos at a time…took long to upload 25 photos. Now if I try to access photos from my past event, it crashes.

Lack of free options
I’ve used evite for years but lately there are fewer free options! This was the whole reason I started using them! I wanted to save on postage which is irrelevant now. It’s too bad that making money takes priority over providing a great service. What is the point in posting ads when you’re just going to charge us for the card anyway? Also, the whole requiring a nickname to post a review is ridiculous! They are always taken so people give up and don’t post anything. Super shady!
Love but…
Love evite, but just one request… could you fix the glitch that doesn’t allow you to start editing an invite, save it, and finish it later. Having to start all over again is a pain.
Sometimesy
If the app works, it’s great, but I can’t remember the last time it worked well. Things I see: You can’t see messages unless you’ve RSVP’ed (except that it’s says I RSVP’ed Yes). When someone sends you a link the app opens to the general page, not the invitation itself. So you have to keep closing the app and trying again. Honestly, not reliable enough for me to use it or want to use it. Sucks. Used to be good.
Prompts for email address when RSVPing
Every time I RSVP I’m required to enter my email address. *You have my email address, I’m logged in with it.* This is tedious and annoying.
So Easy
Evite is so easy for parties! It organizes and keeps track of the guest list for you and has so many templates for you to choose from!

It costs money to just upload a photo of your choice and put text over it
Glitchy
Very Glitchy App. Bought the premium version for upgrading some options. Trouble getting payment through. Said declined even though my account was charged. Finally acknowledged the payment Added a photo gallery section and have yet to be able to figure out how or where to upload them. Also, by the way, if you’re having trouble loading your contacts, go into settings and allow the access. (I had that problem too.)
Receiving issues
The app makes cute invites, but I’ve had multiple people tell me they never received the text for the invite so I’ve had to go through my list and see if people had actually received it. The ones that didn’t RSVP or say viewed are the ones that I at knew to at least contact to send the information to.
Good for invites but not a great app
I like the website for making invitations but the app is poorly made. I opened it to confirm the address for a party, and instead of showing the invitation it went through a whole animation of an envelope opening (even though I had already viewed the animation multiple times). Then even after leaving the party, the app kept running in the background even though I kept opening it and closing it repeatedly. I finally had to uninstall and delete the app from my phone just get it to close. I won’t download it again unless I have to!

Super user friendly app process which provides awesome free features. Love it, thanks for providing this service.
Don’t recommend
The free version is ridiculously difficult to use. Features change regularly and your guests will be spammed ad nauseam.

I updated my iPad and app and now I cannot edit my WEDDING INVITATION I have tried everything so please fix this I’ve had enough of this

I’m enjoying having this app and using it. It seems to be very streamlined and intuitive and user friendly.
No way to view messages
People have been replying to my evite and there’s no way to view their messages. Bummer since it resulted in people missing the event. You’d think this would be a prominent feature 🙄
Where is "what to bring"
Looks like this function disappeared since this spring ? Am I blind or did it really went away ?
Keeps crashing
This is so frustrating, I keep trying to edit an invitation and the entire app freezes. After five or six times, I finally switched to the website.

Ruined my birthday
Apparently, when sending a message or update/change to your event, it is sent via email instead of via texted! I originally sent the Evite via text to everyone. That’s the only information I had on my guests! The only thing I changed was the date. It was the same place same time. Instead of having a guest of 15 I ended up with four! Completely ruined my birthday dinner! I will never use Evite again!

Every time I have entered event details it freezes and I have to restart all over
Convenient but Lacking....
This app is so convenient and easy to use but there are a lot othings that can be improved: -deleting guests from list(error message) -poll option not available -what to bring not available -icon notification says there’s 31 but there’s really only 1 new notification -if you delete guests on the website it doesn’t update on the app

My go to app for invitations! Easy to use, keeps track of guests and good invitation options!
Don’t use for any formal occasions
Lacks customization needed for a wedding or any formal event. Things you’d expect to work like customizing a text message don’t exist. If you pay your recipients still get hit with ads. Very very disappointed.
Easy/quick/lots of choice
So easy and quick to use, really loved it. Only down side is I sent as a text and my family and friends said they were scared to open as it did look like a scam. So would recommend you send a f/u text to invitees that you sent an evite
Not for Use in Australia
The app doesn’t allow texting, managing and sending to AU mobile numbers.
WhatsApp integration
This would be a great app if it had WhatsApp integration. A lot of parties are initiated through a WhatsApp group chat. How good would it be if you could send the invite to everyone in the group through one WhatsApp message? Doodle can do this so why not this app?

Seeking refund
i did their lowest tier for 30 invites. The texts sent out have no identifying information on it so my guests have been afraid to open it thinking it is fraudulent or a scam. I am now having to reach out to everyone on our guest list on my own to let them know about the party and that the link is safe. Tried to contact customer support and got nowhere. Very disappointed as I was recommended this app by a family member who’s evites were sent out just fine.

Doesn’t load invites
Every time I am sent a direct link to an invite, it doesn’t load and doesn’t show up. They have to manually add my phone number and email address!
Good app but...
Would be nice to be able to cut and paste email addresses. Not all emails are in my contacts/address book. Had to manually enter 30 email contacts. Took way too long.

I use this exclusively. User friendly.
Hot garbage
I’m sorry, but somehow evite has gotten WORSE over the years. How you take a platform that has worked well for decades and make it this bad (all while charging for services that used to be free) is beyond me. It’s AWFUL. I will never use this platform again, and will find somewhere else to host event info. Absolutely awful.

Zero stars, not one!
The app does not notify me by email, text or otherwise when I get an invitation. The only way I find out I got an invitation is when the inviter contacts me directly to ask me why I didn't reply. There is apparently no way to fix this and when I write for help there is no response.

I have used eVite for years. I love the convenience of it. I also love that you can text or email the invitations. I wish that there were more templates though.
App keeps crashing
The app keeps crashing and you can’t delete contacts you added!! You can only uncheck the contact.. soo unpractical... and if you add an additional page of info, it’s only white and doesn’t match the invitation..
