Bullies
I’ve been bullied by the EDF app into increasing my monthly payment by more than £25 a month against my will even though my account will be more than £300 in credit at the end of this month. This isn’t acceptable and I’m very unhappy about it.

I asked you to leave our payment as it was but you decided to lower it so I don’t understand why you ask me to say anything about that because you don’t listen.
was Okay
The app used to load swiftly with face recognition, .but now after latest update it stalls. I have to close (slide up )the remains of the opened app from the last time I used it. seem to reset it and it loads okay it’s just a nuisance. Otherwise, it’s a good app.

Can’t install the app
This is pathetic. And infuriating. I’m being told that l’m on an old version of the app and l should update it. I press, update. It takes me to a page that says, requires iOS 16.4 or later but I can download an earlier version that will work. I press, open, and it takes me to the previous page telling me l’m on an old version and please update it. I press update and it takes me to the page l’ve just been on. I press, open, and it takes me back to the first page. I’m on some kind of feedback ping pong loop. The app worked perfectly well before you changed it to something slightly more confusing, and now I can’t even get that.
Changing DD amount
Brilliant, my account is in credit by more than £500!! I can change the DD myself. Except I can’t, I had to take the recommendations. Send me my credit!! Please
Great when it works
The app is very good and i tuitive butbit keeps losing my FaceId and then i have to put my password in. Very frustrating and needs fixing

Gas meter
Still waiting for an engineer to fix gas meter have been waiting for years and i keep getting asked to send readings in when you ahould be fixing the meter!!!
App no longer works.
Yet another app update that makes it useless as the update stops it working on my older iPad that will not update past IOS 15. Although this says that it will work in one section of the App Store, another section says that it requires IoS 16 or above. Why do you have to change things for the worse when you had a perfectly acceptable working app for entering meter readings and viewing bills etc. We cannot all afford to go and splash out on new hardware just because of unnecessary software updates. Let’s have access to the last compatible version PLEASE.
Tariff change
Spoke to Nicola over phone agreed simply fixed 28 v7 when I looked at contract I had been put on simply fixed v6 which wasn’t what I asked for. Ihave since changed this to simply exclusive fixed 28 v4

Direct debit misuse
It’s not good enough that money is removed from my account when I’m over £800 in credit. Surely the direct debit should not take money in these circumstances.
Excessively fussy design
The new design has over done it. It is now harder to visually navigate the App that was the case with the previous design. There also problems around Face ID. The App is now requiring two face scans to authenticate. The Face ID settings are also reset for no reason every time the App is updated. In short, the failings of the App cost more time and effort than it saves.

Not able to fix my Smart meter even though new. Wasted so much time
Not the best!!!
I have a smart meter - doesn’t work so I submit readings every month. It is now 3 months since I have had a bill!!! It is only when I basically send an email asking why this is happening that they do a bill, then once again it is no bills!!!!

But as other when it comes to EDF getting my meters quickly but like others they do not work this is not acceptable and EDF do nothing will be leaving this company asap when you do not listen to your customers you will fail in the morning mr
