The account Fiend1 and Fiend2 both after I blocked the other one (so it is the same person) went and wrote on my wall cussing me out making things up and bad mouthing me simply cause I said I’m not adding anyone right now as neighbors, the amount of neighbors i have right now I can keep up with that is why. I have a very busy life outside of this game, when I play this game i do it to relax not come back to getting cussed out it disturbed so many neighbors that saw all of that.
What a difference!
The latest upgrades are fantastic. The game is faster. Cooking and serving is so simple. And, as someone who redecorates often, the new floor tool make my hobby so much better. Kudos!
Pop ups galore
Used to adore this game so redownloaded and remembered instantly why I deleted it. 9 pop ups on opening. Soon as i cooked a dish. Immediately hit with an ad. Totally destroys user experience

Ive been playing for many years, its enjoyable & a lot better since the updates.
Long Time Player Disappointed
I’ve had this game on my phone for a few years now. I would always play for a while and then stop then pick it up again and then stop. I put a lot of money into the game as well. I typically buy gems when they go on sale usually the 100 or 275 pack. However I’m completely disgusted with the ads in the game after this latest update. Every time you touch the ovens it’s ads, ads, ads 😭. It’s completely disruptive to the playing experience and extremely frustrating as someone who’s put money into the game. Too bad devs haven’t implemented some system where you can get ads or just like $2.99 to be ad free. The game used to be ad free. It also used to be affordable for with the in game coins and many of the decorations weren’t locked behind gems like expanding your bakery. The game was golden some years ago but over time it’s only gotten worse and devs more greedy. I’ll likely stop spending what money I already was and put the game down permanently. Sad & disappointing.
Remove all spoiled items
Serving and preparing all food at once is great but can we also get removing all spoiled items at once too and the gift giving and receiving needs an update as well. It shouldn’t take 7-8 days to get enough part to build.
Ugh
I want to love this game, & restaurant story. But they need to fix the ads when you open the game it's freaking ridiculous, way way way too many. If you are going to place ads, at least give us gems for it!! It’s one after the other & after watching ads for the gems they offer, another ad!! But not only ads they have these pop ups too. I’ve been playing this game before it had ads, just the annoying pop ups for the other games they used to advertise. So prob over ten years but I don’t know how much longer I can support.
Updates are ok
Please stop all the pop ups when the game opens. Please add a category where we can see the items we've already bought. Please make items searchable by category. Each category could have a subcategory based on color, theme, etc. Thanks

Way too many pop ups when u get on! Been playing for many years and that is getting so annoying. Plus where are all the improvements to the game I can’t tell the difference in this game from 10 years ago until now
Lots of Glitches
At numerous times you don’t receive all 20 gifts, even when the gifting area is grayed out. I don’t understand why some of my neighbors have so many ovens & stoves out at one time & I can only put out 18 or 19 at a time. It’s 49 gems to unlock one appliance after I put the 18 appliances out. Why is that again that some neighbors have so many appliances out at the same time?
Countertop Disappearing
Don’t get me wrong I love this game but there is no reason I should log out for 2.5 seconds and come back to an entirely wiped out restaurant. The time and money put into this game is NOT worth my work/patience not lasting one simple game close out.

One of my favorite games, such a stress reliever until it's not! The ads kill this game for me, right now it won't even let me play bc it says to update it, I'm rerouted to the App Store and it's nothing to update; or when I click on it takes me into an ad and the ads are the worst, bc you're in the ad for 5 minutes and there is no x to click so u have to completely close the game and come back! I always redownload this game but once I get to a certain level I just have to delete it!

I have been a fan of this game for a long time and just like all these other games you guys are scamming people I try to collect the gyms that’s supposed to be free and they’re not free or they mess up the amount of gyms I meant to say this game is a scam y’all take stuff away give stuff to us. It’s just all a scam and we have to spend our money and you guys are sitting back rob us. I hate this game Now. I have been playing this game on multiple devices for years and I love it so much. It’s super quaint and super cute. However I do wish it was easier to get gems for free rather than constantly have to pay for them to get cute items and I wish we could earn more faster. I also think that how much it cost to expand is a little obnoxious, but I mean it is a great game.
Getting too expensive to play
I’ve been playing this game for well over a decade. In the past few months buying appliances has increased from a low of $15,000 per average to $30,000 an appliance. Cost of food has increased by $20 for each time you cook a dish. The problem now is there is such a price gouge to start the process, but the cost per serving still is 90% the same 4 cents collected since the start of the game over 15 years ago. Rip Off!
don’t care for the new update.
been playing on and off for the past 15+ years and randomly with the new update my registers keep moving and now i’ve noticed i barely make any money. plus with the new events it’s a lot more “items” needed and i hate it. i’m missing out on coolish stuff cause i don’t have enough neighbors to gift me the items and it takes me almost a week to complete the first 2 ovens or so without spending gems. it’s easier when the things needed for the new stoves were only 10+ items now it’s at least 30-40….
Bakery Story
I have been playing Bakery Story for over ten years. I play this game every day, and it’s wonderful. The only thing I find difficult is the 15 day goals. They take a lot of time to complete and I barely finish them on time. Sometimes, I even have to spend gems just to complete the goal. I would really appreciate it if the goals could be made a little easier.
What is this??
Um what the heck happened to the black and brown customers in the game?? The game used to to have a variety of different customers. I used to play this game on my mother’s phone and there were DEFINITELY POC/ black customers. Did the new developers seriously remove them?? That’s despicable. & the fact that we can’t change our baker is baffling too. Not everybody is white with blue eyes!!!

A daily player here.
Love the game but HATE it when this happens. No matter how many times I try I can’t get on the game this morning. I just keep getting a connection error. Nothing to do with my internet so must be a game issue. All the food I’ve made for the mini goal is going to spoil with no compensation for it doing so. Ugh. Makes me not want to play goals.
Used to be great
I played this as a young teenager on my mums iPhone, redownloaded it but omg the pop up ads make me not want to play it anymore!!! I’d do a few quid for ad free, it used to be fun but the ads are ruining it, and that “like us on Facebook” pop up has no X button so you have to close and restart the game

Enjoyed playing when i was young and rediscovering now.
So heartbreaking
I have been playing this game since childhood, max level, and always come back. But every single time I do I remember why I don’t enjoy playing the same as I once did. - for a few reasons. One, the Goals pop ups, the pop ups telling you about the events etc.. I have to sit and click through it FOREVER before I even get to get into playing it drives me crazy and makes me dread opening the app. Two, how now there are also advertisements, the longest advertisements too. Like what in the world? Is there an option to buy no ads? Can’t find any. So infuriating I just closed the game and came to write this review because I miss enjoying this game. It’s such a gem, that’s been ruined ! :(

Part of my life
I’ve been playing Bakery Story for 13 years now. It becomes part of my life now and I have so many great neighbors with daily communication. I even met with some of them in person!! When we are sad, we encourage each other and when we are happy, we celebrate each other. I totally enjoy Bakery Story as part of my life!!
Buggy, bad ui, cash grab
This game used to be fun, then s8 got greedy. The goals are set up to where you have to request parts from neighbors to build machines. It’s between 10 (for very old machines) and 72 parts for building. We can only request 20-some odd parts per day. They want you to spend money. The UI is clunky and hasn’t been updated, but the advertisements sure do work every single time. The goals aren’t fun anymore, they’re not achievable unless you spend real life money or make a dish, delete it and make a new one to farm for parts. That’s awful. The show bakery, like the default npc character that can’t be removed from friends list? The food in that bakery is all spoiled and gross. It hasn’t been updated in a decade. A DECADE. Disappointing and insulting
Could do with less pop ups
Too many pop ups and you end up buying stuff with gems by accident especially when it freezes. The throw away button when your food rots doesnt work. Should optimise how floors and decor are placed,as it requires too much clikcing

Well it was one of my favourites until u started putting in ads ,,it has really makes me mad..I play all the story games n I feel that if anyone is putting money in to advance then we definitely shouldn’t have ads popping up and this is one of the last games that didn’t have ads,so because of ads my overall gameplay has gone down and I’m slowly cutting out games or anything with ads…ads take up Too much time and I don’t want to be stuck playing games all day …take out the ads …please!

Been playing this game in total for a decade. Latest update with the batch prepare /serve option is a total game changer. I'm at level 100 and don't plan on stopping anytime soon
You cant even play
Ive had this game since I was a little girl! I loved it. Now, once you open the app theres a million pop ups. And then without even being in the game for 30 seconds, you get an interactive ad that just never ends. I don’t want to play some random game on an ad, Im trying to play bakery story!!!!!! Will update my review if it fixes
My Childhood Restored
I’m really happy to see my childhood game is being upgraded at last, it’s about time! Not a fan of the AI generated parts, but really glad it’s finally getting some love at least.

Classic but needs upgrading
I’ve played this game on and off for years and every time I come back to it, it’s always exactly the same - which is both a compliment and an insult. The amount of in game pop ups you get when you first open the game is infuriating and actually makes me rush doing things to avoid these, only to then when I think I’m free to get an actual ADVERT. There are many upgrades to this game that would help bring it up to 5 stars for me but here are a couple that come to mind: 1) in-game related pop ups minimised to once per day - let these pop up when you first check in on the game for the day and then don’t keep showing us this throughout the day. Regular players know where to check for the goals, etc. don’t keep reminding us. 2) make an option to remove all pop up ads - I’d happily pay £2.99 to remove those annoying ads so I can just enjoy the game without being disrupted. 3) give option to search for food items you want to make instead of having to mindlessly scroll to find it. 4) for food items that are still to be unlocked, we should be told what goal we need to do/achieve to unlock it just by simply clicking on the food item. That’s all I can think of for now, but this game has so much potential for more love if they just tweaked it ever so slightly.

I completed an assignment that granted me 10,000 extra coins from 34,000, but when I checked again after five minutes, my 10,000 coins had disappeared. I didn't make any new dishes or invest any money in my bakery.

Too many challenges and no time to just relax and enjoy the game. Also we should be able to gift everyone and non active players should be automatically removed.
Decent game
I have been playing this game on and off for years now. I juste recently came back because it really is a nice game to just sit, manage your little bakery and relax. However, I do not see a lot of changes in all these years. Not sure if it's because the number of players decreased but just little improvements here and there would be nice. For example, whenever you want to send a gift, if your neighbour requests food, I have to endlessly scroll to look for food gifts. If it could be categorized it would be amazing. It could be something like "current event" or "Food gifts." Also, instead of having to add someone by their ID we could simply send a friend request and wait for the person to deny or accept. The comments are still the best feature of this game in terms of socializing with other players, but having a little space for a description of our bakery or ourselves where we can write any messages we want others to see would be great. It's little improvements like these that would have been a nice thing to see after all these years. Of course, it could also be easier to get diamonds via the current events or through missions, but then again not sure how devoted the devs are to this game. Overall, it's still a decent game with lots of room for improvement.
