I loved this game when it came out. I just remembered it after having many different phones. My heart is happy playing this game!
No longer fun or worth playing
I played this years ago before the paywalls and the levels were doable without needing to spend any real money. The ads and paywalls have taken what was a wonderful relaxing game into a slog that is impossible to get through. Disappointing!

Needs too much money to advance to new levels
It stops giving you money for trying the levels and failing so if you don’t have enough money to buy upgrades, candles, or coffee then you’re stuck on a level w nothing you can do about it. You can’t even go back and replay levels to make money. They also took away the two assistants that I paid money for! Anything you buy should be there forever.
Unreasonably difficult
This game is literally set up so you lose. Customers come in with one heart and they’ll come in pairs. You have to pay actual money for help from having employees. Even if you buy the employees, they can only do so much, so you’re still basically running the whole thing alone. You can’t even purchase upgrades with your coins because the upgrades are too pricey and you barely gain enough coins from each level to purchase the upgrades. Plus, some of the upgrades don’t unlock until you reach a certain level but to be able to reach higher levels you need more upgrades. Make it make sense. It’s an addicting game and super fun but it’s definitely greedy and way too difficult to even progress so there’s really no point in playing.

I’ve liked this game and played for many years. I actually paid money for the ad free and purchased a few of the helper upgrades. I have checked in consistently to collect the daily reward but haven’t played in a meaningful way in a while since maxing out the levels. I decided to revisit and when to play only to be bombarded by ads!! Which I paid to not see. Then I go into the level and ALL of my upgrades are gone!! I went into the menu to restore purchases and my ad free status came back as well as my first round upgrades. However, ALL of my helpers are using their heart upgrade. I had everyone but the tea lady leveled up to the max. I messaged customer support but have heard NOTHING back. DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR MONEY OR TIME!
Boosters create deadlock
boosters like tea and candle should not be diminished if a level was not passed. Otherwise u literally can’t pass a level if u need them (even with paid upgrades), because u need money to buy them, and can’t get more money if u don’t pass the level. It’s a deadlock. Tea and candles should be replenished if u didnt pass the level and didn’t earn money from using them.
Childhood Nostalgia
This is the first game I played at 4 years old and now at 21 it’s still so fun and relaxing. The graphics have stayed refreshingly the same as well as the content of the game and it feels so calming yet skill based since it’s a time management game. I love that there are different customers and ways to upgrade yet the difficulty of the game keeps increasing. One thing I would love to see in the future is even more types of tasks and maybe some storyline or player interaction. Thank you for this amazing game GameCafe and I would love to be a part of any new projects or designs as an artist myself :)
New update made game trash and stole purchased upgrades
Skip this one. At a certain point you can’t advance without continually purchasing upgrades. The latest upgrade removed my previously purchased upgrades and forces you to watch ads.
Customer care
I love this game. But I think they should have some options for free coins watching adds or making no tickets while visiting old cities that we already played. Also my game is facing a technical glitch when I changed my phone. Standby flights was 8 hours before now it takes me 16 hours which takes a whole day for me to play again. I texted customer care but no reply. Also if for everything we have to pay in the game , they should something give offers and discounts for the paid purchases. Sometime a have to wait 15-16 days to collect money from daily bound and buy staffs.
Made to make you Pay
The levels get very very difficult and stressful. Its hard to enjoy the game when every single thing costs money (even going back to play previous levels…) I even had to pay for the workers (2.99 a piece). I would honestly say save yourself the trouble and try playing on PC. Unless you have like 50$+ to spend
New pay to play update is disappointing
This was my favorite game to play for 10 years to replay over and over. The new updates require requires you to pay for features that were previously unlock-able as you leveled up. Not only did I pay for the initial download, but now you’d have to repay for these features every time you redownload as it resets your account. Super disappointing and hope they restore it like how it was.

Pay to win
This game is impossible to get through. At some point you become locked out of progression with insanely difficult levels. When you fail, it still depletes your consumables like tea and candles which you need to prevent customers from getting angry and leaving. Because they get depleted no matter the outcome, you will lose all your money trying to replenish these, making the level outright impossible in the end when you can’t buy them anymore. To make matters worse, the game doesn’t let you go back to earlier levels you’ve cleared to grind money for the harder level. So you are essentially stuck unless you pay real money for coins. The game also forces you to use coins to purchase “flights” to travel and expand the spa to other countries. Which worsens the issues from before. The game is so greedy. This problem should not exist if you’ve already paid for the spa assistants, but it does. The levels are also impossibly difficult in and of itself. Customers come in pairs, locking out regions of the spa until you perform their complicated service requests. In the meantime, other customers come in, starting with only 1 patience bar, lose it in seconds, and leave in a rage. It is insane that with how many customers come in at once that the patience level doesn’t start between 4-5 bars. Especially because many levels are designed where if you lose even one customer, you will lose the level no matter what. Overall, do not play this because it’s a waste of your time. No matter how hard you try, it is rigged so you lose.
Stuck
I used to play this game on my Nintendo DS as a child and was so excited to see this on the app store. Just started playing a few weeks ago and became obsessed but now i’m stuck at a point where I can my beat levels and I have no money for upgrades or candles/tea. It’s a shame I might have to delete it and start over fresh

they really took a classic game from my childhood and filled it full of ads and micro transactions 😭😢 RIP A REAL ONE. the gameplay is still so fun but having to watch an ad before every level and waiting 8hrs to switch locations absolutely kills it. pls do better yall

I really like the game so much. But the high the level is, the more possible to play. Cause everything need money, but how to get the money is hard except you paid with real money. And i dont like this part. I hope you upgrade and make it more capable, cause the game is so addictive

they make you wait 8 hours or you have to pay to get there sooner. and if they just gave us another minute per round we could get that round done. candles cost so much and yet they only let us get a few hundred dollars per round.

What happened?
I played this game all the time 13 years ago and I loved it. However, after installing it again recently, I was shocked to find out everything about this game has changed for the worse. The paywall, the time crunch and the overall strategy that you have to use to play completely ruined it.
Very addictive
Really loved this game, but I spent an absolute fortune getting upgrades. A ridiculous amount of money when you can play the older version for free and don’t need to spend apart from initial game. Too difficult to level up without the upgrades. Wouldn’t recommend getting it unless you have money to throw away!

It’s not fun and fair anymore. Hard to upgrade. It’s not about how much you make anymore in order to upgrade it’s about stars and badges now which is dumb. Can’t complete levels if you can’t upgrade.

Used to be everything was paid for by the coins you earned. For example the helpers. You could get them in the later levels if you earned enough coins. You never had to spend real money on this game or pay for the flights from island to island. Bring back the old game

Played 10 years ago, now there’s a paywall
I played this game over 10 years ago and LOVED it! Thought of it again and decided to pick it up since I was nostalgic. But now to level up you need to pay real money and not just invest time. Essentially there’s a level where the only way to move up is to have assistants who help you and those people you can only get by paying $5. I don’t mind ads, but not being able to play the game without paying is annoying. Especially because before these assistants could be bought with coins you earn and not real money. I’ll be deleting this game

Ridiculous Monetization
It started off well enough, but then after two levels it starts requiring you to watch an ad before every level, or you could pay to have no ads, as it also reminds you before every level. Travelling between stages takes 8 real-time hours, or you can spend a huge chunk the currency you gathered in game, instead of using it to upgrade your setup, though coincidentally you could pay real money for that too. Some upgrades that you used to able to save up for in game can now only be bought with real money, and not a ‘pay once to access them’ thing, but paying for each individual one. Playing for free is virtually impossible, unless you’re content to only play 5-10 minutes each day

Too much to pay for
It’s seriously ridiculous how much you have to pay for in this game. You can’t get any staff without using real money. You have to pay to fly between worlds, like it’s just absurd.
Bring back DS version with no in-game purchases
I used to play this on the Nintendo DS and it was one of my favourite games to play. I’m sad that this is really a money grab because you can’t beat levels after a while without spending money and moving to cities takes time. I would prefer spending $5 on the full app with no ads and no in game purchases.
