Delicious World: Fun, Addictive, and Occasionally Extortion
I love this game. It’s cute, fast-paced, ridiculously addictive, and apparently I am now emotionally invested in Emily getting food to Table 6 before some impatient cartoon woman loses her mind. BUT. Every so often you hit a level where the game basically says: “Oh, you’d like to win this one? That’ll be $4.99.” I’ll replay a level 47 times. I’ll upgrade the kitchen. I’ll move like Gordon Ramsay possessed by the spirit of a hummingbird. I’ll serve every customer with superhuman efficiency. Still lose by one goddamn customer. Then Delicious World sidles up like a tiny digital loan shark: Need three more customers? We can help with that… 💰 So yes, I love Delicious World. I play it constantly. I highly recommend it. But sometimes it feels less like a cooking game and more like I’ve wandered into a very adorable casino where the slot machines serve pancakes.
Fun but…
There are too many levels that are literally impossible to beat. Even if you play them perfectly. Which means you have to use resources…and eventually buy resources. Not an issue if it’s occasionally…but it’s all the time. Forget about this one.
Fun game
Seems like a lot more advertising. Wish you could buy it for pc and just play it. Not my favorite Delicious Emily game.

This is an interesting game BUT if you attempt to purchase a package (I was attempting to purchase the Independence Day package) they overcharge you. The package I tried to purchase was advertised at $39.99 but they charged by bank $51.27 through Apple. When I attempted to contact them, my message was ignored. Play the game but don’t waste your money!!!!!!!
Love the game - but unskipable ads now!
I played through quite a bit of this game a few years ago and redownloaded it again recently and restarted my account. I love this game! Gives me a dinner dash feel, but focusing on the cooking aspect. The story is the thing that keeps me coming back! The little cutscenes are fun and the animation is well done imo, especially for a mobile game. I do feel like each restaurant has too many levels you are required to do to progress the story. I appreciate that there are different goals but it just isn’t varied enough and it’s a grind to get through some of it. It doesn’t take too long for me to upgrade everything and I don’t really struggle with any levels so maybe that’s why it feels extra repetitive. I also was disappointed when I realized they are now forcing you to watch ads unless you become a subscriber. I’m really bummed they would change it from optional ads for double coins to now forcing to watch ads. Instant delete. Bummed, but I can’t stand playing games that force you to watch any ads.
Frustrated 💔
very frustrated with the ending of the game. Having played since its launch only to be left to a honestly boring ending was very disappointing. I would like to believe that one day, delicious world will get the proper ending it deserves (#patrick and Emily endgame) but I’m not sure if there was ever going to be a good ending in the first place. Honestly, after playing level after level, it does not feel fulfilling and now I wonder about every other productive task I could have done instead of playing a game where its own ending is incomplete. 😡
Ads messing up game sound every time!
I do enjoy the gameplay and story of this game. But it’s becoming pretty intolerable to play recently. Every time I play an ad it turns off the game sound and I have to restart the game to get the game sound back on. Please fix!

Way too difficult after season two
The game was fun up until you get to the Indian restaurant and it’s incredibly difficult to pass the levels and upgrade the kitchen. Do not download this game. If you have an anxiety disorder, it will trigger it.
Great but too expensive
I love playing this game but sometimes you make the prices of the food too expensive. 25k for the upgrade of a food item that is only gonna had 1 point is ridiculous. Please consider the feedback and changing the prices of the food upgrades sometimes. Other than that I love the game.
Disappointed
Wouldn’t recommend leaving a review until you reach season 2. Game was great for season 1. Coins from season 1 do not carry over. Season 2 seems aimed at forcing players to spend money or watch a ton of ads in order to be able to complete levels.
Great, but one problem
The ads very frequently cause the sound to break. They aren't very frequent, so the ads themselves aren't the problem, but when they do happen, the sound breaks and stops playing roughly 80% of the time after the ad is finished.

It was fun until season 2
The fact that the coins you earn from season 1 disappear in season 2 killed the fun of the game for me. It is impossible to pass levels without buying diamonds. At the beginning of the first world the upgrades were able to be purchased from money earned in the level, in season 2, it’s practically impossible. Then you can’t pass the levels without the upgrades. It really sucks especially with how much you earn by the end of season 1. And the cost of the upgrades are the same or higher as the are at the end of season 1 but now you start out broke. I really enjoyed this game until that.
My Favorite
I love the game but it found a way to incorporate way too many ADs . As Soon as the level ends it plays an ad then it gives you an option to double coins then you are watching another AD 😩. Also , for some reason I keep losing the sound during the level so I don’t get any ‘dings’ when the food is done . But the sound comes back during the AD … how convenient . I would have to force close/swipe the game off the screen & reopen just to get the sound back .

Missed the mark
I thought Emily was already married to Patrick O’Malley, for one thing. Could have done something else with the relationship she already established with him instead of making it look like they either divorced or she’s cheating on him. It isn’t clear that this is before Patrick and Paige. The gameplay is fast-paced and doesn’t hold the same value as the other games. The story isn’t as compelling, either. You can do better. I’m gonna go play the older games now and delete this one.
Delicious World
I like this game. It’s not hard to learn. The levels are not overly challenging. The ads aren’t overwhelming. It’s fun and relaxing when you have a little break on your shift. I would recommend this game to my friends.
Cost prohibitive
Since starting season 2 all the food upgrades cost too much compared to how much is being earned and you can’t complete levels without upgrades. I think it’s probably to get you to buy coins but it just leads me to not play.

I have been playing this game for years. I love the new improvements and the story line. Great gameplay. For me no ads.
Not fun anymore
Now I remember why I stopped playing this game a while ago. As the game levels up it just gets harder and harder. The fun gets zapped right out of you. I understand some of the higher levels and each episode gets tough. But it’s harder to earn money for upgrades. Just let us have fun. I really like this game but refuse to use so much money to buy items to help me get through the game.
Progression and ads
It’s a bit weird that the subscription doesn’t allow you to skip ads to double coins and this is unclear after I’ve subscribed. Graphics and gameplay is great though.
Delicious Emily
I have tried time and time again to play this game ‘maybe it’s me but I just find it too difficult and end up getting frustrated and deleting it’,maybe an easier option in settings would be helpful because I really love all of the other Emily games,sorry to be negative
The worst ending
For four years I’ve been anticipating the Episode that would finally sail that ship that was Emily and Patrick But now Imma have to actually dream on cause that WILL NEVER HAPPEN, I miss the writers from Seasons 1 - 8, Season 9 Emily is so reckless, I could not have believed a more insufferable character could actually be her! And all for what? A love triangle that only existed to prolong the ship?? And that only lasted 15 Episodes!

Don’t really like this Emily
I played this game ages ago, and enjoyed it until Emily started sleeping with every guy she encountered. Left the game once two guys agreed to both date her at the same time. Yeah, I’m a prude I suppose, but this version of Emily will probably wind up with a disease or something

I love this game, but since when do we have to watch an ad after every level? The ad starts loading when I’m half way through the level and it makes the game glitchy, causing it to be unenjoyable and sometimes even failing the level. And than if I want to double my money I have to watch an other. And if a I watch more than 3 ads in a row the whole game just freezes off completely. Very disappointing! Just making the game very unenjoyable as you spend more time watching ads than playing! Might have to find a different game!
Used to be fun
I started to play this game a few years ago. It was fun then , nice balanced of fun and challenging . Until they changed it where if you played a previous level you only get certain amount of points not the full points earned in the level. This made it more difficult to upgrade as it takes longer to earn the amount needed. I’ve stopped after that update but I’ve recently decided to give it a try again , but it’s truly not fun anymore
Great game but too many levels!
I’ve been playing this consistently since 2019. Love the level designs, challenges, variety of recipes, and the story is adorable. I made it to Chapter 9 but unfortunately there’s too many levels in a single chapter. There used to be around 50 but now that there’s 3 parts to 52 levels, it gets really repetitive and it makes it difficult to want to continue. I LOVED this game but 156 rounds of the same level is simply too much. I tried to start back up again recently and then remembered why I needed a break… it just takes too long to progress to the next episode. I wish they’d go back to 50 levels an episode. This is the only game where I want LESS!

I have played the game but it won’t load
Amazing game but has technical issues!!
The storyline got me hooked!! It always leaves on cliffhangers so I'm motivated to keep playing despite the repetitiveness. Once you max out the restaurant you gotta keep doing the same levels over and over again, and can be a bit boring sometimes. But the story is still cool. I worked hard to get to the end of the Italy one and then my app stopped working saying "There is an unstable connection with our servers." I keep trying to get in but it wont let me, and when it does it kicks me out as soon I go on a level, wasting my hearts. I'm a bit disappointed because I was so close to the end of that level...
Unhappy
I love the delicious series, but this one is a little different and in season two is almost impossible to get coins to upgrade your items like there’s an a balance between the reward and beating the level. Yes, I understand making the levels harder, which is all fine, but it should be a balance just like in season one where you got enough coins to be able to upgrade throughout the levels
Why so hard
Season one was lots of fun, challenging but not impossible. The coins you earn don’t transfer to season 2, and the levels are way harder, the upgrades are very expensive, and the rewards are very minimal. Will likely delete since I can’t pass s2 e13. I’m not paying money for a game that plays ads this often.

Ridiculous settings
The balance between the leveling and the rewards are extremely bad. I was in season 2 episode 2 level 3. You need thousands coins to upgrade but you only get about one hundred coins or so. You have to use boosters.
Drives me mad!
I started to enjoy this game but on certain levels no matter how good or quick I am I lose even with the boosts helping me it’s just another ploy for you to part with your cash to buy diamonds so I’ve decided to delete the game
Not as good as before
Played this game on and off for quite some time now. However now safe to say it has gone down hill, you now need to subscribe 9.99 a month or almost 90 pounds for the year to no have to deal with ads. Not only are there now really annoying ads, whenever an ad pops up I have to restart my game because I lose my sound which is really annoying. Game not as good as before. Needs improving, don’t mind the ads but fix the glitch and give us the option to buy the game to get rid of the ads rather than having to subscribe!
Was really enjoying but now crashes constantly
Was really enjoying playing as something quiet to do when I’m up through the night with my baby… but after a couple of weeks it now crashes seconds after being opened every single time. Can’t play it at all. Hoping for an update soon but until then I can’t access it at all!

Just wanted to say love delicious world and am bummed to find out it’s probably over. Loved the characters, the silly storylines, learning about food around the world. Idk if I would have tried takoyaki or berbere if it weren’t for this game. Gonna miss this version of Francois, Emily, Patrick and although Sara isn’t really in the other games, I will miss her. I know there are glitches and some levels were a bit hard but still, no one does it like Delicious World. Congrats on a fabulous game!
What a waste
I’m glad I read the other reviews. I have played this game for years only for the developers to get greedier and greedier but I’m a sucker for romance and wanted to see Emily and Patrick end up together. I’m early on and thanks to other reviews I now they give us the big middle finger on that story and stopped making the game. So with that I’m uninstalling and not wasting another moment. I’ll find another fun game to play. ✌️
Love this game so so so much
This game is amazing but there’s only one problem the price for boosters and gems are I bit much but I get it they make money threw adds and gems but over than that’s it’s got great storyline great art great character design all the shops and food are unique the musics great it’s just a good game
Ads Problems
Your ads constantly freeze and ditched giving out rewards after watching them. Sometime they even permanently stuck to the screen blocking my view that I had to completely closed the app and lost the progress and credits
Special Events Repeating
This is a good time management game. Well-designed and satisfying. However, the various festive event stories (Christmas, Earth Day etc) have had the same plot for three years in a row now. Very boring and off-putting.
