OTP never arrives
Me and my wife never received the otp code through text/whatsapp to be able to sign up and use the app, had to use the physical bike station…
German phone number is working
I read many comments that this app wouldn’t work with a German phone number. But it actually does. And the setup was very convenient and easy. We enjoyed our bike ride
Known devil
The app is not at all friendly, crashes multiple times , each person has to download (forced download) to get the bike. Sometimes takes 15-20 mins to pick one bike and release..

Easy enough to use. Not the best transportation app, but certainly not the worst. “Gets the job done” is accurate
Doesnt work at ALL
Cant add payment info. Account reset multiple times. Cant sign in at all anymore. Never got to use because its so messed up. Better to walk…
Watch support
I love biking around on the Citi Bikes. It would be even better if I could ditch the cellphone and unlock a bike using only a watch with cellular. I’d love to be able to go to the beach and leave my phone at home.

Terrible app terrible service
Downloaded the app, tried to register, never received the code via text now the app is blocked can’t use the service and the terrible customer service is unavailable. Useless service getting an uber!

Why do not use the standard citi bike app like new york? It works way better.

Absolute garbage
App is absolute garbage and doesn’t register bikes being returned or show any indication that the bike was locked in when it was. The app looks like a 12 year old made it in 2003. Don’t waste your time or money on businesses that have no integrity or pride in what they do.
Where is the timer?!
Guys, it’s such a simple thing but why can’t I see how many bikes I have rented and their timers!! How do I know if you have checked me out?? This has all the scam criteria, and I can be charged whatever and no clue!! Not a decent level of app!!!! Very angry.
Works great
Bikes in good shape, and checking out and docking work fine. Fewer problems than Citibike in NYC. My only small complaint is the app can’t tell you where the closest ebike is.
Can only check one bike out
I’m with my wife and want to rent two bikes, but it says checkout limit exceeded after only one bike…. Really lame
Lots of issues
Gave 2 stars cause it’s an easy way to get around and decently priced. Lost 3 stars cause the UX and ui are terrible. Poorly thought out experience. Also sometimes tells me I didn’t check my bike back in even when I did. There’s so many small tweaks that could be done that would greatly improve the user experience
Convenient for Miami Beach
My family of four used this for transportation in Miami Beach (and a little in Miami, too) during 10 days in December.I felt the price of $35 per user for a month was very reasonable. Most bikes were in decent (not necessarily perfect) shape and the app was accurate in indicating the number of bikes and empty spots at any given station.
Citi bike scam
The bikes do not unlock after followed instructions. They charge your card and never unlock! I tried 4 different bikes and get charged for them and they never unlocked. I called the help number and they scam you into running your card again.
Crashing
It‘s crashing 49 out of 50 times. Hardly usable.
Fantastic
I don’t know why the reviews are so low, this app worked perfectly for me. I was able to rent a bike with no problem! It takes a second to update your location, but if you click on the person icon at the bottom left then it refreshes.
Card got scammed off this
Signed up and then that night my credit card and email got stolen
Much better than the scores
At the point of this writing, the overall score for this app is 1.8. This is completely at odds with my personal experience of the app, which is rudimentary in design, but worked perfectly fine. Miami’s South Beach area in particular is great for cycling and I want to encourage people to try it out.
horrible sucky app
15 years out updated. Pathetic that no one has put money into updating this app properly. Embarrassing for the city of Miami Beach.
Works well
As a visitor I found it really easy to use. The sign up was quick - just need a mobile no, email address and credit card. Hired 2 bikes 30mins later and there were no problems at all.
Piece of junk
I tried to rent a bike in south beach, it took my money but would not release the bike, I called customer service, they said there isn’t anything they can do. If there was a zero star I would have given that…the customer service lady was nice though.
Very poorly designed
Not only the service is horribly expensive (USD 24 for a 24 hours subscription) but the app is very poorly designed. It does not work offline. Any connection requires a full download of the stations. Sometimes it simply does not work (no station appears on the app). And contrary to NYC, there is unfortunately no more friendly alternative.
Worst app ever – fix it if you charge so much
This is the worst app. I tried with two different emails and it kept telling me that the user was already created, which makes no sense because I never created an account with this. This is the worst app. They should invest more money into making the app actually work, especially since they charge so much for the bike
