Terrible update
The app started crashing so I updated to a new version. This no longer allows a sports wash (or anything off the manual control) which is very frustrating as I bought the machine specifically because it had a sports setting.
Bilder laden nicht
Ich nutze ein IPhone 17 Pro Max. Seit dem Wechsel auf dieses Gerät laden in der App sämtliche Bilder nicht mehr. Auf dem vorherigen Gerät lief alles einwandfrei, ebenso wie auf dem IPhone 17 meiner Partnerin. Habe bereits alles möglich versucht um das Problem zu beheben. Aber ich denke es ist ein Rendering Fehler oder sowas. Evtl haben andere Nutzer ja genau das gleich Problem und man kann es mit einem zukünftigen Update fixen? Ansonsten bin ich sehr zufrieden mit der App.
Needs improvements
Although notifications and the app are showing the correct status, Live updates not working, that’s been broken for some time now. Also, delayed start is so unintuitive, a vastly over complicated process.
Gut mit Verbesserungspotenzial
Zeitanzeige im Widget ist noch immer fehlerhaft. Cleanprogramm für die Waschmaschine über die App starten wäre sinnvoll??? Warum fehlt so etwas? So wie eine Erinnerung an den Reinigungstyklus ggf. Mit Waschhistorie verknüpft. Bessere Favoriten und mehr Individualisierung wären wünschenswert.

Alles werkt nu prima. Kan er een mogelijkheid in de app gemaakt worden om de apparaten op de juiste volgorde te zetten?
No justification for such an appalling App
Needed to change my Wi-Fi password. Followed the process specified by AEG and it failed. Then it failed a 2nd time and a 3rd time and…. After half an hour it still refuses to connect and I’m losing the will to live. There’s no excuse for an App that the developers expect to take minutes to connect!
Overzichtelijk
Het is er overzichtelijk en je kunt zien waar de machines mee bezig zijn. Helaas blijft de app wel aangeven dat hij aan het spoelen is voor 27min. En ik krijg dat niet weg.
Live Aktivitäten funktioniert nicht
Die App spiegelt die Qualität der Maschine wieder. Grundfunktion gehen. Extras machen Probleme. Was mich wirklich nervt, ist die Tatsache, dass die Live Aktivitäten die aktuelle Restzeit nicht wirklich widerspiegeln. Entweder bewegt sich gar nichts bei der Anzeige auf dem iPhone oder es springt wild hin und her. Auch nachdem die App selber die Information gepusht hat, dass sie fertig ist, steht in Live Aktivität noch drin dass sie 1 Stunde braucht. Ich hab die Maschine erst seit zwei Wochen aber bei aller Liebe das ist so ein offensichtlicher Fehler. Da frag ich mich schon warum denn nicht gefixt wird.
Timer has been fixed.
After over a year, and countless people leaving negative reviews, the timer function has finally been fixed. This doesn’t absolve AEG of terrible customer service, but I’m glad it’s fixed. Empty standard responses of “your feedback is important and we have escalated it internally” are useless… give your customers honest insight to the problem and timescales required to fix problems. If it continues to work I’ll happily increase my review rating further.

Updates…
Unit was working fine until the update. I have a 7000 comfort air con unit. It no longer connects to the app. I’ve tried resetting/ reinstall/ all sorts. Unfortunately the unit is now essentially just a manual on/ off……. Basically lost the purpose I bought it for
AEG Staubsaugerroboter
Grundsätzlich eine gute App, die einfach zu bedienen ist. Bei unserem Staubsauger fehlt öfter mal die Verbindung zur App und ich kann mir leider sehr oft die Karte nicht ansehen, wo der Staubsauger gerade ist.
Zeit läuft nicht mehr korrekt
Leider läuft die Zeitangabe oben in der Mitteilung leider seit dem letzten Update nicht mehr sauber durch. Oben in der Vorschau steht dass noch 2h52 min übrig sind und wenn ich auf die App gehe, dann sind noch 8 min übrig. Das ist erst seit dem neuen Update so. Vorher hat es problemlos funktioniert.

Latest update has completely broken WiFi connectivity leaving me with an appliance without a remote. You should be ashamed of yourselves. Looks like I’ll be writing to your CEO again. Fix it.

Why can I not set a timer on this app? The message states the engineers are working on it? Why is it taking so long???
App lädt Karte nicht wieder
Wenn der RX7 gestartet wird, wird auch die Karte richtig angezeigt. Wenn später wieder auf die Karte gesehen wird, lädt die App unendlich ohne die Karte anzuzeigen.
Air con timer still not fixed in app
The app works well enough, but one of the key functions is the timer, and trying to access this via the app results in dozens of live crabs, squid and octopi pouring through the air con vent and flapping around onto the carpet. This is highly distressing to my family as you can imagine. Instead of an AI-generated response, it would be better to explain why it’s not been possible to fix and provide some actual timelines by which it will be addressed. It’s especially lazy given this feature was working perfectly before.

Working nicely with Comfort 6000
Version 4.25 seems to have fixed the reliability issues. Now working well again, except for the long standing issue of the timer function not being available in the app.

wie schafft es die App nur, sich dauernd mit falschen Meldungen auf den Sperrbildschirm zu schieben? Auch, wenn man ihr alle Rechte entzieht? Wenn Du alle 20 min ein „Pling“ brauchst - hier bist Du richtig. Meider wird die App über die letzten zwei auch nicht besser. Der Entwickler hat Dir hier eine Leine mit Halsband gestrickt - aber rat‘ mal, an welchem Ende er Dich sieht…
App OK but key features missing or buggy
The timer feature for my a/c unit has been getting worked on for a year now. With still no sign of getting fixed. The unit does not respond to fan speed changes etc through the app. Temp setting and switching off on works but that’s about it.

Why so haaaaaaard?
How about just putting a delay start button on the tumble dryer instead of faffing about with an app? This is evening #4 spent trying to get the tumble dryer and WiFi to talk to each other, then programme a load of wet clothes to run overnight when the electricity is cheaper. I got there in the end through trial and error. I have to stand in front of the tumble dryer to load damp clothes into it - just put a “delay start” button on the front of the machine and give us all peace. Worst app ever in the history of the internet. Pointless, not intuitive, erratic. Zero benefit to the customer. Could not be worse. You are all fools for thinking customers want this complicated finicky app as opposed to a button.

Update: funktioniert wieder super und ist brauchbar, einbinden in Alexa oder Smart Home ist leider noch nicht ohne Absturz möglich, sonst übersichtlich.
Air Conditioner Timer Disappeared!
App works ok except occasional disconnects require complete reinstall which is a pain in the proverbial. Most frustrating is that the timer option for my A/C unit just disappeared altogether. It’s really handy to set it to the. For an hour a turn off. Very frustrating Update 23/06/26 Latest update wiped out connection to my A/C unit and now reconnected App is even worse than before. App does not sync setting with A/C unit and keeps resetting mode to Auto. Timer also not work through App and target temp resets to “null”. Please fix because it’s almost useless.
App works okay overall but reconnecting and timer are unreliable
The app actually works okay most of the time when you're in, and the initial setup at the very beginning wasn't a problem at all. The real headache happens when the app randomly starts showing an error later on, forcing you to troubleshoot and go through the setup process all over again. Right now my router shows the AC is fully connected to the Wi-Fi and internet just fine, but the app keeps failing at that final step with a generic error screen during the reconnection attempt. It's so annoying because the display on the actual machine only shows the target temperature, so this temporary glitch leaves me completely blind to the actual room temperature. The biggest ongoing issue though is the timed switch-off feature which is completely unreliable and just ignores the schedules to turn the unit off automatically overnight. I was told this would be fixed last summer but a year later it still doesn't work. It's a shame because the actual cooling hardware is excellent quality and runs great, but the software bugs and reconnection issues are really holding it back. Please focus on fixing the connection loop and the scheduling tools.

Beste, Sinds een tijdje lukt het niet meer om het aantal ml in autodose aan te passen. Update: ondertussen probleem opgelost.

Absolutely fine until the update, then suddenly broken— please fix it or at least regressed to the previous piece of software that actually worked.

Ein Fehler ist aufgetreten
Die App hat bislang super funktioniert. Nur erhalte ich seit kurzem häufig die Fehlermeldung „Ein Fehler ist aufgetreten. Aktualisieren Sie und versuchen Sie es erneut.“ Zwischendurch funktioniert es dann manchmal wieder und dann wieder nicht. Echt schade.

Werkt goed, maar het kan nog net iets beter
De app doet alles wat hij zou moeten doen (in mijn geval wasmachine en droger). Je hebt ruime keuze uit verschillende wasprogramma’s passend bij jouw was. Na de was communiceert de wasmachine met de droger welke drooginstellingen nodig zijn. De widget geeft aan hoelang de was/droger nog nodig heeft. Super handig!! Enig minpuntje vind ik de app layout. De informatie is weergegeven in onnodig grote blokken/knoppen, waardoor niet alle instellingen tegelijk op het scherm passen en je dus moet scrollen. Hierdoor voelt de app niet overzichtelijk. Gelukkig zouden ze dit bij AEG gemakkelijk op kunnen lossen! 😉 dan krijgen jullie de laatste ster erbij. Ook is het een gemis dat je een fysieke knop op de machine moet aanklikken om hem via de app te starten (ik begreep dat dit uit veiligheidsoverwegingen was, dus vooruit, die zie ik door de vingers)
Timer doesn’t work for AC
Recently bought an AC unit and haven’t been able to use the timer function via the app as I get an error message saying “experiencing issues with this feature. Our engineers are working to fix it as soon as possible.” After reading below reviews, it looks like this has been the case since summer 2025. Why hasn’t it been fixed yet?
Update broke it - not easy to fix
I use this app all the time to let me know when my washing machine cycle has finished. Then an update stopped that from working - the app no longer connected to it. I deleted it and in order to re-add it, I had to change the settings in the appliance wifi to Use Low Data Mode, then it finally managed to connect to it. A lot of time wasted trying to get it to work as per the instructions.

Timer no longer working
After nearly a year the timer was finally fixed, only for the fix to be short lived. Whilst it appears the timer has been set, a few minutes later it changes to none, thereby cancelling any timer that was set. I presume it will take a further year for AEG to fix it again.

Ik heb drie AEG luchtreinigers in huis en de waarden die getoond worden in de app zijn relatief ok behalve de RV waarde (luchtvochtigheid). Gelieve deze in de volgende versie correct weer te geven. Bedankt!
Privacy Nightmare
AEG Aircon supplied without a remote “because there is an app”. AEG app starts with mandatory acceptance of AEG’s data policy. Aircon unit has bluetooth, but still insists on requiring you to provide email, precise location data, wifi settings. There is no opportunity to opt for bluetooth only and keep your data private. A terrible example of unnecessary data mining. AEG - work on providing a Bluetooth interface to control local appliances and enable an opt out of forced collection of personal data. Meanwhile, I hope your data protection policies are robust. Update - having worked initially, the ‘set timer’ app function has been broken for over a year and a number of updates have not fixed the issue. If only there was a physical remote . . .
Make delayed start really start time please!
I would like to set the delayed START time for my dryer / washmachine per exact minute! End time I really could not care less. Since the last update I see a change in minutes (is now fixed variable currentTiime.mm. Please make it selectable again to put in a dryers.startTime on exact hh:mm please)

Overall this is a really good app in my experience seriously let down by only being able to link to one phone only which is a real nuisance. Either i have it on my phone which is a pain for my wife or the other way around which is bad for me, as we both work in retail but different days and hours. Thank heavens you have the option of manual control too.
Good for A/C control but timer not working
A/C Comfort 6000 - app worked fine when new but last year (2025) the timer function stopped working with a message saying there is an issue and engineers are working to fix it. I used the timer frequently When will it be fixed?
