Hallo, Inzwischen deutlich besser als die alte multimatic App, aber: Ich vermisse immer noch sehr schmerzhaft meine für Frühjahr, Sommer, Winter optimierten Zeitfensterprofile!!!! Bitte diese Möglichkeit wieder hinzufügen! Zudem scheinen seit kurzem die Ambisense Module an den Heizkörpern auch im Sommerbetrieb bei der Nachtkühlung den eigentlich eingestellten Modus „Nur Warmwasser“ zu überschreiben und die Heizung geht an. Es hilft nur, die Module auf „AUS“ zu stellen Ich hoffe hier weiterhin auf Verbesserung.

Klimaanlage
Vergeblich habe ich bisher die Einbindung der Vaillant Klimageräte gesucht. Was ist damit? Die App Ewpe ist eine Cloudlösung mit merkwürdiger Registrierung.

Been using the app as a heating and hot water controller very successfully for quite a while now. When it’s working, it’s very good. Have just, however, had a fairly catastrophic issue in the shape of a new broadband provider and router. Resetting the system and reconnecting, I have just been advised by Vaillant tech support, is (with my set up) an engineer call out. OUCH!!!

A most esoteric app
As a novice user of a new ASHP, this app seems to purposely make it difficult to find out anything useful. I’m used to the, kind of, ok Hive app with my old gas boiler but this new app gives me no useful information without me reading a manual. Okay, so I can check my system pressure, but I can’t check historical temperature values. I’m not even sure that I can tell if the heat pump is actually running, when it started running and what a forecast of energy consumption might be. The ambiguous glowing display might mean that it’s running; who knows? Needs a big UI upgrade and simplification. A bit of text might help. I’m likely being over critical, but having to consider integrating it into home assistant just to find out how it’s working seems a bit much.
Alexa Einbindung nicht verfügbar
Die einrichten der App und anschließen des Gateways war selbst für mich als nicht heizungsfachmann simpel und straight forward. Wenn man nicht ganz fachfremd ist, sich traut die Heizung zu öffnen und die paar Kabel selbst zu ziehen geht das innerhalb von 20min. Dafür gibts eine klare Empfehlung. Negativ ist aber, dass es den Alexa Skill (stand heute) nicht gibt, obwohl es überall so vermarktet wird. Nachdem ich mein ganzes Haus mittels Alexa Smart gestaltet hatte war die Heizungssteuerung das letzte was fehlte. Vielleicht kann ja jemand vom vaillant Support hier Hilfestellung leisten?!

I absolutely would recommend having one. It takes a few weeks to get use to, but so worth it. My bills are low now. Great with solar panels even cheaper, which is a massive bonus.
No support for Google Home?
Very disappointed that there is no support for integration with Google Home
Easy to use
Great app for controlling HeatPump at home or importantly when away. Would like to see some sub pages with more data and trends like system pressure, freezing protection active etc for those of us geeks 😉
Backwards moves
I see despite the company “investigating” the below - nothing has been done to bring this option back. I am wasting money and energy because a really useful feature was ripped out of the app for no reason whatsoever! —- Overall - excellent app and controls BUT removing the option to set the heating for a set period of time under manual settings in the app is really silly (timer function) It means I end up using more gas - wasting money and energy! What a ridiculous thing to do. Bring that option back!
Macht keine Freude
Vor Monaten habe ich darauf hingewiesen dass die Außentemperaturen mindestens in der Wochendarstellung nicht korrekt sind. Es sieht so aus als seien die immer um einen Tag versetzt. Ist super wenn die WP bei 23Grad Außentemperatur kühlen sollte, es aber nicht tut weil es gestern frischeres Wetter war. Warum wird für einen vergangenen Tag in der Wochen-Darstellung eine andere Durchschnittstemperatur angezeigt als in der Tagesdarstellung des selben Tages? Außerdem nervt es total dass sich die App keine Filtereinstellungen merkt. Warmwasser? Hydraulikstation? Würde ich gern dauerhaft in der Darstellung deaktivieren. Und was bitte fange ich mit der Umweltertrag an. Ich habe das Gefühl hier war das Ziel möglichst ganz viel darzustellen ohne den Anspruch auf Sinnhaftigkeit. Bitte macht das besser. Diese Anlagen kosten so viel Geld …

Constant network error
Never seems to connect always saying network error on WiFi and mobile data
So far so good
We have had shop, solar and batteries for 9 months. The house is just as comfortable as it was with oil heating. So far apart from 3 months over winter we break even or are in credit. After 12 months we will have a much better idea of costs.
The whole Vaillant system down
The app uses the MyVaillant part of the website to enable login. Both down this morning. 504 Timeout on the web, consequently the app can’t log in. No control over my local heating system without the app. Where’s the backup? This is not good.

Ability to save Weekly Planner
Fabulous app, and whole system. To make it even better I would like to be able to save my Weekly Planner settings (preferably multiple versions) so that I can seamlessly switch between profiles I create.
No innovation for gas boiler control
App has stagnated for gas boiler users. Too much focus on its integration for heat pump users. A disappointed gas boiler user.
Poor service
My app does not give me the warning hot water legionella message. I reported this issue at the beginning of January this year. Despite reporting the issue more than once via the app nothing appears to be happening! I have via the app enquired several times as to how this issue is progressing only to be told it’s been escalated to the next level.
Hilfe! App Funk nicht mehr!
Seit heute Morgen funktioniert die App nicht mehr. Ich kann meine Heizung somit nicht mehr bedienen!!!! Nach dem Start der App erscheint die Anmeldemaske, so als hätte man die App neu installiert. Beim antippen von „Anmelden“ wird man über einen Link auf die Vaillant-Webseite weitergeleitet. Die Seite bleibt weiß und man kann sich nicht anmelden. Bitte um schnelle Hilfe, weil draußen nicht richtig warm ist und ich die Heizung starten muss. DANKE!!!!
Legionellenschutz wird nicht angezeigt
Seit ca 3 Monaten wird bei laufendem Legionellenschutz die mögliche Verbrühungsgefahr nicht mehr angezeigt Bug oder gewollt?

Just had Heat Pump fitted find the data provided by this app is very comprehensive and shows real time power consumption and output levels very impressed so far
Will not connect
I’ve been trying for over an hour and the app will not connect to the device. Its blue light is flashing.
Very convenient
Great to control heating remotely. Very occasional glitches where it switches the heating on of its own accord. Overall I think our bills are lower using the app.
Bug in the Absence mode screen and other problems
When setting a date using the scrolling day and month wheels it appears the wrong way round in the confirmation screen. Also, Room Temperature Mod is not available in the app. It was this that caused our heat pump system to keep heating our house when not needed, which took months to diagnose and nearly doubled our energy usage over the winter months. Come on Vaillant, you can do better than this. If these are fixed, it would be an excellent app.
Heating curve setting changes randomly
The steepness of curve does not remain at the figure set. I apply and save the recommended setting but within a couple of days, or sometimes immediately, the figure drops lower. Repeat. Assistance from developers would be much appreciated. Thank you.
Good app but where is boost now?
It’s a very good app, and good to get the data out of it too so I can see trends, but why has the hot water boost function disappeared? I hope it’s due back in a new app version
Not on iPad
The App Store info states that this app “works on this iPad”. Well no it does not. Although it does download and open, it doesn’t load a keyboard so you can’t create or log in to an account. It’s unforgivable in this day and age for an app not to be iPad compatible. It’s a great app on the phone. I wanted to repurpose an older iPad as a home control centre. My solarEdge app and Eddi diverter app all work on iPad but without the ability to monitor and set the heating, it’s an incomplete experience. Disappointed with Vaillant for this.

Schickes Design - der Rest fehlt
Positiv: ⭐️Das Design ist Geschmacksache, aber ich finde es schön gemacht. ⭐️Die Fernsteuerung der Heizungsthermostate funktioniert. Negativ: 🛑Keine Vorlagen für verönderte Tage (Urlaub/Arbeitstage usw.). Das gab es in den Vorgänger Apps. 🛑Statistik hat abgebaut - kein Vergleich mit den Vorperioden möglich. 🛑Die statistischen Daten können mal geladen werden mal nicht… 🛑ständig wechselnder Funktionsumfang - mal kann die App mehr, mal weniger. Ich habe gerade festgestellt, dass ich die Heizkurve nicht mehr in der App ändern kann. Warum werden immer wieder Einstellmöglichkeiten genommen? Die App wird von Update zu Update schlechter… 🛑 🛑 Ganz schlechter Kundensupport. Ich hatte schon häufiger Kontakt oder versucht den Kontakt aufzubauen, aber meistens erhält man die Antwort: „man sei nicht zuständig“. Auf den verwiesene Support sagt widerum da gleiche und verweist auf den anderen…
App works, basic functions
App v3 much cleaner. Would be nice to see boiler status codes and operation mode (operation mode shows but is truncated). Would be great if it emulated a smart meter by allowing my to input my energy provider kWh and standing charge costs, so I can accurately forecast my bill based on current and projected use, without going to utility company app.
Great App but….
So far app seems to work great. But would it be possible to add a section where we can insert what we pay per kWh for our electricity and hence show what it is costing per day/week/month/lifetime
Unable to get app to pair with thermostat
Had the smart system (thermostat , controller and app) installed yesterday onto our Caillant boiler. The gateway is connected to the internet, the app is connected to the internet, the thermostat is connected to the gateway but they won’t talk to each other. So effectively, the only thing the app can do is switch the boiler on and off. We can’t see the room temperature on the app. My husband has spent HOURS today trying different things and with the Vaillant customer service guy (who wasn’t able to help after over an hour trying to do different things). The thermostat is just not talking to the app. He has tried contacting the app department but to no avail. The email response just repeated what he had already tried (in fact less) than he had already tried with the customer service agent. We now have less functionality than we had with our old Honeywell system. Not very happy as it is not a cheap system.
Missing obvious features
Update - developers seem to have taken onboard my request for the DHW cylinder temperature reading. Fantastic! Can now pretty much dispense with the clunky thermostat/controller day-to-day. Would still benefit from a DHW Advance button for the Time-Control operation to nudge it to the next time period’s setting without changing the Operation mode. Appreciate there’s a Boost feature, but an Advance would allow me to turn the water off (eg after all the family has showered) so it doesn’t recharge till the cheaper rate, as set in the Time-Control. At the moment I have to turn it off manually, then set an alarm to remind me to turn it back on once the hot water timer period has ended, in preparation for it recharging later at the cheaper rate. Delighted you’ve responded to my previous request, so thought I’d try my luck with another! (And here’s another suggestion, tho I appreciate this would need more than a software update: how about (once wired appropriately) the ability to remotely turn on the immersion (similar in function to eg myenergi’s eddi)? I recognise that might seem contrary to the benefits of a heat pump, but when I’ve excess solar it would be great to push a few kWs into my DHW cylinder to keep it topped up without having to run the compressor each and every time.)

Leider sehe ich keine Verbrauchsdaten. Weder das noch meinen Solarertrag. Das was ich heute kann, konnte auch bereits in der MultiMatic App. Das was lobenswert ist, ist die inzwischen bessere Geschwindigkeit.
App compatibility with some Thermostat/Controllers
Is this app actually compatible with the sensocomfort thermostat? If so, can someone at Vaillant explain why when trying to add a Sensocomfort Thermostat to the app, the app shows me a photo of a sensoroom thermostat and tells me to press the button on Gateway, but the display on the SensoComfort tells me to press the button on the Radio Receiver.? Sadly can’t give a zero star rating but I would.
App over portable device
The portable dedicated controller user interface is quite weak because of the low resolution of the type of the display, structure of feature options and the option scroller. The mobile application is very easy to use and attractively designed. The dedicated controller is best left alone in a place where it can best capture and relay indoor temp to the system, if it is the only indoor temp sensing device.

The app, quite unhelpfully, just asks you to scan your gateway QR code to connect. With no guidance on what they’ve decided a “Gateway” is. I have boxes with items in called “Hub”, “Receiver” and “Thermostat” not to mention the variety of QR codes across these items, on the boiler itself and the instruction manuals. When asked for help on locating the QR code, the app recommends looking on the back of said “Gateway”. It then recommends putting in the serial number, the location of which I’m told is handily on this yet to be identified Gateway. After trying a few of the various codes from various items, I googled the structure of the code and eventually found it under the Boiler. Finally satisfied I may have come to the end of this debacle, I typed in this 24 digit code only to have the app tell me there is a network error and to try again later.
Improving all the time
Have been using the app for nearly a year with heat pump, and the additional functionality added has been a real bonus. Being able to dial things in as a homeowner has been really useful, without going to the thermostat units. Definitely better than Nest. There are still some glitches with pulling data and the occasional UI or connection bug, but I can tell that the team behind this are turning things around nicely.

Teething problems, but does the job
Missing some of previous models useful functions, but developers responded quickly to feedback and have plans to re-introduce these. Would perhaps have been useful to flag that this is a work in progress… Vaillant overall responsive to issues and a good company to deal with.

Can’t register or log in
Downloaded this to help with using a valiant controller at a new house. Created an account and password but it will not let me log in It just says invalid username or password over and over again despite several resets of passwords. Very p***ed off at the moment

Like the new homepage with easier access to overall status.
Not as good as the old vSmart app
The old app let you save multiple heating and hot water profiles, making it easy to swap them in during cold weather etc, or when working from home. The new app doesn’t have this option, nor is it possible to do timed boosts of the central heating. vSmart allowed you to quickly set up say a two hour heating boost to 21 degrees and forget about it, with the new app, you have to turn it down manually. It isn’t often new software does less than the app it replaces but Vaillant have managed it.
Adding functionality
It’s a shame that you can’t switch on/off noise reduction mode and set Eco, Normal and balanced within the app
