Probably my favorite app on my phone
I’ve had the annual subscription for this recipe app for 2 years now and it’s the only one I don’t look at and ask if I really need to pay it. I love how I can just import recipes from instagram and write up family recipes without much effort. I love how I can SCALE these recipes too (I thought that was only a recipe website thing) to make it easier on me when making bigger batches of something. The meal planning and grocery list features are also phenomenal and so easy to use. This is genuinely such an amazing (and aesthetically pleasing/nice and simple looking) app that I don’t think I’d be able to live without. To the creator of this app: I love you.
Family Sharing Requires Multiple Subscriptions
Can’t share meal planning or grocery lists with spouse without a second paid subscription.
Almost perfect
Love it.. but It needs a pantry list for stuff we already have at home and some ui tweaks and then it will be perfect!
Import didn’t add details
The first recipe I imported was from instagram. It didn’t have the ingredients or directions in the caption and so it showed up blank in the Umami app. When I imported the same recipe into Recime app, it took the ingredients and instructions from the audio of the video and added the text automatically. Needless to say I’ve decided to go with Recime instead, even if it’s a bit more expensive because it just has better features that actually do what I need it to do.
Sharing
I love the sharing aspect with my family and the ease of recipe access.
Disappointing
Only works about 1/3 of the time. I usually get an error message. Switched to another recipe organizer and haven't run into any issues with that one.
Klasse Rezeptmanager
User friendly
I love this app. So easy to use. I can add note to the recipe to remind me of something I want to try next time. I like that I can make my own folders to file my recipes which fits my thought process & not a cookie cutter mold. Also had great tech support when I thought I’d lost all of my recipes! Love it!
You need a subscription to put more than 5 recipes in
I can’t believe I have to pay a monthly subscription for having the honour of saving more than 5 recipes. I write these in myself and you want my money. TERRIBLE
Everything but the pantry
I do like this app a lot but I just wish there was a pantry option. Almost ready to move on from Paprika but not quite yet
Delicious Magazine
Great app but I’m getting errors when trying to import from delicious magazine.
Get this app!
This app is wonderful. It does exactly what you want it to do. I did the lifetime membership for $20 and I have built up a full library of recipes that me and family love. You won’t regret this app.
Email issue
I tried the app and would like to provide some feedback, so I selected 'Email developer'. However this tries to open the Apple Mail app which I am not using. As the developer's email address is not shown, I have no means of getting in contact.
Awesome app!
I love this app so much! It has revolutionized the way I grocery shop and cook. It has made it so much easier to make up my list and my grocery visits are more efficient. One thing I wish I had was the ability to use it on my Amazon Echo, as the screen is much bigger than trying to read from my phone while I am prepping & cooking. Good job on the app!
Great recipe app
However, it’s very expensive in comparison to the competitors. Unfortunately, I have purchased “lifetime” licenses before and it always end up the same - the developer either abandons the app or forces existing lifetime users to get subscription to get access to the latest features. It’s just impossible to justify the £19.99 price tag.
Excellent recipe app
Really useful recipe app, along with being free and having no ads
ABSOLUTELY LOVE
This app is a godsend. I have so many recipes I’ve never used saved on Instagram one because it’s annoying to watch the video, too annoying to go to their link, three screenshot the recipe and never return. This app makes all of that seamless, in fact it’s so easy even my 76-year-old mom can use it and I think uses it even more than I do. I purchased the Lifetime subscription and love that you can share with a few friends and family. And customer support is excellent if you lock yourself out of your account. Thank you so much Jeff for creating such an awesome app.
Favorite cooking app
Does everything I want
Such a great app!
We have been using this app as a family for a year or so now, and we just love it. Easily search for recipes you’ve saved when you have certain ingredients to use. It’s awesome.
This is awesome
Works so well!
