So much fun
Love this game, plays like the board game the expansions are worth the price for loads of content, hope it continues to receive expansions including the smaller expansion packs from the main game.
Languages pack need
Please add language packs for Ukraine, Belarus, and Kazakhstan. There are a lot of fans there.
Good game
Great way to play this game since the rules are pretty complicated. AI should be updated, it doesn’t make the smartest decisions even on hardest difficulty.
Great game poorly designed
I love this car game, but this is a poorly designed digital version with clicky controls or UI layout, and desperately in need of tutorials on the game mechanics themselves

Cards
Wish it was easier to read the cards when playing on phone. The bad stuff for monsters also doesn’t show up. Other than that it’s awesome!
Terrible implementation of the game
I love the Munchkin card games and have played them for decades. I was very excited when I bought Munchkin Digital but was extremely disappointed with it. The game doesn’t follow its own rules, there are tons of bugs and the support group asks for more info even when you send the logs.the programmers have really disrespected the great art of Munchkin Digital. It’s a terrible shame. Dire Wolf is working on another digital version of a board game I really enjoy and I am confident it will be plagued by the same game breaking problems.
Fraud
Nothing wrong with there game but Never in my life has my bank account been victim of fraud. The only thing I did in the last 24 hours was buy this game then I woke up to three fraud transactions with the highest being $600. Someone is stealing your companies data or you guys are selling it…
Fun for when you can’t find a group up to play with.
I love Munchkin and want to play more than I have people to play with. Having the ap satisfies any desire to backstab friends and destroy monsters!

Loving this game but since the last update resurrection doesn’t work as a cleric. The “double trouble” challenge is not producing a second monster.

Buggy
Want to like it because it’s a convenient way to play Munchkin but it’s just so buggy. The magnificent hat isn’t working at all and as other people have noted there are a lot of other bugs too. Really disappointing.
Amazing but not perfect yet
TLDR: Thanks for making Munchkin Digital! Sure it ‘aint perfect, but y’all actively improving it — that speaks loudly. Continued support directly helps the developers to improve it, which they appear to be doing. Bugs/Updates: It’d be great if you can see the other players gear. Also please look into “go up a level cards, specifically 1000 GP - didn’t seem to allow me to use it on myself in tutorial, hopefully not the case in normal gameplay. 5 Stars! ———————————- The Longer Version: I give it 5 stars so far, because it’s a game many of us have been hoping for digitally and you guys made it happen. Sure it’s not perfect, but y’all are actively fixing bugs. Looks like it was released like 2 years ago or more and there have been tons of updates, even just a week ago, this shows me you’re truly invested in the player/customer experience, not a quick money grab, that’s respectable. I read some aren’t satisfied with what they paid for but investing time into improving the game cost time and/or money and these small purchases make a huge difference to the developer(s). I believe this is amazing for what it is, and with continued support and feedback, it may even eventually become the preferred way of playing for many people. Good job team! Pertaining to bugs/updates, I noticed the AI’s using one-shot level-up cards on themselves, my 1000 Gold Pieces one-shot level up did not allow me to select me as a target but this was also in the tutorial so maybe that’s why.. I’m not sure.
Buyers Remorse
I absolutely love munchkins. I was ecstatic to find there was a digital game. Well the excitement quickly wore off after finding out that solo play means the AI wins every time. It doesn’t matter how far ahead you are off the computer they will win. My best game I was at level 9 when they hit level 4. Somehow they always have cards to block your level. I have tried many different play styles but it doesn’t seem to matter. I know the developer claims it’s not rigged or the ai doesn’t cheat but come on now. Maybe I have absolutely horrible skills at this game but after playing a few weeks I feel the worst player should be able to get a win when trying.
Great but glitchy sometimes
Love Munchkin. Noticed a few glitches with some cards, however. Had the game glitch multiple times while using Casting Couch, and sometimes when combat features multiple monsters and cards start removing or changing them, such as Dead. Once some of these glitches are ironed out, things will be great again! I believe most of these are with the most recent expansion added to the game. Cheers!
Needs Help
Look, I love this game, and getting to play it digital is a dream come true. But you have GOT TO FIX the card randomizing. I’ve spent the majority of every game with no gear, no treasures, and losing before I even get to level 5. I just sit there with hands full of monsters, classes, and the same three spell cards over and over again.
Glitches
In playing local against two AI players, there’s a glitch where as playing a level eight orc I can easily win the game when the other players don’t take action against the winning of two levels for beating a monster by ten or more points. Also the dice rolls display numbers than what’s actually rolled. Also in the latest update, the Magnificent Hat fails to protect you from opponent’s curses.
Great game
This game has been amazing, but the last updates have really created some glitches. I could get past them because the games are great but great they fix the glitches.
Not the card game
I had high hopes for this, being a long-time Munchkin player, but this isn’t a reproduction of the card game. Between bugs in the system where the instructions on the cards aren’t followed (especially curses) to underlying programming doing this differently from the card game (drawing a unique card three times in a row like Hoard should be impossible since there should be a discard deck that remains static until the dealing deck is completely finished), this plays as a card game with rules other than what is displayed by either the cards or the actual rules. From a GUI perspective, it is very difficult to see what cards you have in play and the numbers listed for cpu players attack strength are often wrong when a combat begins.
Great Game….but freezes middle of game play
When playing online, the game might freeze up as well as some cards will remain in hand after playing. This issue only recently started happening. Before hand, every thing worked great.
Que de bugs !
Environ 3 parties sur 4 bugs donc quasi injouable… très frustrant quand ça arrive alors qu’on allait gagner… Le jeu part trop souvent dans des boucles sans fin de codes, alors on sauvegarde, on sort, on ré-rentre dans la partie et des fois c’est bon, mais souvent ça a bugué sur les cartes ou les niveaux ou le bug persiste. Un GROS problème de codage et une optimisation catastrophique quand on voit que le jeu fait baisser la batterie a vitesse trop rapide (davinci resolve me fait moins baisser la batterie c’est pour dire). iPad Pro M2 donc pas ancien en plus. Bref pour un jeu a 10 euros je trouve ça incroyable qu’il ne soit pas fini ! Je mets une étoile de plus malgré tout car c’est rigolo, l’IA est combattive sans trop oppresser, bien travaillée, les design et le son très bien même si on se perds un peu sur les cartes et quand une carte ne fonctionne pas on sait jamais si c’est le jeu qui bugue ou si on a juste mal compris la carte. On aurait aussi aimé un bouton pause mais bon c’est du détails. Je suis prêt à revoir mon commentaire si plus aucun bug, j’ai jamais vu ça sur une appli iPad.
Somewhat buggy
Great game. I’m a big fan of Munchkin. But this latest version seems a little buggy. For example, pressing the buttons that appear at the bottom of popup windows (like for example the backpack) often require several presses before the button takes action. Also, I’ve gotten stuck in combat where other (AI) players may be deciding actions, only to sit for several minutes with nothing happening and having to quit/restart the game. Sometime restarting works and the game continues, but other times the game just gets stuck in the same spot again. Hope a fix comes soon!
Perfect as far as I can tell.
This is a perfect digital version of munchkin, with the ability to play online or on your own against computers as well. I hope they add more expansions!!
Cheating algorithm
I have reached level 9 way before others, and AI player after me drew “Out to Lunch” card 4 times in a row specifically to use it on me, preventing me from winning early. Apparently if you are progressing too quickly, the game makes it “hard” for you simply by cheating in the most unimaginative way. Major disappoint.
Great Game with some crashing issues.
Excellent transition from table top card game to cell phone game. Only two problems. I feel like the NPC’s can go be human half breeds but I can’t. I notice the human icon just sitting next to the other race icon for the NPC’s. And they’ll still be able to use human weapons. I feel like I human’s shouldn’t be excluded from the half breed dynamic. And should be allowed to be all human no drawbacks or half human half other race (plus weaknesses of both). The other NPC’s seem like they can. I’ve also noticed some slowdown and crashing problems. I’ve also noticed certain text boxes getting stuck and being unmovable. Need to be fixed. Great game otherwise.
Wrong inform about languages
Italian is not available even if it is listed. I would suggest to implement this language.
Harder than the board game
I love munchkin and so do all my friends, the ai either has incredible luck or gets a better chance of cards I haven’t won a single game even when I’m way ahead. Still love it though but somethings funky with the ai
Amazing
We own basically every version of munchkin made… and I love this digital version. It’s great to play with our kid who is at college, or when we just can’t get together in the same space for a true game night. Is it the same? No… but it’s dang close. My only complaint is the lack of expansions. I need more! ;)
Bard class bugged
I bough the 3rd expansion which came with Bard and when ever I use enthrall it never works. It says I roll high than them but they don’t join me in battle, then I look over to the script and it says they rolled higher than me. I’ve never enthrall anyone, because even when it say they roll low they always roll a 6
More expansions please. Steeds and such
Love this game but this online version is missing some of the best expansions.
Button layout
Put the run away button somewhere else, i tried to play important cards and it auto selected me to run away, completely turned me off the game
Buggy battles
This is a very fun game that brings back a lot of memories. Great job team! I have ran into numerous situations where the game bugs out and I cannot progress. For example, I recently played a game where I traded with a local player, then “kick the door” popped up, even though my turn was over. The option did nothing and immediately after, “loot the room” popped up. I clicked it and it then proceeded to show all the clickable options one by one after each click. Looks like something kicks off an infinite menu loop. Another minor bug, I could not equip multiple big items as a dwarf :)
Perfect
The only house rule I wish this digital game had, is that when bad stuff happens and you die it’s for the rest of the game. Then again, I regularly play with large amounts of people (6 at minimum) on tabletop.
It’s OK
I got this assuming they would have much more access to expansions. Especially seeing that this has been out for a year. Glitches and has error issues regularly. If they start to add more expansions I’d be keen to change my review.
Love it, but for a few bugs
Love the gameplay, but keep encountering bugs in the challenge levels where one opponent’s door will simply not kick in.

Cards not always working correctly
Can be frustrating to play. Sometimes the cards don’t seem to work as described. Additionally, sometimes unable to hold down card to zoom in and read descriptions.
Such a fun game but…
Please lower the price to allow more people to get the game. Sometimes it takes so long to get into games and I think so many people would get the game if it were cheaper.
Not as fun as expected
So far it’s been a somewhat disappointing game. The graphics are what you might expect from the board game, but certain cards don’t work properly and the UI is difficult to understand. The abilities are hard to find as well.

Online is extremely poor
Online matching is super bad. The game can't match the players that are currently online, it doesn't show created games, it freezes while loading matches... terrible. Not what i expected for that price. Please, FIX MATCH MAKING!!!
Glitches in Update
Game is amazing! But since the last update, I cannot resurrect as a Cleric, couldn’t use some of my cards such as a forced roll away to another person, etc. New expansion pack is awesome and game is amazing but this current one needs updates. Glitches also happens live and causes people to force quit and rejoin, risking getting kicked out if not done quickly enough. That said, it’s SO nice to have this game to play all the time. Willing to adjust my review once glitches are fixed to a 5/5
Awesomeness
At first I was like well it’s not as good as the board game version but then I was hooked… just that I was able to go through my apps and find Munchkin was awesome to me. it’s hard enough trying to get people together to play board games anymore. I would like to see more online and more groups interested. but as far as gameplay goes and the experience so far, it is everything I expected plus definitely recommend if you’re into the board game give this a try you won’t be disappointed
So much potential, but unusable
Tap targets are so small, this is impossible to play, even on my iPad Air. I can’t even make it through the first part of the tutorial. With more room to tap, this looks like it could be a 4 star rendition of Munchkin!
Needs change of interface
Wished that they revamped the way to see and play cards as it’s impossible to read the text by using your finger to bring it up. Other than that really enjoyable game

The best thing about a card game on iPad is the ability to play on a tabletop with friends.. will this game have the ability to do offline pass-and-play? Could easily just have game announce next player turn before showing their cards.. similar to “Cat Lady” or “Roll for it” iPad games.. please add pass and play local offline multiplayer. Thanks!
