Great game
I was shown this game as a kid once and got it 12 years later. I play it a lot and showed my gf. She plays daily and is obsessed with it. So much so that I am scared haha
Stop the blatant cheating
The developers keep responding, that it is random the AI getting perfect deals and having weighted cards. But instead of saying the same thing over and over, possibly step back and maybe notice a trend of everyone saying that when playing solo, the computer seems to get ridiculously uneven deals. That isn’t a quirk or random, it’s broken programming that is pointed out over and over by many reviewers. Possibly fix this and you’ll have a 5 star game instead of saying it’s not broken! My original review-As the title says, AI is BS! You could buy 5 of the attack cards, you’ll never see them until the last cards in your deck. Guess what the AI, it gets that card the next shuffle after it buys it. Single player game is sucks because of this. Fix the AI and you’ll actually have a game. Statistics/Mathmatics major in college, started tracking the 2 starting hands and attack card purchase vs being able to use. Guess what 68% of the time the AI gets the attack card first, even if you buy it two or three hands earlier. Also the AI statically will obtain the 5-2 hands (first two hands) 71% of the time if an attack is worth 5, otherwise if the attack is worth 4, shockingly all of the sudden, you the player will get the 2-5 hand when the 5 card is useless (that’s 63%, btw). Statistically, this game is broken, the AI has loaded deck, loaded opening hands and just sucks because of it. Play real people using the actual cards, you’ll never see the amazing luck the computer gets, especially the last move that just beats you by 1 point (that’s 59% of the games btw, that you’ll lose by one with one last monster hand the AI gets to win)
Enjoying but weighted
I’m not convinced the AI version isn’t weighted for it to win. Example, we both had 1 witch each. The AI tool had the witch 6 times before mine turned up once. This isn’t possible. Same with Militia. Still enjoy playing though.
Needs bug fixing and more app testing
This app needs plenty of bug fixes and more testing because some things just do not make sense. Like the plain switch-offs—you know, when you are playing with your friends, like your first and your other friend, and then your friend, I mean next. The switch-off of the players, I guess, like the title—I do not know—there is something somewhere in there that is wrong because we get confused when it says. I wanted it to say my turn versus the other predator's turn, and then, when the turn is over, you knew that you were right, so you get confused like, why do I go again, or why do they go again? It just does not make sense, so please fix that. It needs to be fixed.

Best game!!! Maybe found 2 bugs
Love this game! I bought all the expansions because I can keep them and play with others. 2 issues I’m noticing. When revealing a treasure with Ironmonger I’m not getting +1. Also when buying a curse, curses that were exiled didn’t give me the option to discard.
App Quits
My app keeps quitting on the daily game. My iOS is up to date and so is my app. Please fix as the only reason I have this is the Daily game. With the daily game functioning, this is a 4 star app.
Stop the forfeiting!
Love the game itself - very easy to use and smooth play. However, it’s so annoying that so many people forfeit when you’re close to winning. I’m happy to watch others’ victories. I love getting a quick-no-fuss deck so there’s no excuse to forfeit when I’m on the winning turn. Can consequences be added to stop people forfeiting?
AI bot consistently cheats
This game would be so much better if it were fair. The bot cheats constantly. It uses multiple buys in games where NO cards have +Buys. It also somehow managed to play 7 Black Cats from a hand that should only have 5 cards. Every game is unfairly weighted and it’s super frustrating
One big flaw
While the gameplay is great and seamless, the game is full of players who abandon games, however the clock timer makes you wait as long as 5 minutes before considering the game abandoned. Often players will slow play and deliberately wait 4 minutes before playing just to get under your skin. Idle times should he significantly reduced. Also, unlike the browser version of this game, you are unable to continue a game with bots if your opponent resigns mid game. This is a simple feature that should definitely be added.
One of the best board games
I bought this one on steam years ago and didn’t know there was an app on iOS. So happy I once checked. Kinda expensive, but knowing you purchase it for life saves a tear ❤️

Great deck builder on the go
I think it’s great if you’re a fan of the base game so if you want to explore new expansions, it used to be that you could play against random players and you could use decks that you didn’t own and explore their sets but this is no longer the case
Shuffling can annoyingly glitch
Fund game. Love it. Wish there was a sci-fi version. But the most annoying thing is a lot of the time the deck doesn’t shuffle and just kills a round
Great game, awful user interface
I love Dominion, but this implementation is seriously flawed. Amy app that requires dragging things up from the bottom of the screen is badly written. Too often I wind up switching apps by trying to select cards from my hand. Can’t you just let me rap them and then give me a button that plays them? Also, why make me explicitly play my money cards? They should automatically be in play when I run out of actions. And more than once, because the two buttons are so close together, I have accidentally pressed both buttons”play treasures” and “end buys” at the same time, effectively forfeiting the buy phase of my turn. In short, the game is great, the AI is a tough opponent, it game play is terribly frustrating. Clean up the interface issues and I’ll give it 5 stars. As it is, three stars is generous.

So unbalanced it’s nonsensical
The game plays smoothly. No bugs. But the Easy AI is way too easy. I usually beat it by 75 points or more (not exaggerating). I even once beat the Easy AI by over 200 points. And sometimes the Easy AI won’t buy any victory point cards at all for the entire game! That’s no challenge, and no fun. But I lose to the next AI level, Medium, 8 or 9 games out of 10. The Medium AI gets just the right cards at just the right time. Losing most of the time, that’s not fun either. It really is ridiculous. I play a careful and thoughtful game against the Medium AI. And I’m way ahead. Then boom, the Medium AI gets all the right cards, and I lose. Both the Easy and the Medium AI need to be adjusted. I shudder to think what playing against the Hard AI must be like. I haven’t tried, but it must be horrible.
Needs the full undo.
So frustrating compared to the web app. The buttons and controls are so small, way to easy to accidentally tap the wrong thing, ending your turn, then you can’t undo. No point playing. This is how most games I’ve tried end.
Favorite game ever
The app plays so smoothly and has helped me to understand the game so much better for whenever I play irl with real cards
Bad AI algorithm
The AI algorithm for this deck building game is too slanted in favor of the game when playing solo. Many times you will have a good lead going into the computers last turn only to have it pull off the best turn of its play and win by one point. This happens too many times to be coincidental. After a while you get the impression that the only time you win is when the algorithm allows it. The creators of this deck building game could learn a few things from Ascension deck building game which is much more user friendly. The only level you can win with any consistency is easy level. Maybe the online platform is better programmed than the solo AI platform. Cannot say for sure because, I do not play online.
Great game but could be better with more quality of life features
I love this game so much let’s get that out of the way. I would appreciate it if the game would keep track of your last game in case you would like to replay the set. Over and over I mean to hit replay set but I hit rematch and there’s no undoing that. The UI looks dated especially in the main menu, it needs a makeover. When playing the game the scale of some of the UI elements are awkwardly small, such as the money and buy trackers, I feel they need to be larger and make use of some of the dead space. When the expansions aren’t filling that space. The game should have a suggestion suggestions/comments/ report bugs button within it, this shows to the audience that the devs are interested in making the game as good it can be and would have been a better place for me to place this comment. The game frequently crashes especially when using some specific cards, I have found this to be common within the plunder expansion. Most of the music in the game is truly bad, the game should give you the option to disable any specific song. I would recommend hiring a better composer and revamping all of the music and adding more songs in general. As of now I just turn off the music. I love this game and I’m hoping this review will be heard by the devs. Edit: I seriously will buy every single expansion that you guys sell if you guys create achievements for all of them, please please please do this. It’s strange playing this game single player without some kind of greater objective or goal. I loved going through the achievements that you guys do have but please add achievements for all of the expansions.
Limited
The cards in the free version are too limited. Thus requiring a player to purchase more options, playing boring games or delete the game. A money maker for sure.
Need more expansions to purchase.
There are only a few expansions to purchase. Would like to see the full library available to purchase individually (Nocturnal and Adventures ex.) Otherwise, great game.

It makes me so horny! pls pls pls add 34 more expansions 😍😍😍🥰🫠😍😍 but it sucks when a game bugs out and doesn’t let you play when it’s your turn causing to run out of time and forfeit but it’s 1 red flag among the 2374 green flags I love my husband the dominion app and would never file for divorce
i would have bought upgrades, but huge bugs in accounting make free version really suck
The game is a beautifully done version of Dominion, and should be really valuable for people learning how to play, to become a customer to all the cards, and some strategy. However in both easy and medium ai gameplay, I found important bugs that give your AI opponent a huge advantage, buying cards when it should be simply discarding. also counting coins (in excess) has been off several times. it’s not so much fun when you’re “opponent “is cheating! i’m revising this review down as i keep finding huge bugs in the way it lets AI opponents double (or more) spend coins. honestly, i don’t want to play it anymore. it would be so awesome if these critical bugs get fixed though. the screen layout is pretty decent for a game of this complexity.
Computer opponent cheats but game is a wonderful representation
I love playing this game. My only gripe is that the computer opponent plays actions when they have run out of actions. I have witnessed this in the logs multiple times. A terminal action is played, followed by other action cards. I wondered why my opponent often finished with the perfect hand, then read the logs of their hand and was surprised to see how it played out. If your first action is Militia, you’re done. You don’t get more actions afterward. If your action is counsel room and it wasn’t preceded by a +2 action, that’s it. You lose nothing by losing to a cheating bot, but it’s kind of annoying. Still I’d rather than have that than have no game at all, and this one is beautiful and plays really well

Das Spiel ist sehr gelungen und ich währe daher auch durchaus bereit für die Erweiterungen zu bezahlen, aber 119€ für alle Erweiterungen ist einfach nur eine Unverschämtheit.
Playing AI
There should be something between Easy and Medium. I beat easy every time and hardly ever beat medium. Either make Easy a bit tougher or make Medium a bit easier. It’s boring always winning against Easy and always losing against Medium.

I’d like to update my review to 5 stars… as soon as…
So, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the game. I play with my family across the country, we’ll do a group call and play with the basic as well as with expansion decks for hours at a time. Recently, my account glitched out of a game mid round. When I opened the app back up, my account was gone. My ongoing games, my stats, all of it wiped. I found on Reddit that I could reconfirm my email and my account would come back. I did this multiple times, as well as checking for any other new accounts made that maybe it accidentally switched too. Not the case. My Hope with this review is that the developers of the game can get me back into my account. Thank you.
Great with minor flaws
So, I play this ALL the time but my two complaints are: 1. The jump from easy to medium is a HUGE jump. Easy is way too easy and medium is pretty hard (I’ve been playing for about 2 months and I win about 50% of the time). Not that it’s bad but I wish there was an Easy-medium setting. 2. Playing online is very slow at times. Frustrating slow even. Overall. Solid game and very fun. Easy to learn and there are 1000 ways to build decks.
Best version yet in-game but poor stats etc and crashes
I have played a few online games. I see no record of my score, no elo-style rating, which should be implemented. There seems to be a history of a few games but it’s not clear. The competition for the app in board games is the brilliant BGA website which has full game history and competitive ranking/rating. The app crashes quite often - last time for me it was just as the game ended and before the scores were revealed! It is the best version of dominion given the poor apps of the past, but still, after over ten years you’d have thought they would finally get it completely right instead of half-right.
Kind of boring for a deck builder
Too repetitive and nothing to differentiate it. Claims to have pioneered the genre and maybe that’s true, but you can’t rest on laurels. Modern deck builders are far more engaging and complex.

Great game, unfortunate error
So I tried before buying anything, spent $5 to unlock the campaign, and now the game permanently crashes on the third stage of the grand campaign.
Very much like the real game except for one glitch
I really enjoy being able to play the game without having to wait for friends to come over. However, I did notice a glitch in one pf the Campaign games where you are supposed to get an extra two actions from your card, the two extra actions are not granted if played anywhere but as the first card

Typisches Bananenprodukt. Das Tutorial ist zum Teil auf Denglish und erzählt was von einem Rechtsklick, wie mach ich den am iPad nochmal? 🤔 Aber von 100€ für inapp-Käufe träumen, genau. Wäre das Brettspiel auch so mies wäre die App nie entstanden. Ich lösche die App mal noch nicht, in dem Zustand kauf ich sicher aber auch nichts. Nur das Original das spielen wir heute Nachmittag mal wieder…🤷♂️
Good game, shuffle rules are wrong
The game and everything is great! Only thing that drives me nuts is that one of the essential rules in Dominion is that you shuffle your discard when your deck is -4 cards or less- In the app, it shuffles when you have no cards to draw. It -really- matters at the start of the game because it makes your early choices become more of a luck draw rather than strategic. On turn 3, you -should- likely draw the first card that you bought on the first turn. I’ve had games on here where the first 3 turns I buy cards, and I’ll draw the 2nd card I bought before the first card I bought (which is impossible with the correct shuffling rules) It’s tough to be the hard AI when the early rounds becomes a -whoever draws their new cards first- kind of game. Dominion can be a very momentum heavy game, so if you get lucky in the early rounds, there’s a good chance you can runaway with the game.
Just like the tabletop game
This app is a very faithful digitalization of the tabletop deck building game. Highly recommend.

Great game, but I wish purchases were cross-platform
It’s a great game and a great implementation of it, I just wish there was a way to buy the expansions across platforms. If I’m going to spend $150 bucks, I don’t want to have to spend that kind of money more than once digitally. Having bought Intrigue on sale, I’m tempted to buy that expansion physically, and would love to try out other expansions as well as the other ones I have physically.
Good with a few Quirks
It’s a pretty good app aside from a few quirky things. Like when you’re choosing a card to either trash, discard, or keep on top of your deck, you need to drag the bottom of the card to the middle of the area you’re trying to put it in or it doesn’t work
Polished to perfection
A beautiful game and the app does it justice. If you like challenge the AI is based on a neural net and will open your world to creative play.
Not fair
Please add the option for all players to always have an equal number of turns. It’s not fair for the first player to have a huge advantage by taking the last province and immediately ending the game having taken an extra turn. Please add a pool of extra scoring cards that would used during the last turn and give everyone the same number of turns and equal opportunity to win. The first player advantage is too strong right now
Needs Expansion Toggles
The only thing I wish the mobile game had was the ability to turn purchased expansions on and off. Sometimes I really just want to practice the base game, but now that I have an expansion… I can’t.
Mediocre conversion of a bad board game
I haven’t played Dominion in multiplayer, I only play single player. You can read other reviews regarding multiplayer. There is almost no content for single player - no leaderboards or challenges. I’ve played quite a few board games in their digital versions, this is one of the few that I’ve given up. Calling Dominion a board game is somewhat misleading, it’s really just a card game. The turns soon become absurd - chaining action after action. The simplistic nature of the game does make designing a reasonably capable computer AI quite feasible. An average digital conversion of well below average board game. If I were rating the board game itself I would give it one star.
