Best deck building game I’ve played
If you miss old school hearthstone. Give this a try, addicted to the game since i downloaded it. I just completed my first run and I’m so happy! Love that you can upfront buy the game and that’s it you own it. No other micro transactions is absolutely chefs kiss. Ty devs The tribe system is perfect too, would love to see more tribes with future updated or potentially a dlc biome? Shadowmancer tribe is stupidly fun. Love the build variety with it and it has such a good flow where every turn makes you feel like you have done a lot. Thank you for making this game, I was longing for old school hearthstone and this definitely fills that craving with a modern lick of paint, the visuals are gorgeous. And the mechanics system for the combat is genuinely perfection👌
Lost all save data
Lost all my save data, I tried play the game on my iPad and in doing so it override my iPhone save due to game not syncing iCloud on start up with a device on same account. Hours of progress gone and I worried this happen again. This type of bug should not be in a game like this or any :(

Love this. When I was younger, I used to pretend to be in wildfrost and run around fighting “monsters” and buying charms and meeting the characters and flying around in an airship. I had absolutely no idea that it was pay to play? Though yes, I was young and terrible at beating the levels so I never got past the big boss levels. Still am! I’m not hating. Just sort of confused. I wish you could put in a randomise button on the hero-picking bit because three options that you HAVE to choose between is too little (in my opinion) I love the art style. Also, collecting charms is sooo satisfying ☺️ I love it so much. Great game!

Decent not great
Slay the spire wanna be mixed with monster train. I prefer it to monster train but it’s pretty mid. Not enough variation or interesting elements
Brilliant sharp game
Really enjoyable game which feels sharp, snappy and challenging. Visuals are dead cute and the gameplay is engaging, no two playthroughs the same.
Tutorial needs improvement
Downloaded this to give it a look. Unfortunately the tutorial seems to be bugged. I quickly ran out of cards...it tells me to hit a bell for more but there isn't one. I hit shapes all over but no luck. Restarted game several times but same. Can't do tutorial. Uninstalled.

Im sad I have to write this review but I bought this game on my mothers account so that both of us could play the game but you seem to have purchase sharing off so that I cannot play the game myself I am quite disappointed and will change this review as soon as this is changed
Clever, engaging, novel
Adds a brilliant layer of complex timing, so fights are much more involved and interesting than the likes of slay the spire, which often feel like you’re relentlessly dragging cards out with little thought. Here you have to plan and be mindful of every card’s complex interactions. Highly recommended

1000円で完全版を購入したけど、タイトル画面から進んだ瞬間にクラッシュ。再起動して再びクラッシュ、まともに遊べません。
German Language missing
Please think about adding a German translation. Would make the game a lot easier to play.

Gorgeous game with lots of tactical depth and a perfect difficulty curve. Respects your time and has a gorgeous art style.
Crashing since update
Can’t get past the play screen since the last update. Great game when it works but may need to refund as it is completely unplayable now
I love this game!
A fantastic, innovative card battler, everything about this game I adore. It’s difficulty is punishing, its mechanics are interesting and engaging, and the animations are beautiful and fun. I have exactly one problem. …I made a mistake. I beat the game with Blunky and Nova. My Nova was strong too, loaded with charms. But now that they’ve become the boss, I fear it may be near impossible to ever clear the game again. Defeating that pair requires triggering Nova at least once (if not… seven times…), and each trigger is almost guaranteed to wipe all of my companions in one fell swoop. Please devs, hear my cry! Give players a way to fix their own busted creations, so that I can beat the game again!

Overheat
Unfortunately the game makes even the new iPad Pro run really hot, the processing required must be high, which is strange since the game doesn’t seem like it is that complex. I’d avoid unless they can fix it, just damages the battery.
Love this game!
Love this game - deck builders are normally not my thing (because I’m terrible at them) but I adore this one. Big fan of the summoner builds especially and the clunkers have grown on me! You can be really creative but it still feels challenging after a dozen runs due to the increasingly difficult boss.
Would be 5 stars
I purchased the full game as i quite enjoyed my first run. However, now as soon as i press play to start my second run, the game crashes. Might have to get a refund from apple because I can’t play it :(

iPad air2 seems not supported
I love this game. If you can play this nominally, it must be fun. But it doesn’t start on my iPad air 2. I’ve posted on discord but developers seems not to care about it.
Underrated
Super fun and addictive roguelike with satisfying strategies, great graphics, challenging boss battles. Yeah there are UI issues compared to Steam, but it makes up for it by being a complex fun game with replayability, and for such a good price - no in-app purchases too.
Love but needs work
I own this game on steam so knew I’d love the gameplay. I bought the full version immediately. Unfortunately, I have a few issues with the app itself. Elements of the UI need tweaking/reworking for mobile (selecting charms when you have a lot, picking a card to play when your hand gets full (I had a draw 1 trash 1 when hit and it made my hand so full I couldn’t distinguish cards)). Some performance issues when “clicking” (I have an iPhone 15) where the first press doesn’t seem to be registered. Additionally, cloud syncing needs lots of work. I downloaded the app on my iPad also and it erased all my unlocks on my phone which I’m very disappointed about as it represented many hours lost in game.

Battery burn
Great game, but it absolutely destroys the battery on my fairly new iPhone 15 pro. It’s also not great on the phone, the text is really tiny in some places and hard to read. Better to play on a different platform if you can.
Why is the rating at 3.9
I’ve played this game for a while on the Xbox and I’ve always had fun, there’s so many different styles, OP builds, there’s so many different ways to play. Honestly it’s worth a try if you’d like a different kind of card game. 👍

Game seems great, app unplayable
I played the trial for about an hour and loved it, but after exiting from the game any further attempts to go into ‘try before you buy’ and start playing again means the app completely crashes. The same happened on both my phone & iPad - first time okay, then after that won’t let you play. Big shame as I (clearly!) really want to play and am keen to buy the full version… but don’t want to waste my money if it’s going to be the same experience :(

Picked up this game after getting it for free on Xbox game pass, and figured it would make a great mobile game. so checked the App Store - lo & behold, here it was! Such a fun game, lovely animations, quirky music, unique design with endless replayability! Definitely worth a look if you want a good game to pick up and play on the go - but good luck putting it down!!

Good but not great
Pros: - Strategic, have to think about turns and card placement - Three different ‘classes’ with varied cards and game style - Cute art, easy to play on iOS device screen Cons: - Some cards are just better than others, not everything is viable. Low card variety. - Having to face a super version of your previous run is unfair and unfun, makes me not want to create broken builds - Not clear what the overall objective is, had to google how to get the true ending Overall it’s a good card game, just not the best in the genre.

Crashes with new update
Not sure if it’s just me but after updating to the latest version of the game it crashes once I hit the play button. Seeing how I paid for the full version, this is a huge disappointment. Other than the crashing issue, this game is super fun! I played it on Nintendo Switch previously and had so much fun I just knew I had to have it on my phone, too.
Phenomenal Game
Absolute joy to play and beat, and the amazing art style is evocative and inspiring. I would love to see more variation, in terms of enemies and environments, feels like a great base game which will be monumental with the right additions. I have a tiny gripe with choosing leaders as there is often one that is way better than the others, and I end up having less of a choice in that process, maybe an optional point buy system with traits and art could be implemented as well. Overall amazing!
Pay to play?
You only select a leader, then you have to pay? Unbelievable. The thing is, it seems like a pretty good game, but unless you’re going to splash the cash on a game that you only get a 30 second trial for, don’t download, and I would definitely not recommend
Good game marred by crashes
This is a good game but the experience is severely affected by the frequent crashes when loading into new scenes. This needs fixing asap.
Confusing layout
Instructions should be clearer, I couldn’t find where wallop was to drag into discard pile. I’m just constantly clicking on random buttons hoping it’s the correct one. Its not exactly like self explanatory with how it’s designed, so during the tutorial, maybe add or direct where the player needs to click in instead of simply stating what you need to do. Have arrows or prompts to where to click.

Better than vanilla slay the spire
Wildfrost takes the strategic depth of Slay the Spire and ramps up the challenge by requiring you to keep track when the enemy and your ally will attack. For instance, where in Slay the Spire would it ever be beneficial to play a card that harms your own character? In Wildfrost, such unconventional strategies can be the key to victory. The game's unique mechanics and the satisfaction of mastering them make for a deeply engaging and enjoyable experience.

Great game but iOS bug erases iPhone save
Wildfrost is an amazing deckbuilder, but there’s a save bug that will erase hours of your progress. Currently if you play the game on iPhone and then hop onto the iPad, not only does the save not sync over to the iPad, but when you try playing the game again on iPhone, all your progress will be wiped. I lost hours of saved data because of this and it was super frustrating
