Love this! Works well, the AI is hard enough that it feels challenging to play. But are there any plans to add the Armada and Edifice Expansions to this game as in-app purchases?
App immediately crashes instead of opening
I’d love to actually play the game I purchased. However, on all of my iOS devices, it immediately crashes upon opening. Devices are up-to-date, app is up-to-date, etc. As soon as purchase goes through on Apple’s side and shows in my payment history, I’ll be requesting a refund.

Worse after overhaul
Removal of the ability to change CPU player wonders and sides has caused loss of the ability to set up specific scenarios to experiment with and practice.
Expansions won’t work in other devices
I love 7 Wonders, I bought the two expansions with my cell phone. I also play on my iPad. I went to play on my iPad and I can’t get the Cities expansion to work, but it’s on my cell phone. I have logged in and out on both devices, but it still won’t work on my iPad. I mainly play on my iPad, so if I would have known they won’t transfer, I would have bought the expansion on it instead of my cell phone. So frustrating!

IOS 18.3.1 crashes
App crashes on open. The title screen appears as loading and then it closes and the user is returned to iPad or iPhone Home Screen.
Fun to play offline!
I got this app knowing that the online aspect might have been dead. However, the AI is fairly challenging and it’s pretty fun to play offline. I haven’t had any performance issues with the base game and expansion. Would recommend if that’s what you are looking for. Otherwise, go play the online implementation in BGA.
Lack of usage
Can’t make an account to sign in. Can’t make a private lobby to invite friends or family that purchase the app. Do not recommend to anyone. Only good for tutorial and learning. There is no reason to purchase
Bugs in the app
This app has issues connecting to the server for games with other players online. It could otherwise be a great game!

This is a great game! I just wish they had the Edifice and Armada extensions.

Love this game !
The only issue I have is if you have two players why can’t the rest be AI. Maybe, just my friend and I want to play. That bothers me and for some reason, not many people are playing so I mostly play the AI. Otherwise, it is awesome !! Not sure why it is not a higher rating or more people are not playing. This is a hidden treasure of a game for sure. I highly recommend it.
App not working on latest iOS (26.2). Cannot type anything into the interface
Keyboard does not appear when trying to type login information. Tried redownloading, resetting, and various other trouble shooting.
Bluetooth Keyboard Bug
I’m pretty sure there is a bug where if you have a Bluetooth keyboard connected to your iPad you can’t join a an online match.
Awesome game, great app and a total bargain
Seven Wonders is a must-have game, so much fun to play and is just the right balance between complex and enjoyable... very easy to learn with the in-built tutorial, but still challenging even when you have played many games. The app has changed a fair bit hence a lot of negative reviews... almost all are complaints about the app, not the game. The new app is still very good, but it is a pity that the original app was better, so it would be good to see a 'classic' or 'rollback' option available (nudge nudge developers..?!) This game is a rarity insomuch as it is actually fun to LOSE the damn game, as you can analyse and agonise over every single card you played, and still enjoy it. Hence, it's a great game for kids to learn and play as it is more about the skill and fun of playing than easy gratification. Do yourself a favour and buy the physical board game too, it is awesome and the expansions (both physical and digital) are must-haves, as they are both excellent, and the app versions are a total steal at the price. Arguably the best game money can buy for a tablet!

Great game with the new update, but cannot save
As soon as you leave an AI game or close the app, you cannot continue the game. I’ve looked in a few different places but there is no option to continue the game. This must be a bug and easily solvable. Please fix!

Title
Amazing app, but one major flaw
Everything about this app is great except for one thing: why does the game have to end when the game host leaves? It’s really annoying because there are so many sore losers who leave before the game is over just because they know they’re gonna lose. Please change this in the next update. Everyone else should still be able to play even when the host leaves. Either that, or, don’t allow everyone to see each other scores during the game so nobody will know preemptively if they’re gonna win or lose
Can’t play online
The game won’t let me create an account to play online so I’m missing out on 1/2 of what I paid for
Great game when it opens
I love this game. It is great for individual play against AI or virtual with friends. But since my phone updated, I cannot get the game to stay open.
After buying cities expansion tooltips disappear
If you hold your finger in a card you usually get help on what the card does. After buying the cities expansion this behavior broke forever. Now, even playing the regular game, I’m left without tooltips. Five stars anyways.
Does not work at all
Will not work at all. Clicking app icon opens a screen and then immediately shuts off. Scammed out of $5 with no recourse. 0 stars if possible.
Point calculation needs a revision
Game is great, but point calculation is bugged and doesn’t always gives the proper result for the different cards - and even simple things as points based on coin (ex: 8 coins giving only 1 point instead of 2). Also, an amelioration on being able to inspect all adverseraries’ card would be welcome. 4/5 rating for a great game.
Looks chunky and terrible
The last update ruined the graphics. Scaling is way off; looks all glitched. Don't get this if you want a game that looks good.

App won’t start
I bought this app 2 days ago and it immediately dies when starting up every time. I have the required iOs and iPad model. I’ve restarted ipad etc, no luck
I'm glad it's finally here!
The game runs well, has a nice UI, and gameplay is fast. I would love to see stats tracking, achievements, and expansions coming SOON. Some great opportunities for tournament play, as well. All in all, glad it's here; worth the money!

Boots frequently
I would rate it better if it weren’t for frequent interruptions due to being booted off and also everything is so small on the iPhone.
Nice, looking forward to the cities update
With each update the game becomes more polished. Thank you, Dev, for keeping this up. Like to see multiplayer option for two people. Right now there is a three player minimum (obviously). Perhaps an AI can be added (like Catan does) or have a future update (I’ll pay for this update!) with Duels, or a new separate app release of 7 Wonder Duels (2 player exclusive).
App isn’t working
Have had the app for years. 2/13/25 it just crashes out. 2/16/25 still isn’t fixed.
Pour Fan de 7 Wonders
L’application est trippante même si en ligne ça bogue pour se connecter. Il manque un volet pour choisir ses adversaires en ligne pour pouvoir jouer contre qui on veut. Et j’ai bien hâte que Cities et les Leaders soient disponible.
Was good...
I enjoy this board game and used to enjoy this app as a faithful reproduction that offered a slick way to play the game quickly...but the new (forced) update is terrible. Graphics look cheaper, the table set up is difficult to understand and all in all is just not fun to play anymore. Needs to go back or have another massive overhaul ASAP!
Bugged, requires internet access
This would be a good, but basic, adaption of the board game if it did not have a very serious bug. You cannot reliably play the game without an internet connection. After several solo, "offline" games it will come up with an "Erreur" message (yes they forgot to translate that too!) indicating that it cannot load the game data without an internet connection. Once you get somewhere you can reconnect again the message goes away for another dozen or so games before coming back again. Hopefully the developers are active and can fix this rather serious bug as well as the silly translation omission. However these sorts of bugs suggest that this is really a late beta release rather than a final, polished product. I would suggest waiting a bit to see whether things like this get fixed and whether they add a bit more polish to the game like some way to see the details of final scores and some sensible names for the bots: with all the historical names they could have drawn on for AI player names calling them "bot 2", "bot 3" etc is a bit pathetic! Still the basic game mechanics and graphics are good and with a bit more spit and polish this could be a first class implementation.
Worth the wait
Game runs well and the interface is well done. It plays easily, and fast. Many other new app implementations of tabletop games have not done this lately. Super happy with the game. The only negative is that it took so long to happen, but I'm ok with it if this is the result.
DO NOT DOWNLOAD
This app will not work. It opens for 2, maybe 3 seconds and then crashes. I paid $5 for nothing. I was excited. I even restarted my phone and reinstalled the app but nothing. Doesn’t even work.
Flaky multiplayer and poor end game
I love 7 wonders and the app was much anticipated. Good overall but I have never been dropped from a game before but with this one I disconnect often and it says I left the game. Also, at the end of a game on the summary screen you see the totals in each category but for the life of me I cannot figure out how to see the breakdown of each category to see how each number was achieved. A way to see more detail at the end would be well received.
The old interface is much better
The recent major update completely changed the game. It reworked the cards and introduced new ones. But the old interface was much better. After the update. It’s very hard to tell what the other players are playing. The new symbols are not as intuitive at all. Also you can no longer tell how much gold and military strength each player has. Making it hard to judge strategies outside of your two neighbours. Please bring back the old interface
Good enough I guess
The gameplay is good. Plays fast and easy to pickup and play. But there are no bells nor whistles (graphics, modes, achievements, etc.) All very bare bones. Hopefully additions will be made in the future that are free of charge and add some life to it all.
