Great product and seamless installation giving us ability to monitor while on vacation or just away for part of the day.
Latest version problem…
After updating to the latest version, the day's "events" can only be viewed in "list" mode; previously, it was possible to switch to "icon" mode. This change is essentially a regression—a step backward. I have already reported this to the customer service team and hope the developers will bring back the "icon" mode in the next update. Since there are often many events in a single day, scrolling through a list is inefficient, whereas "icon" mode displays videos in a 3x4 grid, making it much easier to scan and review the video files. Thank you.

We purchased the 4 camera system for our home out in the country. The cameras work pretty decent for our needs and so far the issues we’ve had aren’t really much fault on the cameras, but rather some user error and bad luck. We had some difficulties during setup, as we didn’t realize our WiFi signal couldn’t reach outside the metal exterior walls of our barndominium, so the cameras were struggling to pick up a signal after mounting and would freeze or loose connection often due to no WiFi signal. We had bought a WiFi extender as a temporary solution that helps amplify the signal just enough at the moment to reach all 4 cameras better at each corner of the house outside, and is currently what we have been using/working with so far until we might be able to purchase a better WiFi extender or find a different solution to allow the WiFi to reach outside the home un-interrupted. When everything is running smoothly, the live video feed and recordings are nice and decently clear, but not high enough quality to make out details if not maybe within 20ft of the cameras view. We have ours on motion sensing and love how it tracks the movement detected. Finicky with poor WiFi though as it will struggle to connect/detect motion. Appreciate the ability to use local memory on an SD card rather than be forced to purchase a subscription service, and the cameras themselves have been pretty durable, only having one damaged during a hail storm so the solar panel can’t be used for charging, but otherwise still works great! Definitely a pretty neat camera system all in all, but also definitely not suited for every home situation/setup without some preemptive planning beforehand!
Great cameras
Had them for almost a year and I love them. Had to contact customer service on 1 of the cameras that stopped working after a few months. I was shipped a replacement in fair amount of time. Happy with the customer service.

The cameras have been great, the app has been great except for somethings are just difficult to find by being to vague. Like being able to quickly turn of the warning message.
Gets worse with each update
Every update makes this ring camera app worse. Now I can’t even see the events. I realize I don’t subscribe but they used to show a still pic in the events. Now it keeps saying no events. I’m tired of buying new doorbell cameras.
Faille de sécurité …
L’appli est bien en mode gratuit . Elle envoie des notification dès que quelqu’un est détecté . Le direct est de bonne qualité . Même la nuit on distingue sans probleme . Toutefois il manque une option dans les réglages car ces caméras ont un gros défaut . Si on met détecte tout , elles détectes même une mouche qui passe devant . Ce qui est vite agaçant voir devient une source de stress vu les notifications que l’on reçoit . Si on ne met que les humains pas de soucis sauf que les véhicules ne sont pas du tout détectés ! Et ça c’est une faille car il suffit que quelqu’un s’introduise en véhicule en passant devant la caméra sans jamais être détecté par elle . Il faudrait une option qui permet de détecter les véhicules , voitures , camion . Afin de combler cette faille ! Et la ce sera parfait .
Aosu cameras
We used to use ring cameras but the battery would die often and paying for storage became too expressive. We tried Aosu and love it! Records well and the battery lasts a while.
Absolute GARBAGE!
There is literally NO SUPPORT unless, of course, you CALL someone?? In 2026?? Absolutely NOT. What a garbage company. I’m glad I moved into a house with this trash so I can throw it away and buy something that works!
Not bad
The quality of camera resolution is not bad. However, the network searching or connection is poor that it took at least 5 minutes to find my WiFi.
Was great, now slow on notifications
Reason for 2 stars is the “notifications have become Almost Useless” - it will be 1-2+ minutes after a person or car appears - or I will already be on the road when I get the notification of being in the driveway. Have been using Aosu cameras for over 2 years now, especially appreciate the local storage - no subscription and no data collection in the app.

Good video the sound spoils it, no sound control , The sound is very loud and tinny job to understand someone talking volume control would help 10/8/26 events no video removed memory card worked for 5 mins then no video play back removed memory card put it back in and format 2 nd time worked 5 mins and no event video again It’s still not recording

This app is absolute garbage. You can’t sign up. It won’t let you get to the approved button

Glitchy App
I love these cameras. But recently the app has been trash. It sends me push notifications that there’s activity but when the app opens, it’s showing the newest activity is days prior and will not open livestreams. I have 4 cameras and a base. I want to keep using this system but it’s useless if I can’t see what’s actually being recorded or watch the cameras live.
Systems
The cameras have great quality great zoom age as well and sound. Only thing is when watching sometimes the app freezes or is in constant cycling mode so you have to restart it over.

I have the doorbell and indoor cameras. Best cameras on the market that don’t trick you into needing a subscription.
Nothing Works
I’m having issues with my cameras, they detect motion when there is not motion. If someone comes in driveway to deliver a package camera detects them and moves completely in the opposite direction ( doesn’t capture the event). A lot of false notifications all day long. One of the camera just totally stopped working, getting an error saying “ camera is offline”. Cameras are brand new out of the box. Kind of regret buying this brand. Also the app support is not working.

Works great. Wish it would be updated to work with CarPlay
Slow or never loads
Good camera but takes one million years to load and now I can’t access events that happened overnight so I can’t even watch the footage
4 cameras
I want you to write a small review on these cameras. I have four cameras and I just got all of them different. and for the most part, the camera is OK however, the app is horrible. probably the worst app I ever seen of cameras it freezes. A lot heaven forbid if you’re ever in need or someone comes in your yard at night you might as well forget it. You’re not gonna see it till maybe next morning if you get to see any movement at all. on a good note, the company has given me the money back on one camera however it does not neglect affect it. They didn’t fix the issue. now have an issue with the others doesn’t matter if you’re on the cloud or the SD card I have used both and both have the same issues.

Absolutely Horrendous
This has to be on the worse camera system I have and I only had 1 (which is this) the poorly designed menu and with straightforward options hidden. Having to find it each time and the camera menu and the fact we need to pay a subscription while already having the camera paid from. Is just absolutely insane to me, not only that no subscription means no auto recording 🤗. No rewinds 🤗, you have to manually watch the camera and hit record and it’s annoying when you get 3 cameras and a life 😬. Anyone who wants these camera or this app, BEWARE you will be paying extra for something you done paid for, well soon be getting new ones!

Indoor cameras and outdoor solar cameras
Good cameras but they dont respond to the camera controls such as rotation and most times the talk function doesn’t work on the indoor rotating C2E2D cameras. My outdoor solar cameras are great but also sometimes the rotation function doesn’t cooperate well. Hope they can fix these issues with a software update.

When somebody stepped on my porch it’s 5 to 10 minutes before I get notified. That is way toooooo long. Help
Good and reliable security camera
Have been using these cameras since 2025 and it’s been a great experience. Setup was quick and simple, video quality is clear day and night, and the motion alert is reliable without being annoying. The app is easy to use and lets me check my home anytime with minimal delay. Overall a solid and dependable security camera I’d recommend.
Cameras great, app not so much
I’ve had Aosu cameras for over a year. Love the cameras but the app is frustrating. Whether you’re on your phone network or home internet sitting right next to my router, it doesn’t always load events. Time out or just sit there loading. It’s like every other update, the app doesn’t function properly. Please fix the app bugs.
Good but not great.
The app is easy to navigate. My biggest issue with the app is that it constantly changes the notification settings on me. If I turn the notifications OFF, it will automatically turn them back on within an hour. I’ve set a schedule for it to send me notifications but will inevitably turn everything back on - factory setting essentially. Extremely annoying when I believe the notifications are off to then be bombarded with notifications that my neighbours are walking around after I’m home from a night shift.
SolarCam D1
I received and installed the cameras a few weeks ago, and am quite happy with the results. They were easy to setup, easy to connect with the app, and do a good job of surveillance around the house. Their customer support team was also very helpful.
Kinda useless
Pros: quality is nice and it has a wide range of motion. Cons: the camera doesn’t save any videos unless you walk directly in front of it. I have mine in my backyard, it doesn’t alert or save videos of me walking in the backyard whatsoever. In direct view of the camera. I’d say it alerts and saves footage when I’m no further than 5 feet from the camera. And that’s still not a guarantee. We got this camera in case our neighbor threw anything in the backyard to harm our dogs as there has been threats of that. Unfortunately the camera wouldn’t save any footage if that were to happen. I’d have to be monitoring live to see anything.
Aosu Doorbell Came
Really good picture quality and easy to use. More options while using event viewing wouldn’t hurt. Especially when you’re catching a thief steal something. When two way call comes in from the front/ doorbell it takes far too long to load and the voice tool doesn’t really work to well as in it takes to long to relay what I say to speaker on doorbell. This is still with a good signal. But I’m just telling what I’ve experienced overall I love your products. I wish I had indoor cameras and another outdoor one. Then I’d be worry free. ✌️😎

The resolution is good; overall the camera itself is great but you’d have to subscribe in order to capture events (motion detection shots) and use other features which is PRICEY. Without a subscription, it’s just a camera. If you’re concerned about your safety and are in need of surveillance, don’t bother with this. The cost of subscription is a month’s worth of groceries.
Not bad until latest update on the C9S model
The New C9S model just keeps missing events . The camera seems to have a shutter that’s always clicking. It appears to go to sleep when it’s not detecting anyhting and suddenly wakes up clicking between infrared mode and colour mode. Because the camera lens sleeps it misses events. Support team good at responding to you and goes out of their way to help but the issue still persists
Good experience
I bought 4 cams for my home and got the inside camera free. The app is easy to use. I bought another set for my parents. It works great.
Terrible. Please never get one and save yourself from hell
These rarely work. They work when nothing is happening, but the second a bunch of things happen, and they send you notifications something is going on, they stop working and say “offline” or “can’t connect”. They only save SOME videos of events that happen, and one of ours broke after 3-5 months. It can move up and down, but can’t move left to right anymore. It’s about as bad as you can get for a camera you pay this much for. Please save yourself the trouble. Get a name brand camera

Super satisfied with my purchase (camera and doorbell). easy installation, clear image even at night, and the app easy to use. Detection is reliable, including the tracking mode, and notifications come instantly. I recommend.
Extra fees
Why do we need to pay extrat money to watch our previous footage. Are you guys really money hungry?
Great Camera app not as good
So I purchased the doorbell pro and I can’t fault it. However the app doesn’t show the notifications on the app for example the numbers against the app. The app needs to be updated.

Last app update broke it. Cameras immediately stopped recording on my local HDD.
Useful device
I have been using this device for about 2yrs now and it operates very well while in the house or at a remote location. My only request is that this app be made available on Apple TV App Store and on the Amazon Firestick App Store. So I can get the notification while watching a streaming video.
Good product, poor app
Can’t change device’s name in app, can’t change default view of camera. There are some functions in the app that leading to freezing screen and glitches.
Not so good since updates
I liked this app, I would’ve give it 5⭐️ for the way it was when I first installed it, but since the last updates it horrible! It is so hard to scroll back through the day to see what happened. Can anyone advise on how to get the old version back if this is possible?
