Lock status can be seen through the “hexagon”
This smart lock and app is the easiest and best one to me so far. Actually, we can check the lock status by clicking the “hexagon” on the right top corner, but it will be even better if the lock status is showed without the need of clicking the “hexagon”. No complaints to me. :p

Been trying to find the operating manual to no avail.
Room For Improvement
The lock was easy to install and the app was easy to set up. There are a couple of areas where the app could use improvement. 1) Push notifications to confirm the door is locked or unlocked 2) An on screen indicator to show the lock is either locked or unlocked.
Come On Guys
I’ve recently installed 3 locks at 3 different properties, and 3 gateways, one at each property. Are you telling me y’all don’t have an option to REARRANGE the locks and gateways? Or HIDE gateways so I only see the locks? No rearrangement options to make the screen more functional? Just jumble EVERYTHING together? Guys this is 2026, you can do better!
Missing one feature
Overall I find the app useful and functioning. However, as others have stated, a visual indicator showing locked or unlocked would be helpful.
Doesn’t work
I am trying to add my device to the app but when I click on locks to add my new lock I keep getting a message that says to turn blue tooth on and this on! I’ve turned it off and back on and still nothing. I touch the door keypad and try again to “wake it up” and nothing. Still “please turn Bluetooth on” and you can’t get in touch with anyone for app support.
Easy and Functional
The app works well so far. It looks like some of the previous complaints have been addressed by the developer. It would be great if WiFi vs Bluetooth connectivity was also an option. But it works well!
Cant get in!!!
Im out of the country. My house sitter cant/ dog sitter got locked out. I went in the app and they wanted to charge me $50 for an outside IT person to trouble shoot. Not cool. App said “Not connected to Gateway “. My house sitter cannot get in. She has tried my code and herscand 2 additional ones i set up. So frustrating and NOT GOOD!!!
Great app with some issues
The system does tell you when to change the battery. The product itself has some issues with locking and can be dangerous.
Lock App Functionality
The lock was easy to install and connect to the app. It could use some drastic improvements, like allowing two people to sign in to the account and for the app to accurately reflect if the door is unlocked or locked. Also, the capability to lock or unlock the door while away doesn’t work sufficiently.

Security issues
The app and lock were very easy to setup. However there were no directions on how to lock the door from the outside using the keypad. Also, I am not getting push notifications of when the door is locked or unlocked. I agree with most reviews the Home Screen should state whether or not the door is locked or unlocked when opening the app. The Face ID required to open the app hardly works. If you use the Face ID to open the app, then close the app, the Face ID is not engaged if you reopen the app. Makes me feel a bit unsafe knowing the app can be opened without a passcode/ Face ID. Also the remote unlock is not working. So don’t rely on it to let someone in if you’re away. Recommend getting a different door system
Notifications
Love the lock and all the features, the only thing that its lacking is that the notifications are not working. I tried everything and i still dont get any.
Horrible
Doesn’t auto lock when it’s supposed to. Huge safety issue. Also does not tell you if your door is locked or unlocked.
Works well
If they can update the app to show the lock/unlock icon when activated that would help tremendously. Also provide the options for 12hr/24hr and date format would make it a 5 stars
No verification
Developer not sending verification to my email address. Yes I checked junk mail.
It displays the battery status - why not if it’s locked or not.
Like others, it’s frustrating that the app doesn’t indicate whether or not the door is actually locked. Please fix this.

Gateway needed
Easy to install and connect. I didn’t realize it was not wifi connected so I had to get a gateway. Was only about $30 more but seemed weird that it would be Bluetooth capable and not WiFi capable. I agree that it would be useful to see on the Home Screen if the lock is in fact locked. Most likely does not simply because if you don’t have the gateway, it can’t. Click the hexagon at the top right hand corner to see lock status. Or if you connect to Alexa, you can see and control a little easier in that app. Overall for price, functionality, and security, it’s pretty solid.
Verify if locked the Door
I have tried to assess to see if I forgot my door is locked. The app doesn’t show if the door is locked or not.
Need a widget!!
Over all it does what it should. I greatly hope they add a widget soon. Basic lock/unlock type quick widget would be fantastic addition
App not pairing
After several tries and restarting devices this does not pair with the Veise KS01
Very user friendly
App is super simple to use and took no time to set everything up. I can agree, the only downside is not actually knowing if the deadbolt locks remotely unless you are at the door which would defeat the purpose. Would love to see an update with the feature
Doesn’t show locked/unlocked
Missing a crucial ingredient of showing if the door is locked or unlocked. Please get your ux/ui team to make this simple change.
Few improvements
Similar to other reviews, it would be great if the app could actually tell me if it was locked or not locked. Also notifications do not work. Even though I have them turned on I never get notified on my Apple iPhone. Finally I have to upload the data a few times before I finally get recent actions. Ideally, it would be great if the data could get loaded real time and notify me with every action.
Out of business???
Won’t answer emails. The lock stopped working and I can’t uninstall or reinstall the lock. Can’t reset. The lock support is unavailable. They have a Gmail account to contact for US support. 22 days and no response. Basically have a deadlock now.
5 stars is possible
It’s a basic but effective app. I’ll re-rate to 5 stars if you allow for auto lock in less then 10 seconds — right now 5 seconds is an option but when selected it throws an error and says the range needs to be “10 to 900 seconds”
Adding to a new device
I can’t add my wife’s device on the app, it only work for 1 device.
Good but not great
Would really be beneficial if the lock on the main screen showed if it was locked or unlocked. Not being able to add a quick glance know if the door is locked or unlocked it’s kind of a bummer.

Software password lost frequently. As others mentioned it would be great if it said lock was locked
Straightforward, but it’s missing a key colonel
App is user-friendly, but it needs (requires!) an upgrade (emailed company about this) to show lock status. Initially I thought a work around was to view the lock records, but if someone manually locks or unlocks the door, it’s not on there. Should be a straightforward push…
App is okay has many bugs
App is feature rich. That being said not all the features behave as expected. Ymmv on the features Also the app on a daily basis reports attention needed. But when you go into the app? NOTHING. Very frustrating. Im surprised apple lets the developers get away with this. At the very least it does work.

Needs to show whether the door is locked or unlocked. App does not show whether the door is locked or unlocked.

Can’t make an account
I just downloaded the app and immediately deleted it since it lead me to nowhere. It asks me for my number/email when registering so I fill that out like usual but the the verification code I get never matches. Both codes from texting and email. Neither of them worked. I understand why this is a 2.9 rated app.
