I’m a civil/environmental professional engineer Late last century, I led a team that f engineers for a 60 square mile area in Florida. We spent nearly $250K for on-ground weather stations coupled with Doppler Radar to get the same accuracy of this app. Thanks

It’s alright
It’s good for many things but one specific thing that matters a lot. I went to NOAH,the news, accuweather, hurricane trackers, and etc a while back and saw hurricane Milton 120mph on all Sites then I go here and see on live wind section 45mph. This is extremely inaccurate but since the rest is good I’ll give it 4 stars.

hPa discrepancy
I'm writing this from Belgaum (IXG/VOBM). At present, the Zoom Earth app is showing the local QNH as 1008. However, my handheld barometer is showing 921.6. Keeping in mind that Belgaum is at an altitude of about 720M, applying a pressure lapse rate of approximately 1hPa/9M, the actual pressure should be about 80 hPa lower than three sea level standard of 1013.2. I'm inclined to believe that my handheld meter is correct. Can you check this and let me know why is there app not calibrated?

This is a great app. Totally worth the fee. Wish I had discovered it earlier. If you follow weather where you live or are traveling to it gives you the info!

Just a blurry mess. If you only want to zoom all the way out and see state and country lines you're in luck. If the point of the frustrating log in just to try all the buttons and see a blurry mess is to lure you to buy the version that actually works, I'm not biting. If you let people see the real deal for a day or two, that would be great. I'm not buying an unknown product.
Really good but
I know it shows you really good stuff. It’s really useful this app. I’m just wondering does this also show tornadoes it show cyclones and all and I think hurricanes and it’s really good. I was just wondering about the tornadoes.

Doesn’t work for what I needed from it…
I needed it to be clear when viewing Lake Erie so that I could see mud lines after a big blow. But, the resolution is too poor to be able to see that.

I recently opened this app on my phone for the first time in a while and was extremely disappointed to see the effective screen size had been reduced and there was a wide banner ad at the bottom of the screen. I have neither updated the app or my OS or anything, so they made this change on their end. Very disappointing and classless. I’m so thoroughly tired of ad culture infecting EVERYTHING.

I just wish that there were some easy instructions to download to learn how to make it easier to operate.
Graphics error
Used to love this app and use it a lot but recently it won’t show any data on the map and just shows a graphics error message. Currently running IOS 18.7.2

The app was the best, but now you can’t see what’s happening with upcoming cyclones. For serious cyclones etc coming it should be free like it was.
Good, not great
This has become my go-to weather app mostly because of its use of open street map who resist racist renaming of places. However, the display text is unnecessarily small, and there is no way to see how the arc of a day will unfold without playing the animation. I’d like at a quick glance to see when the rain will start or the temperature rise above freezing.

Really liked the platform and bought into it. I am currently in a snowing band through South Dakota, says no snow on Zoom and there’s snow showing on the radar on other weather applications.

Whenever I have to travel or to compare and to understand the forecast on the news, I always go on Zoom Earth. I live in French Polynesia.

Inaccurate radar data
As of about two weeks ago, coincidentally when I purchased a subscription, the radar view (in both the app and web site) show snow precipitation when in fact it’s well above freezing and it’s actually raining. This seems to be an issue with one of the data providers the app uses being messed up, but no one at the app has noticed this and disabled the provider. Otherwise the app is quite good so far and I use it daily, however if this radar issue doesn’t get resolved soon I’m not sure I’ll continue my subscription as other apps don’t have this issue.

This app no longer provides radar in Australia( which was part of the purchase) live sat is unavailable quite often and the had sat leaves a lot to be desired. Will not be renewing subscription!!

Pretty dam good app for storms , I was impressed enough to recommend it to my friends and family to track cyclones koji.

Only accurate 30% of the time.
It says it’s rainy right now all over…but it’s dry as a bone. Not the first time either. Maybe it’s only accurate for certain places or if you pay.

It was great…
They dropped the radar in the most recent update. Now it’s just another weather app. Average. Apple weather is better. I use to love this and accurately call the weather all the time. Being in a wet/ humid climate this was incredibly helpful. Now I use it far less.

I prefer the app Windy there’s so many more features and it looks a lot nice in my opinion.

We have wildfire burning about two hours away from home it started yesterday morning and its still not on zoom earth. How often does the system get refreshed?

Competent and extremely useful. Covers up to North and South Pole. Detailed info. Shows fires in Canada.
