I’ve had this app for ages and it uses the exact same radar as bom and has the exact same details if not worse considering how many times it’s been wrong and now it wants a subscription to access free information what a joke and a scam the devs should be ashamed
Needs an anti age-ist intervention
Generally a great app but the text is insanely small and folks who need to know whats happening with the wind and weather don’t always have their spectacles handy - not good enough people 🧐🧐

Terrible scam ads
The ads don’t appear to be properly screened - be careful of malicious redirects and scam ads.
Good but room for improvement
Pretty good app. Don’t know why moon takes precedence over waters on the menu. And it would be better if tides could be based on nearest ocean.

Contains adult ads that cannot be removed unless paid
The ads are for all weird adult objects that makes checking the app in front of anyone embarrassing. I use foreign websites to buy electronics so I’m not sure why they are advertising other things.
Notifications
It’s a good app with plenty of features, which I use regularly. It’s easy to get to the rain map from the main screen for instance. My only gripe is that 20% of the screen is taken up by a notification that returns every time you open the app. This notification says that various alerts may not be accurate because location permissions have not been turned on. Yes. I get it. If I wanted to turn on location permissions I would have done so. No need to tell me every day.

Great weather app. Easy to use and latest update is really fast and smooth to use.
Not secure
Awful static sound for rain alert. Also had a scam virus warning flashing red in the ads saying I had to click to stop it. It wouldn’t go away so I rebooted my phone. Still there when I restarted. Lost safari trying to get rid of it by deleting the app. Layout ok but annoying sounds and not secure.
Pretty good app
Pretty good app with lots of useful weather info eg sunrise/set, moon, tides, UV. A predicted ’feels like’ temperature on the graph would be extremely helpful - I use that info to choose what I wear. I would also like to see the highest and lowest temperatures (actual and feels like) recorded so far in each day at a glance.
Not loading
This app is (was) great and very accurate but since whatever the latest update is, whenever I open the app, the little tornado logo is just spinning as though it’s loading but it never actually loads. I have had the app sitting open for half an hour at the longest and it still isn’t loading! Please fix this, I’m assuming it’s a bug in the latest update.

I got this as a weather app simpler than accu weather. But in store I did not notice it was by subscription. Not sure I want to keep it and am testing it. I don’t like that I must sign in to google to use it. So you see it is on trial.
Best weather app for Apple Watch
Title says it all. I’ve tried them all and this is by far the best with everything easily right there for you including the local weather radar. Really like the complications too such as lunar cycle.

Weather forecast is generally inaccurate and the adds that you cannot get rid of are actually disturbing and disgusting. Wouldn’t give it a star

Great app but…
This is an excellent app for coastal weather, tide heights and weather warnings. The only minor two issues are, the daily weather and weather warning notifications and distance from weather stations. Firstly, it will only send you a notification once and then, you have to keep opening the app to disable and then re enable the notifications. Then again, it will only send you one notification before you have to reset it. Weather warnings I can understand but daily weather should be sent every day and not have to keep resetting the notifications. The other issue is the distance from where you are and the weather station that is supplying the data. The nearest station for my coastal data is 23miles away. How can the weather for my location be accurate if the station is 23miles away? Shame, because this is an excellent app otherwise.

Sleazy Temu ads constantly
I admit I don’t want to pay for premium. I don’t mind normal ads, but recently the ads have have become constant temu sleaze. Reluctantly getting a different app.
The Best Radar Map in Australia
Better than BOM! How is that even possible? I mostly use the app for the radar as I’m a pensioner and don’t have the funds to pay for premium and don’t like looking at all the ads.

widget layout is nice. spams you with 100 million notifications and makes it really laborious to turn them off.

Was brilliant for showing tide times & heights but the stats have disappeared for Devon & Cornwall.

It was good but now displays incorrect high tide data
Really liked this app until they stopped reporting the double high tide that occurs on the Solent and river Hamble as they thought it was anomaly. Without that information it is useless for the many users in this area. Will switch to another app until it’s fixed.

At last I’m down to one app!
Over the years I have used many weather apps. At present I have 10 (Yes 10!) apps on my phone and iPad to track the weather. I surf and paddle board and really need to know a lot of info before I venture out. I came across this app from a paddle boarder who has paddled over the world and round the country and provides Ted talks with a wealth of experience. She recommended this app as one of her essential items to have for her travels. She was right! This app is spot on. Other apps I have all miss something which caused me to toggle between them to paint a full Picture prior to my trips. This does that and it’s live as close as it can be. No 1-3 hours ago reporting this is as live as it can be. Wind, tide, swell radar, warnings etc etc all there! One “minor” point. I can’t get the widgets to display on my Apple Watch 7 yet even after following the instructions. I’m sure this will be resolved in a future update. The price is fab for the full version too. I have paid a lot for subscription versions which as I have said before don’t have all I need. Get it!!!
Great App, poor watch complications
Would be so much better if you could take advantage of the ability to have multiple complications eg tide & swell & temp. Instead, you can only choose one option per complication type. Wasted opportunity.

Early days review
Just started using this in the UK and will be watching it closely. It’s a great looking app - use in dark mode. One thing needs adding quickly though - Home Screen Widgets. Until these are available I am likely to continue to use other Weather apps as the default. Once widgets are available I’m more that likely to pay the money to remove the adds - as I hate them! Will give more stars when widgets are built in.
