Used to be a great app
Not sure what has changed, but within the past few months, there is close to a 10% accuracy in what this depicts. As an example, right now, it has been pouring for 15 minutes with lightning and thunder. There is no precip in the forecast. I understand forecasts, but this used to be fairly accurate.

Number of days of forecast is broken
The number of days shown is fixed at 4, even after upgrading. Please fix asap. Hard restart did not fix Re: developer response Hi I already read your forum and had the settings on auto before this review. Does not work. Please fix
OK but wouldn’t be my life on it!
I’m in the Bahamas. The wind display and forecast is pretty accurate as it is mostly aligned with what we experience. The precipitation forecast is useless. Never correct. Radar is not dependable.

I have been using Ventusky, perhaps since it was first available for iOS. Ventusky has maintained great quality and features, without the cyclic downgrades that I experience with many other WX apps. I use Ventusky in conjunction with METAR, and every other WX app that displays professional, accurate, and timely information. No. I have never received any perks or free services from, nor do I know anyone whom works for them. Unreliable
I paid for premium service to be able to schedule work. This app is only reliable if you don’t have windows or doors and need to know the current weather conditions. Don’t count on them being accurate 6 hrs out. I wish I could just get my money back. Absolutely worthless!!
Great but wish some basic features were in the free version
Loving the app so far. There are some really neat features just in the free version alone. I would really like to see wind speed and humidity as part of the free version instead of premium. I work for a government agency and find the app helpful for work but need to document wind speed and humidity in addition to wind gusts, and the government is unfortunately not going to pay for premium features, so I have to use other apps to get that info.

Can’t agree with itself…
I really like the presentation of Ventusky. It looks great and really presents the weather in a clear and attractive way. Some of the weather models are laughably inaccurate and you need to pick one that’s better - amalgamating them rarely works - but the app allows you to do that. The kicker, though, is that the icons don’t match what’s happening on the map. So I can literally see the location on the map with no clouds but the hourly icon is overcast, and then look forward a few hours to see a bunch of clear sky icons but the map shows a massive bunch of cloud rolling in. No weather app will be right all the time, but having the icons not match the map is ridiculous. I refunded but if that ever gets fixed I’d buy again. To respond to developers reply, after further use, the cloud icon isn’t wrong because of complicated cloud layers (I’m referring to seeing a cloudy icon when the map shows no clouds at any height for miles). The icon is wrong because it doesn’t change when you change weather source. It remains tied to the default weather provider even if you change to a different model that’s totally changed the forecast.

Premium options
I’m suddenly locked out of half the options even though I have a premium subscription. Which shows they should all be available but they are not. Everything is updated, new ipad, latest ios, etc. It was working fine this morning but now it’s not, on both my ipad and iphone. And I’m logged in.
Easy to use
I love the map and various settings. The 14 day forecast works great with precipitation. I like the fronts setting too.
Misinformation
Gibraltar (UK) is NOT in Andalucía, spain, please can this be corrected? We are part of the United Kingdom since 1713.

maps errors
Hello, dear ventusky development team, I am a user in China. I live in Shanghai. I would like to give feedback on the problem. One is that the data flow is sometimes not smooth and the loading is slow. The other is the dripping lake on the other side of Nanhui, which has actually been built long ago, including the East China Sea Bridge and Yangshan Port, but the map data has not been updated and has not been fully displayed. I hope the development team can compare the Gaode map, check for omissions and fill in the gaps, and improve the software to improve the user experience of the application.
Too expensive
400% increase? Nope. Not anywhere near worth that. I just need to make sure it’s not in automatic renewal.

I work offshore and this is invaluable to scheduling likely work stoppages due to weather.
Deteriorated forecast accuracy
This used to be my go to app for weather. Great layout and visual experience clearly shows all the data you could need. Problem is over the last year I’ve noticed a significant degradation in the forecast quality. Days where it says it’s sunny but the radar map is literally showing that it’s currently raining and will be for hours. The last few days it says it’s foggy but not a sign of fog. Met office app for UK gives vastly superior forecast but their layout is dire. Sadly I simply don’t trust Ventusky forecast any more in the UK. I suspect they switched to a cheaper forecast provider that just provides sub par forecast.
Lots of data if you can read it
This app is super informative, there are so many parameters you can read about the weather, unfortunately, I have yet to find a way that I can actually read it most of the time. The font is so tiny and I really wish it just had a simple view of a five day forecast. Also, it will tell you that there are alerts in the area, but you can’t actually see them like other weather apps.

I have premium + and have logged in through Apple and I can’t open several views. I keep on getting windows to buy premium. But I definitely have it and it renews Feb 27 Can’t figure out where to ask a question.
Greedy
Making all the Apple Watch widgets a premium feature was a very greedy move. This alone is enough reason for me to switch
Data pointer is inconsistent
Why does the data pointer’s little black arrow point inconsistently to “whatever”? There is no indication of what the direction it is pointing to means. And it can be pointing in the direction the wind is coming from, or, it can point in the direction the wind is going. Am I doing something wrong? Good app otherwise. A month later, and it’s still doing the same thing.
Old location in Notifications and no support
I'd give this a higher rate, BUT is basically impossible in the app to submit a support email/ticket. Also the automatic notifications always get stuck on old locations and don't update it to actual one (yes Location service is turn to Always for the app).
Not impressed
As a retired professional pilot I'd initially thought this looked potentially a good app with lots of useful data, having been looking at it for a few weeks, I won't be renewing it, very disappointed, badly presented inaccurate information in my opinion. Probably just tried to do too much and resulted in something of a mess up.

Best Performance in a weather app
What a great find for a weather app. This is not a weather app for those who just want to find out what the temp is outside and if it is going to rain today. This is an app for those who want to understand the weather even more and dig into the why of weather forcasting. I would like to have fronts delineated a little more clearly, but other than that I am very happy with this APP. Go Vertusky.

Epic Awesome Weather Prediction Tool!!!!
I’m basically on weather watch for my family and friends in 7 different states. From Tennessee to Idaho & California. I have been told, my predictions are more accurate than the TV weather bimbos. 🤣 I did spend two years in a NOAA radar station in Monett MO, While I was president of the Lakes Country Search & Rescue Squad. And I was the only civilian in the Untied States who could bypass NOAA in issuing a Tornado Warning. “Our Radar Station” had a 5 mile blind spot. Our Town!!!! 🤣 It was put there to protect Joplin & Springfield. NOT MONETT!! I gave radar info to the team of 24 spotters & spotter info to the radar operator. It worked well. And was historic for the fact, it was the only time in history that a civilian organization could bypass NOAA for issuing a warning!!!!!!
Air pressure a premium feature now?!
So air pressure, clouds and most of the other data is a premium feature now??!! That’s a perfect reason for me to uninstall the app! I’ve been Ventusky supported for many years but this is very disappointing.
Almost everything in one spot
I absolutely love this app. The predictions are superior to all the others. So many great features to love. The one drawback is that it lacks in current and predictive radar. While the precipitation predictor is great, the actual radar options for predictive range could be added.

This is a very impressive looking app with loads of functionality, information and data. However, I have been sitting here as the rain pours down outside but the app indicates no rainfall anywhere near this spot. What I want from a weather app is accuracy and reliability and on this showing I have neither. Very sad.

Every time I log in I have to create a new password, every time I open my phone I have to log in, it's a weather site for Gods sake, not a bank account !!!
Detailed Weather Forecast - Excellent Graphics
It is worth zooming out to take a wider view of current weather conditions. Take the time to view ALL available Charts to assist understanding the complexity of the forecasters task. Wind direction graphics shown in very wide views is, to me, akin to art. The fact that this is based on collected data is difficult to comprehend. Thanks to the dedication of the Team behind this project we can experience something about this wonderful Planet that would otherwise be hidden. Many thanks to everyone involved in producing and presenting this App, for sharing your knowledge and experience of a subject that affects everyone. Great app, crappy update removes features in place for subscription fee
I get it, we all want to make money. Sell the app for a reasonable price, lose the subscription. No one wants them. Believe we all paid for this app at some time. Wish you’d have left it at that.

It used to be a great app the visuals and data sets are fantastic but they don’t use ECMWF much anymore and has become horrendously inaccurate. Even something as basic as the feels like temp, is way off

The app is not working on either of my iPads. I always found this app excellent.
Good but could be better!
Main problem is that with ageing eyesight, the numbers - wind speed etc are hard to read. Could do with an option to increase the font size!

Not accurate after last update
Currently in Tafraoute, Morocco, states max temp today will be 16 degrees at 3pm, however it’s 9.30am now and it should be 12 degrees but is 17 degrees already! Was fairly accurate before the update, now it’s way off!
