Reliable forecasts
By far and away the best Met app available. Certainly for the west coast of Britain, but also reliable for overseas travel. One of the best features is the radar graphic particularly when tracking weather fronts including cyclones in the Arabian Sea while at sea and on the coast.

Annoying ads everywhere can’t even find close button. Deleted app.
Widget?
App is generally good, but the widget is showing yesterday's weather, which is not very helpful. Specifically, it shows the temp range and "visual" forecast from the previous day, which is on top of the detail view.

Again a really good app totally ruined by adverts
Not US friendly
I like the app, but am interested in precipitation values as well as wind speed and temperature. I can change units for speed and temperature, but not precipitation. I need inches, not mm to be of value.
Accurate Forecasts
Reports weather for very tight area and always reliable - my ‘go to’ weather app for cycling in the French Alps 😁
Latest UI redesign breaks it for me. (Updated 21/02/26)
It is now unusable for me. Scrolling gets stuck; feels very laggy and opening a day to get details only sometimes works after repeated attempts. Turned off all the cards in attempt to reduce lag and jerkiness but did not fix. Very bad considering price hike. Will be unsubscribing if not fixed in next update. There are plenty of other options. UPDATE: I received your message apologising for the issues I’m experiencing(was that message LLM generated? Seems like it was at least partially, it has the LLM tone to it) anyway, I followed your advice and uninstalled the app, restarted the phone, reinstalled the app, restarted the device but experience the same issues with the sticky scrolling/freezes. I turned off all the cards but sill sticky scrolling. Trying to open a day to view details very rarely works and when it does screen is frozen for a few seconds and then maybe a second of interaction then freezes again. The sideways scrolling hourly view at the top also freezes and is extremely sticky. It is basically unusable. I’ll be uninstalling it again and will try reinstalling again when you release another update and will give more feedback. I’m curious, did you use vibe coding for this v2 update? It looks very generic like an Ai generated UI. And obviously it’s extremely buggy. I do my own vibe coding and I know that technically the code works but it is messy and requires a lot of manual checking. I would not use vibe coding for a real consumer app, only for personal playground projects. To be honest the old v1 version was absolutely fine. There was no need to upgrade, it worked well. I would give people who are experiencing performance issues with v2 a partial refund to offset the massive price hike and roll back to the old version if it’s a widespread issue. If not widespread then give those people a partial refund and explain that the issue for them cannot be fixed and we can just uninstall and not use it anymore. Thanks. Update: 27/06/26 - the scrolling is still dysfunctional but I now think this is a coding decision. The touch scroll only activated in a very narrow range just left of the centre and at the very edge at each side. This is extremely stupid and annoying. I guess it’s because you want users to be able to also press the icons to activate a pointless hint about the icon.
Accurate
Excellent data and historically very accurate. This is my favorite weather app, but the ads are super annoying so the paid version can be worth it. But there are also free apps available with the same data - so what is the value paying for the subscription? Just so the same data can be displayed in a different way?
I don’t live in Basel
I’ve really enjoyed using this app but it’s gone downhill lately. The widget does not load data until it is used to open the app making it rather useless. My biggest complaint is that the app Insists on opening with Basel weather. I don’t have Basel In my favourite list and am not interested in the weather there as much as I am at home.
Family sharing
After coming to the end of my subscription, we decided with my partner to share this great app via ‘Family Share’ but to no avail. It refuse to accept me as part of the family plan and either have advert or pay again the full subscription. Just impossible to sort this out. Please help. (Tried many times to cancel and reload but still the same).
My ‘go to’ weather app
I farm. I enjoy outdoors sports and activities. Meteoblue is the most informative, easy to navigate and accurate app to help plan around the weather.

So many adverts! And no uv info by the hour- just an overall rating for the day
Great App for Pilots
Very useful app, I use it to get local forecast for paragliding. My only annoyance is a bug, which prevents me from renaming favourites that were defined using coordinates. If this gets fixed, I’ll update the review to 5 stars.
This is not Meteoblue anymore
If you go to community forums it takes you to page that has “Windy” on it. I reported a problem some days ago and haven’t had a response. I will not be renewing my subscription.
Too many non-cancellable adverts
The app is good, and no less accurate than others. My mian issue with it is the bery frequent adverts for games which do not have an X to cancel them. The only option is to close the app and reopen it.
Always useful
Good, clear forecasts for many places, and the accuracy is quite good, too.

Keep getting ridiculous pop up messages saying my scanner is out of date

Unresponsive
The app suddenly changed its format last year and had become difficult to use. For some reason it is now almost impossible to scroll and it has far less clarity. My husband had the free version, which works much better on his phone.
Great app but the v2 is not compatible with iOS17
I loved MeteoBlue until I updated to it’s latest version 2 which has major scrolling issues with my iPhone on iOS17. It works on more recent iOS versions and I don’t want to update as my phone’s a bit old. I’m a paying user and a fix would be nice.
Forget all other weather apps
This is the only accurate one because it amalgamates all the others’ data sources. It’s superb
This app used to be really good
No response to questions asked and the weather map for Cornwall in the UK is showing daytime temperatures of 14C and overnight temperatures of 20C!
I would give this app 5 stars if….
Used to love it but now only 4 stars because it isn’t displaying correctly on my IPhone 13.
This is not an upgrade, it’s a degrade
The new layout is just confusing. Worst part is there no longer seems to be the possibility of seeing a map showing where in the country identically named places are located.
Nice
Tempting, but the wind arrows are too heavy and the same color as the map features. They’re highly distracting and make it difficult to read the maps.

I’ve got three different weather apps on my phone this is by far the most accurate, plus I have access the live camera in most places .. great app

The new update is just made it useless app , I been a fan of meteoblue for years , but I can’t understand the weather on the new update anymore . Please revert back or change it back to something more user friendly .
Pretty good…
… but there are no weather fronts shown on the surface pressure maps. Great to have them, unlike other apps, but missing this key feature.
Latest v2.0.2
Used to like Meteoblue up til this update. It’s now gone pale, unnecessarily large icons and text which don’t fit the screen properly. Pretty grim unfortunately. How do I get back to the nice v1.18? And stay on it?
My GoTo solution for European weather
Unimpressed with the update. I use an iPad in landscape. That possibility seems to have escaped the developers. The older version on my Android phone just seems much better. Much easier to understand the risk associated with the pictogram forecast. I trust this App. If the weather is changeable, then inevitably inaccuracies can creep in, but generally, what you see, is close to what you will get. Looking at the Radar is a pretty good prediction of what time rainfall will actually arrive or clear. The advertising is not intrusive.
The most accurate forecasts
I was recommended this app by someone when I was touring in Europe two years ago and found it to be so accurate. I now use it as my main weather app it’s so much more accurate than others.
So disappointed
I’m so disappointed with the new update. I had found this app very user friendly and previous updates just made it easier and easier to use but the current overhaul now means it’s a totally different app and very hard to read and understand. I’m also very disappointed that the webcams are no longer available to see the weather in real time. I will be moving to a new app like Windy now.

A super app, though now when I click on my satellite widget on my Home Screen it opens the radar. Please can this be changed back.

Used to love this app - unusable now
The new update has completley broken the app for me you can’t scroll or click on any days. What a shame I hope they revert to the previous version.
Poor update.
Terrible update to the app. Prior to update the app was great. Now you can’t view all the details at a glance, as you could previously. Why change something that was perfectly good? Won’t be renewing subscription.
Fresh new look
What a shame that the “freshen new look” wastes so much display space on iPad in landscape orientation. Used to show much more information using most of the available display space, but now looks like simple iPhone port centred in the middle of the screen with more display space wasted rather than used.
Missing 12hr option
Although it appears to have very accurate information, it's missing a fundamental feature in that the time can't be changed from 24-hr to 12-hr format.

Poor experience
Ads that you have to clear have started appearing in a foreign language, so you can’t easily clear them and access the app. How stupid. New layout loads active maps to the default view, which may or may not be why the whole interface keeps freezing, so I also can’t see the hourly view now. Can see that lots of recent reviews have mentioned the freezing and yet nothing has been done, so goodbye meteoblue.

Accurate forecasts but poor v2 interface
I’ve been an avid user of meteoblue for a number of years and loved it, it provided accurate forecasts in a clear and concise interface. That all changed with the recent update to v2 which despite being labelled a ‘beta’ version, offers no facility to revert to the fully operable classic version. I don’t recall volunteering to pay to be a beta tester, so not a great move in the customer service context. If the option to return to the classic look doesn’t appear then I’ll be moving to a new app, albeit reluctantly.
Older version
Older version is better this new version is making the app slow laggy i cant swip up or down it lags. To many ads probably . If planning on me payin for this app at some point u can forget it. Right now if u can fix the bugs i can upgrade your review.
Best app to see rain amounts
love that u can easily see how much rain is forecasted and bot just the probability of rain. also so far very accurate
Latest update makes it unusable…
The was my most used weather app but the latest update, while looking nice, is incredibly frustrating to use. It freezes up every few seconds so you can’t scroll or tap something. It makes navigating around the app horrible. I hope they fix soon or I’ll be deleting it and cancelling my sub.
Solid App!
Definitely top of the weather app pile. I really like the integration of webcams. GFX a little difficult to read on a small device but all in all, very good.
