Modern up-to-date
I’ve tried more weather apps than I can count Storm Weather app is the first Weather app that has utilized AI with a modern look. Even some of the best weather apps that I have used are looking really dated now. Storm isn’t perfect. But I’m enjoying a much more modern look and feel. Carrot weather has some work to do.
Return old app!
I used this app before the change. Now it's just terrible. I canceled my subscription.

The updated Premium version is really informative, and easy to customize. Living in South FL and relying on radar 60 miles away, in Melbourne, is fraught with inaccuracies when it comes to rain forecast most of the time. TV news/weather sources south of us…leave a lot to be desired. I love this app with all the great info provided along with the map. Having a “feels like” temp is hard to find much anywhere, too. I use a ton of weather apps…am a NWS volunteer. I prefer to have as much timely, accurate info as possible to give me a full picture of the weather at any point in time. Particularly important in hurricane season! And as an avid, busy gardener, I rely on this to know how to proceed, too. Only glitch in new Premium version when checking weather in the hours ahead, it keeps stopping just a couple of hours out instead (like standard version). I have to delete app and re-load it. Has happened several times.
The new upgrade is a downgrade
I’ve paid for this app for years. I cancelled my subscription. It’s not user friendly anymore and forget looking at other locations. You click on it and it gives you a giant box of info that overlays the map. The second you close it, it zooms back to your current location. I gave up and cancelled my subscription.
Sell the app
I’d gladly pay to buy the app, but a subscription is a hard no. That said, the pop ups selling the subscription are brutal to the point of making it unusable.

Need to know the weather fast? Don’t open this app. Start screen is an upgraded ad. Then if you dare touch the radar you get another upgrade ad. Now you are paywalling with annoyance. So I will just delete this app and use the base weather app.

I’m a young meteorologist who loves tornadoes and this is very good at doing what it’s supposed to do. I don’t have enough money to buy the premium or whatever but I still love it.

The radar is currently not available and is not working!
Love the app but…
The new look is cool but seams to do to much from to many places. Get rid of all the options and boxes on the screen. Put them i. A menu off screen. Keep the data but ditch the clutter.

Used to be great, now annoying
I have used this app for a long time; it is my go-to for quality and accurate radar. The maps look great, simple layout and navigation. The recent series of updates makes it near impossible to use the slider in the timeline. This used to be one of the best features: grab the slider and be in full control to walk through the storm trajectory. NOW: you get a tiny little portion of the slider to use, barely a finger width, before you land in the 5-day forecast that prompts a FULL screen add nagging you to buy the subscription. Annoying. I dont need 5 days of radar....I need the recent history and near-term forecast, and I need that available in the slider...Not your ad trickery

Keeps me informed and gives me time to get ready at the farm and at the house in town.

The new format is cumbersome at best. Almost useless. No scale on the Y- axis for % precipitation. Hard to read days. The radar time slider has no "now" option and is impossible to control. In summary, it sucks!
Lag time between radar and real life weather conditions
I agree the app is a bit too busy now and I’m often getting pop ups to other locations when I accidentally touch the screen. What I’ve really been noticing is the lag between what the current radar shows (and the screen has the exact time on it) and what current conditions really are. For instance, a few minutes ago, radar showed nothing over where I live. But it had just started raining hard. The same thing happened last week during severe weather, too. The data showing up on the app is starting to be questionable.
Latest version is not the greatest

Not showing storms that are currently happening
I’m not sure why I pay for this app. It is currently storming at my house, but the “Storm radar” doesn’t show anything happening. This isn’t the first time this has happened. Very disappointing
Needs a “”Now” button
I generally like the app in it’s new form. I use the future animation frequently to get a rough idea of what the weather might do. I wish there was a button that could snap the loop back to “Now” on the timeline. The slider is very sensitive and I can never get it parked back on Now when I want it.
New version is not all that great.
The new version is just too cluttered with too many options. Old version was simple and yet told you everything you needed to know. Pro version nag screen is just too excessive.
Accurate weather info
This was my original review:Always bang on. Wouldn’t be without it! Thanks 👍 So very disappointed with the new version and definitely not as accurate as it used to be. Sadly, I’ll be cancelling my long time subscription and looking for a different one. Why does everything need to be changed when it’s already working well!

The old version was better, the latest version forces “future radar” on you without any way to turn it off (I just want to see the CURRENT radar!, and the “upgrade to the pro version” nag screen comes up endlessly. Please revert!

Worthless App Now
This use to be a good app, but with all of the resent changes, it has become too cumbersome. I tried to hold out and just about the time i started figuring the where everything was, they changed it again. I just canceled my subscription.
A great program but I liked the old one better!
Unfortunately I do not like this huge version they have created. Too much timeline for a quick look at what’s going on. Sorry it’s my personal opinion.
Terrible update
The newest update has totally changed the look and I find it incredibly unreadable. After 8 years I’m going to find myself a new weather app to use.
Vieille version
L'ancienne version de l'app était plus facile à lire, plus claire. L'information était plus visible et plus lisible. En un seul coup d'oeil , on voyait tout, maintenant il faut chercher et tout est plus petit. L'ancienne était plus user friendly. Ça fait plus de 5 ans que j'utilisais Storm et je l'adorais, maintenant je pense changer d'app meteo.

Used to be great
Cancelled my renewal for this app because of how awful it has gotten. The interface is way too busy now and I don’t need AI help. This used to be my go to app for weather but now I just get frustrated whenever I use it.

I use this app all the time, very accurate and the nw version is user friendly but needs some getting used to. You’ve almost made it too smart as the info available is sometimes too much Good job on the rebuild though
Not happy

Dopo aver letto le recensioni (probabilmente di amici e parenti) ho scaricato l’app. In 3 giorni ho ricevuto 18 mila notifiche. Allerte gravi a destra e sinistra. Morale: 2 gocce d’acqua. Va bene tutto, va bene che le previsioni siano approssimative e tutte le altre scuse, ma a inondare di un telefono di notifiche quando in realtà non succede nulla si perde credibilità ! E l’app diventa inutile . Ottimo lavoro 👍🏼, ah metto la tre stelle perché ho notato che con meno di tre le recensioni non vengono pubblicate .
Accurate forecast

Time bar
Time bar at bottom fails to appear for the most part. I keep having to delete the app and re-upload it to get back to original settings. Sometimes when I do have the time bar it will play forward but nothing changes on the map. For instance we have a tropical storm that will hit us tomorrow, but nothing, no clouds etc. are seen on the map.

Storm radar needs too much bandwidth and does not give cloud coverage
No longer updating daily/hourly
I used to absolutely love this app, had it for years. Could used to see everything. A few years ago, features started getting locked behind a paywall, even though I’ve had this for several years. I stuck with it, as I liked the radar. However, now features are not updating. Can’t see future days / hours ahead on daily forecast and it doesn’t change the forecast for days, and so these stats don’t even match what the radar is currently showing. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled and same thing keeps happening, so I’ve now moved onto another App. Disappointed in what used to be a brilliant and accurate radar.
