Wish we used this sooner.
App is very user friendly and adding money is so simple and in real time using a debit card. Also 5% cash back on the great H-E-B products my family already buys is icing on the cake. Thank you H-E-B for another amazing product!
Frequent account blocks
I love HEB. But this card is managed by Netspend. And it is super sensitive so that every time I try to transfer money to it so that I can buy groceries I have to call Netspend to get the account unlocked. I have a side gig that I also use this card for direct deposit so it’s very scary when they lock you out for no reason. The cash back is nice but it’s my recommendation that people only add the amount they are going to spend at HEB and to not put any more of your money on it than you need to buy your groceries. Don’t use it for direct deposit because you risk losing your money.
Frustrated
The card is great, but the app, not so much. I struggle to add funds with my debit card every time. I finally resorted to using the website. The app won’t allow me to add money to my card. Very frustrating.

Can’t add funds
I want to use this debit account so badly so I can utilize the 5% cash back and be able to set aside money for groceries, but unfortunately I’ve never successfully added funds. Over the course of months I’ve deleted and reinstalled the app and removed my payment method and re-added it several times.
Transfer Option not working
Basically this app is only good for checking your balance. Transfer worked the first few times and completely stopped working after. Get stuck in the confirmation popup that is blank.

App has potential to be good but isn’t. HEB makes too much money for this app not to work properly most of the time. It either doesn’t open or is down in general most of the time. When it works, it’s cool but most of the time it doesn’t work…do better

No more instant debit transfers
So disappointed in the change to the instant transfers from debit card to debit card. Idk why they took that option out. It’s not like they’re losing money with the amount of instant fees they charge. It If I don’t see this function return, it’s no point in keeping my direct deposit to HEB.

The worst customer service
I love heb that being said this card is a nightmare for me. I can’t get ahold of a human most of the time because they hang up on me if the automated system doesn’t first. When I was able to though the once they claimed to fix my issue but never did. Horrible experience please switch to someone else.
Money transfer
I dislike that the feature for transferring money from accounts seems to be disabled or not working at all. One of the things I loved most about the card. Hopefully they will make the option available again soon.

Was great until it wasn’t
I’ve been using the H-E-B debit card for three years now and love the cashback that it gives because I tend to buy H-E-B products anyway since I used to be a partner there. However, for the past month, I have made quite a few big purchases for holiday shopping and my son‘s first birthday and have missed out on big cashback savings because the ability to add funds to the card just stopped working for me. I’ve tried contacting support and they’ve just told me what the app already told me. That my app may not be fully updated, but I have already tried deleting and redownloading but nothing has allowed me to add funds to my debit card. Even tried ordering a new card and the same error STILL pops up. This app is now useless to me.
Can no longer transfer funds through the app
I do appreciate the card and have been using for well over a year. The app is very frustrating. The app no longer allows a debit card transfer (it just times out). And it does not allow a bank transfer. For example, if I have $1.24 left on the card, it notes I can only transfer $1.24 from my bank, but it will not allow transfer amounts under $10. So I have to go wait in the customer service line every time I want to transfer money to the card. Customer service does not speak English as a first language so don’t even try.
Transfers not going through
I like that I get money back with almost every purchase at HEB, but transferring money through the app is frustrating when it keeps giving an error message. It shows I can transfer $500 and when I try that amount I get an error. Then I try $400. Same error message. $300 same error message. I’ve found that only a smaller amount like $200 will go through. Why????? It’s so inconvenient to have to go Customer Service to deposit because the lines are ridiculously loooooong!!! And there are no app updates available. Is anyone else experiencing this issue?
Disappointed
I called customer service twice now because I can’t transfer money over to the card. I’ve been told to update the new version but nowhere on the app does it give me the option to update. So, I’ve been stuck not able to use my card for months now, and lost many opportunities to save!

The HEB debit card is easy to use. Transfer money within minutes.

Pointless to use the app when you try to transfer money it just stays stuck on the processing screen so you pretty much can’t use the card

I’ve had my H‑E‑B debt card for 4 years now and I love it only concern I have and confused part is the cash back rewards only one store in San Antonio has redeemed my cash back the other stores are clueless even the managers are clueless other then that love my H-E-B oh one more thing wish y’all took United healthcare I have to go to Walmart uuuuhhhhhggggggg Not a big fan of Wally World my prescription go to HEB but go to Walmart on my United healthcare otc card 😔 all the cashier are friendly managers love love H‑E‑B

All of a sudden it will not let me make debit card transfers. Says I need to update app but the app is up to date.
MY HEB
Love MY HEB every thing about is the best. HEB is the best I have had only a few troubled times with the app. As far as trying to transfer from my personal bank to HEB debit. Not sure what the issue Is there. It just gets stuck on a load screen. Other than that everything is great.
Don’t do it
It was great until I got hacked and whoever stole my cash from my card. Been a month now and still waiting on my dispute to be resolved. Not worth the “savings”. Hope it gets resolved soon- over $300 in grocery money gone in a blink!
