Ripoff Off and stole my money
They locked my account, after I sent money to a business. $150 to be exact. I call to try to get a new card, and they won’t allow me to order a new card. I am glad this company is dying in June. I gave them my social first name last name, and My phone number, but that was not enough. They are disorganized and a complete Cluster F….. This company has become complete trash.

You were not perfect but you were good for what I needed. It was hard to find ppl who accepted AmEx but it was nice while it lasted. I joined in 2014 and then got the news in 2025 about them shutting down the program.
needs work
the first complaint i have is that the details of the card is nowhere to be found on the app. my second issue I never got the replacement card i ordered and i cant order another one. i cant use the one i had before because i lost that one. i find it an issue because i don’t have neither cards nor can i use any of them because i don’t have them and the card i ordered needs to be activated. I can’t activate it without the details of the card😐

No chip on the debit card and I can’t take money of our the atm, always saids card no readable

The app hasn't been working for weeks now it keeps saying technical issues I can't mobile deposit my check or anything and there's no option to activate my card in the app
VoiceOver accessibility
Hi, I am a totally blind iPhone user. I used to use the Bluebird app, without any issues, holding an older iPhone I have. It was an iPhone 7. When I upgraded to my 16 E, Bluebird is not accessible, while using voiceover. The only thing that I can’t access, as far as I know, is the balance button. When I try to click it, it doesn’t go to the balance screen. So therefore, I can’t use VoiceOver on that app. I am not able to read my balance. The only way I can find out what my balance is, is to text, Bluebird with the balance command. Please make this accessible. Thanks.
Money in but not out
As they are closing down Bluebird they are doing their best to slow you down so they can make enough money with yours!
Terrible customer service
The American Express Bluebird debit card has some of the most ineffective customer support I’ve ever experienced. Killed off most of their customers so they are closing all accounts summer of 2026.

I am so upset that Bluebird is going away. I’ve had this card for a lot of years and it’s been so convenient so helpful so easy to use I ended up getting one for my three children and my four grandchildren .and now I’m at a loss as to how to replace it. I am missing bluebird already..😫😩🥲

I really wanna miss this app. It really helped me through my travels many days and also very good controlling finances. When I went on any of my trips, I bluebird all the time. I really will miss you. I don’t think there is another App out here. Thank you for a great years.
