I’ve been a loyal member of the Credit Union for over 34 years, but over the past few years I’ve become increasingly disappointed with the direction things have gone. The cost of maintaining my accounts has become excessive. Between overdraft fees, monthly service fees, annual fees, and other checking account charges, I’m paying what amounts to thousands of dollars just to keep my accounts open and active. It no longer feels like the Credit Union values long-time members. Unfortunately, customer service has also declined significantly. It has become very difficult to speak with someone who has the time or authority to help resolve concerns, leaving members feeling unheard and unsupported. As a working individual, I expect fair service and reasonable fees from a financial institution I’ve trusted for decades. Instead, I’m now seriously considering moving my checking and savings accounts elsewhere. I never expected to feel this way after more than three decades as a member, but I believe the Credit Union needs to take a hard look at how it is treating its long-time members. I’m very disappointed with my overall experience.

I like the appearance of the app and all the services that are available on the app. I like the ability to pay bills and deposit checks. Very handy and easy
In need of an upgrade
App could use some updating. Not entirely user friendly, especially to pay my car note. Would like to see some more modern integrations as it is now quite outdated.
Phone number not working
The app is great and really convenient when it works, I’ve not really had issues before. Recently I had to get a new phone but I kept my number. When I re-download the app and tried to login and go through security steps the mobile app double dials the country code on my number making useless and unable to reach me, this doesn’t happen with the web-based website though

Don’t use HEBFCU
HEBFU is probably one of the worst banks ive ever used. Their answer to every problem is freezing your account. I will be changing banks from them. This app is supposed to be helpful and it just caused them to freeze my account on a friday night saying they wont have a representative to unfreeze my account til monday morning. I work at a job 8-5:30 where i cannot use my phone and they are very strict. All of this is absolutely crap. All because of heb’s crap policies. Do not bank with heb and do not use this app. This app froze my account for no reason and the bank is prolonging it. My hard earned money isn’t accessible and idk when I’ll be able to access it again.

Worst banking app ever
Don’t have Zelle yet. Difficult to update profile info. Bill pay is a horrible experience. UI is from 2008.

App load times not very good Friday-Sunday no description of purchases They don’t know much about zelle I have a problem as I changed my number and the app wants to text my old number to verify, called for help which you can never get the same day or on weekends and got an it’s new I’ll call you back with an answer that I never got. I’m still waiting by the way!The answering service is useless they can’t help you with a lot of issues. I only continue to endure them because I’m too lazy to go somewhere else and set up a new account. But that day is surely coming! The only benefit I see is if you need your mo eu faster, you usually get your check deposited Wednesday evenings. Save yourself a headache bank somewhere else.

Transactions dont post on weekends!!!
HEBFCU app horrible, Friday afternoon all the way til Monday morning no transactions will show up so you don’t know how much you are spending until Monday afternoon when all the transactions kick in.
