Best game out there!
I have been adventure escape games from Haiku for probably a decade at this point and have never stopped since! They truly make one of a kind games that are both challenging and fun, but well articulated in plot characters! I’m so glad they made an app with all of their games in one place and how often they upload new stories! Love these games and this company so so much, they have gotten me through the years!

Long time Haiku Adventure fan. I've never minded weird plotholes or strange logic before now - it's been based in fantasy and silly good fun. The NCIS game has changed my mind. Can't wait until you've got more games out so I can wipe the bad taste of this one out of my mouth.

Okay so changing my review because while I don’t mind spending money, I bought VIP for a game and it said by buying VIP you could get hints and it’s not happening, still making me watch videos. If I’m paying for the game I shouldn’t have to also watch the videos. Help.

Too much ads
Watching ads for extra keys to unlock the stories/chapters is fine, but why do we have to watch ads when we are using our keys? Kind of defeats the point of having keys if I still need to watch a pointless ad when using them.

I’m annoyed that if I get out of the game in the middle of a chapter (and some puzzles) and have to leave the game I have to start the chapter from the beginning again! Annoying 😡😡😡

Absolutely amazing game
I absolutely loved this app I downloaded it for the Ncis story and i absolutely adore it and was wondering if you could do another Ncis story
No game content - just ads
This used to be OKish, with the usual trade off of watching ads for play, but this is no longer the case. Now, it just plays ads incessantly, and no longer has any game content. As a test, I let it run for nearly thirty minutes, and it showed ad after ad after ad, with no way of closing them. Furthermore, the ads shown include child-unfriendly ads, which means that this is now a front, apparently, for trying to tempt kids into giving up cash. Should be banned from the app store.
Add cluedo back please
When I first started playing this it had cluedo as one of the puzzles and i love this game but I rlly want cluedo added back cause it was so fun
Latest release is a disappointment
I have no issue with them tackling darker topics but the NCIS episode was just straight up American military propaganda complete with middle eastern terrorists and a lesson of “the status quo of war and death is fine and any attempt to change it is clearly the work of the deranged.” The plot was weak too but that’s not my main issue here. I usually love these games, but I’m hoping for less propaganda moving forward

I love this game but
I have played every level on this game and enjoyed them. However with all the love and care the previous level Have, the NCIS using AI images is rather meh. Part of the game I liked was the art design
Dissappointing
Disappointing TV show tie-in with NCIS. A terrorist attacking the US? Of course they are from the middle-east… The story was derivative, the cliches were tired, and the stereotypes over-worked. I’ve enjoyed the games over a number of years, and have paid for early access/VIP games, but this one was disappointing. Not sure if I’ll be paying for any more.

Started the game and first puzzle there’s a potion I need to make requiring me to use a blue liquid 3x but it only allows two uses and you can’t progress without the potion
Cool games, lots of fun.
Nice little puzzle game, plenty of variety, keeps you interested. Disappointed they haven’t started using the VIP pay to play system though.
Glitch
I got to the point where I’m supposed to open the gate with the combination lock. But the combination lock doesn’t work. I even looked at a walk-through and did exactly the same and it’s still doesn’t work. So I deleted the app.
Adds not working
Lately the watch an add for a hint feature has been taking you only to screens that say reward grated but nothing happens. There is nowhere to click except to the App Store and the only way to get back to the game is to quit it and start again. Of course, then the option to get the watch for hunt is gone and you didn’t get the hint.
Love
I have been playing this game on and off for three years. In that time when I have played all the levels and want more I am never able to find a game quite like this one. It’s fun and challenging, great to play with friends if you put it on the tv.
Annoying
You add pop up ads to your game which is fine. What game doesn’t have ads these days but then you don’t have an exit x on the ads so you’re just stuck there. If you try to exit the game you’re forced to watch an ad again and the same problem happens. Don’t waste your time on an unplayable game
Love!
I love most the games. I just wish the newer games had more chapters and a bit more advanced. Some that show to be advance are rather too easy. Since we have to wait awhile before getting a new game, you’d think there would be more chapters so it takes longer to finish but overall, I still enjoy it.
It Came From Above Chapter 7
I was enjoying It Came From Above until the end of Chapter 7 where you input the symbols for A,B,D to open the spaceship. It will not open! I even used stars to find the solution and verify my answers. They are all correct but it will not sow Puzzle Complete and allow me to move on. Disappointing so close to the end of the game!

I’m a big fan of this game. I’ve had it for around 6 or so years, beaten all of the free levels, watched so many ads for keys, and have overall enjoyed my time playing. The only thing I wish that was different was that you can only buy the VIP special “chapters” in bundles with the game it’s paired to. Like I’ve said, I have beaten all of the free stuff. I don’t feel like spending $8 for one VIP bundle of a game I’ve completed. I saw the death dodgers VIP chapter had a deal on just the VIP chapter and I took it. They should really run more deals like this, it’s better for the people who have already completed some of the games.
Unplayable
This app was highly recommended to me. I’d love to play it. Sadly the ads make it unplayable. I don’t mind watching ads. I understand this is how the developers earns revenue. But they are incessant and impossible to escape to actually get to the games. Until and unless this is fixed, this game is completely pointless.

I love this game but when the Ads come up they stay on the screen even after 5 minutes! All I want to do is play the game and not watch ads all day
Loved it but now disappointing
I wait each time for the new games but the puzzles are so easy you spend more time waiting for keys than playing. The new Kate game released was eagerly anticipated but a let down to play. Puzzles far too simple and similar to past puzzles. Takes so long to get a new game and they finally release extra chapters they want you to pay £9 a time for. It would be ok if you pay once and get them all but not each time, that’s not VIP. Overall we need more games, harder puzzles and one VIP cost for everything.

Let me start off by stating how much I LOVE this game I’ve been playing over and over for years now and I LOVE NCIS I LOVE HOW YALL BROUGHT THAT ASPECT TO THE GAME, the quality, the Uniqueness, the puzzles, i can go on and on BUT to the developers of this game can yall start making longer chapters again like a good 8/9 , i be waiting months for a new game update and it only be 6 now 😭 we be wanting MOREEEE ! No other game is like this one, others try and copy but it’s just not the same.

Glitch?
Enjoy the games and have for some time. Recently I’ve noticed that I have to exit the game or restart the app more if a puzzle I’ve solved correctly won’t accept the solution. I’ve just spent 25 stars on a puzzle that wasn’t necessary because there was a glitch. I have no problem spending stars on puzzles I’m stuck on but to have this happen on 2 separate occasions isn’t making me want to continue playing. Already annoyed at the 2 keys per 6 hours, all the scam ads and the addition of vip games. Really hope this is looked into

Doesnt work
Just downloaded the game and im finding items but not able to use them. They dont highlight or anything. I have the rune block but it wont press to add it to the puzzle. It’s a shame… deleting.
Great Game
These games are SO fun. They’re challenging, the mini games are fun, and it’s just hard enough to keep me interested. Just wish I could pay for VIP access for the whole game, not just specific bundles, I’ll never pay $10 for just one story

Great game, but only having two keys every six hours really causes it to lose its fun element. I have bought keys but some levels don’t even last long so not worth the money. Could give a few more free keys per day..
Detective Kate for life
This is by far the best escape room game I’ve ever played. So many options and levels. The games are the right level of challenging and the stories are so good. Lots of free play, ads aren’t too annoying, and the stars/keys purchases are reasonable and a good value. There is consistently new content and there are so many boards/stories, it never feels boring. They also don’t insert other non escape room content. I highly recommend this app to escape room lovers out there.

This game is garbage.
Great but expensive
I finished all of the free levels (for which you have to wait for keys to play), and figured I would buy vip to play the rest. The thing is, you can’t just buy vip, you have to buy $8 vip packs that include only one or two locked levels and multiple of free levels!
Poor updates
New game has glitches - heat gun doesn’t work so can’t proceed. So frustrating!!
Great games - ridiculous ads!!
Love all of these games but …. The way the ads are forced on players is really ridiculous; annoying, relentless & very irritating! Heres a suggestion - when an ad plays, we can see what its advertising - if a player clicks on the x, that means he has finished with the ad, it does not mean he wants the ad to go into hyperdrive, repeating itself four times!!! This will really put players off watching a video - just a thought!
