App works when it wants
This app works when it wants to. It’s really inconvenient when I’m out trying to check my balance and it’s not working. Worst banking app so far.

Purchase history
So it’s been working right? However I’m starting to see an issue within the account history and it’s having a longer time counting the times I’ve made a purchase which is worrying because the amount never updates. So how am I going to check how much I have if I don’t know how much it has because of this strange delay. Please fix this!
App crashes when using Zelle
Maybe it’s my phone but the app constantly crashes when trying to use Zelle. I have accounts at another institution and do not experience this issue.

I wrote out what it told me to write and it still says they couldn’t read the check. I cleaned my phone and everything and still nothing.

The function deposit by camera doesn’t work. Critical feature.
Incorrect time or date
Until recently the mobile app has worked well, but a few weeks ago it stopped allowing me access claiming my time and/or date was incorrect. This is wrong I use a iPhone 11 and it sets the correct time and date. I’ve deleted the app and reinstalled the app, restarted my phone to no avail. This is the only way I’ve found to be heard concerning this problem.

This app was recently updated and now when you open the app you are taken to a page that asks “Sign Up” or “Log In”… which is an annoying extra step. I have the app on my phone, don’t you think I already have an account? The app should default to the login page. Just like how it used to be.

Mobile Check Deposit No Longer Works
After updating my iPhone 12 Pro to iOS 16 (16.0.2) the mobile check deposit feature no longer works. When you click to take a photo of a check, the app asks you to rotate your phone, while showing you a blurred camera view. You have to force quit the app to get out of that mode.

This app/bank is terrible you have a limit to send through Zelle (2k).Not only that When sending money through Zelle it takes 3 DAYS to send to the person which is annoying AND also takes a long time for Zelle money to be sent to you,other banks send it on the spot.0/10 bank don’t open a bank account unless your desperate to get one.

Everything is good but with this update, on my iPhone 12 pro, I can’t deposit my checks. It says “rotate phone to deposit check” and doesn’t go away. I really need this fixed asap

The app is okay but, the way it interacts with Zelle is just stupid. Just make the bank searchable in Zelles app. Why make us leave Zelle to come to our banking app that is inconvenient at best? It doesn’t even sync our contacts. You have to input every contact manually as you send money for the first time. Terrible idea. At least in my opinion

Zelle causes app to crash
Zelle via app on Rize mobile, causes a crash. Rize online bankers say it’s not happening to others. But I beg to differ

In app chat support blocks access to app - not a very refined user experience
I’m chatting through the app which I’m logged into.. makes no sense you ask for a member number.. A) you should know it already since I contacted via the app B) I can’t get to my member number because this chat screen is blocking my access to view my account info.. if you’re gonna do a web based unsecured chat from the app, it would make sense for it to open in a separate webapp based page so I can still look at my account while chatting.. (please forward these notes to the feedback or app development team::)

I love the app... it makes my banking needs so much easier.. very convenient.. can follow all transactions instantly.
Zelle is not same day
This is the only account I own that doesn’t send Zelle same day. It’s annoying.

App is overall very responsive and provides access to a ton of resources. I don’t remember the last time I had to come into a branch for anything.
Terrible
SCE FCU app needs some serious reconsiderations. There shouldn’t be a reason why a member should feel handicapped when using their mobile app. I have more than 5 months with mobile deposit issues and no one can fix the issues. Seems like my member worries don’t matter.

You can’t deposit cash and if you did want to you have to go to one of their banking
