Great App
Easy to text teachers and send photos
Horrible photo uploading capability
Spent over an hour trying to upload photos for my daughters show and tell only for it not to load.
Dark mode App icon would be great
The app is great, but when using Dark Mode on my phone it is the only white app icon
Lacking in basic functionality
The app is okay and serves its purpose, however basic functionality like the ability to save images to my device is missing. There are lovely photos of my child that his teachers post and I have no way to save these memories. My workaround was to screenshot the images in my phone but recently they disabled this so now all the screenshots appear black - why?!!
Possible upgrade
It would be nice if the parents could make a post a tag the kids in their class to be able to reach out to the parents. Eg: something went missing and I would like to ask the parents if they accidentally took it home. A post with their kids name tag would make life really easy!
Love it
I absolutely love this app. I love the updates & being able to check what my daughter has eaten during the day & slept
Clink UI and missing features
Had to switch from Lilio to StoryPark today and what a downgrade. Clunky UI, poorly organized homepage, can’t enable notifications for the “routines” section and can’t take a screenshot for quick edit/clipboard since the mobile app is blocking it. Who is that feature even for? I’m logged in as an authenticated user, why can’t a take a screenshot of my child’s photo? Lots of room for improvement in this already 10 year old application.
Days count back to bday
Hi team, Not sure if this is the place to send feedback. When dragging the family page down. It shows the days counted back to birthday. But it counts from the last post. Is it possible to count down from TODAY?
Updates need to be corrected
This app is great unless they decide to update. It ALWAYS stops working and then they take FOREVER to fix it. this app is used as a means to contact parents and I’m not getting any of my child’s reports.
New privacy addition doesn’t make sense
While I understand the addition of the privacy feature that means if you screenshot the app it doesn’t include photos to protect kids safety. You can still just save photos normally so I’m not sure what the new functionality achieves. Otherwise i find the app easy to use.
Amazing!!!!
We honestly couldn't recommend this daycare more highly! It has truly become a home away from home for our girls. Our eldest started here years ago and has now moved on to school, and we couldn't have asked for a better start to her learning journey. She absolutely thrived, built so much confidence, and was so well prepared for school. Now our two-year-old attends, and we see that same love, care, and encouragement every single day. The educators genuinely care for each child as if they were their own, creating such a warm, nurturing, and fun environment. The communication with families is fantastic, the activities are engaging, and it's clear how much thought and effort goes into helping every child learn and grow. Knowing our daughter is happy, safe, and excited to go each day gives us complete peace of mind. We are so grateful for everything this wonderful team has done for our family over the years. Thank you for creating such a special place where children are loved, encouraged, and given the best possible start. We will always be thankful for the positive impact you've had on our girls. ❤️
Not easy to use
Stores do not display in chronological order of events. Things seem to disappear. It’s not user friendly for any functions.

Generally works well but can be convoluted at times finding stories and updates
Stories difficult to create
Really find it annoying and difficult when trying to share a story on the app about my child. You can’t write the story and view it at the same time. It glitches and you can only view so much at the time and unable to review the story
Love the updates, hate we can’t save our own children’s pics.
A wonderful way to receive daily updates from our childcare centre, and love that comments can be added. Such a shame and a pain that images cannot be saved from the app, these are childhood memories that parents and families miss out on during the day - so having a way to save them is important. The fact you can do it via the web but not the app is really inconvenient.

Worst App Ever
This app is TERRIBLE! If you have ever used an app before, you will not be able to figure this one out. Every single function is the opposite of where it would be intuitively and after months of using it, I would say it successfully accomplishes what you are trying to do 20% of the time. Notifications do not come through, messages do not post (there isn’t even a section for messages actually, you have to send them in the “community”. I would pay to use another app rather than use this one for free.

Ignores notification settings
Please fix the notification settings. I’ve unsubscribe from everything but I keep receiving notification emails. We went through this two years ago and now something has changed, and back to square one.
Best app for staying connected with your child’s day
I absolutely love this app! As a parent, it gives me so much comfort being able to see what my children are doing throughout the day while they’re at childcare/kindy. The updates, photos and daily notes make me feel involved even when I can’t be there. It’s also such an easy way for teachers to keep families informed with reminders about events like photo days, dress-up days and other important updates. The communication is seamless and reassuring!🤍
They stopped me to save my child’s photos.
I am not happy that they don’t even allow me to screenshot my children’s photos. The main reason I’m using this app is to save my child’s photos but now they are just blocking it without parent’ consent.

Nearly useless
Plans show up as a blank grid - no text or pictures are visible when you open them.
It’s not bad, but…
Pretty straightforward user interface. Easy to find what the teachers write about the kids. BUT one pain point… the stories are NOT in chronological order under the education tab. And there’s no way to sort it. It makes it hard to find the post we want.

App was good now it’s not
After the last update I cannot save photos of just my children and capture the milestones the reach which is very upsetting as my husband works away and screenshots were the only way for him to see how there days went. This should be changed to blurring out children that aren’t yours with the use of ai
Good. But plenty of improvement needed.
There are so many good things about this app. But from an improvement perspective here are things to consider: 1) Ability to save photos from within the comments of a story. (And videos!). This still needs to be addressed. 2) Ability to search in the Education tab - by key word or by posting date range. Please!!!! 3) Ability to turn notifications off for particular stories. 4) Ability to tag people (educators) in the comments to stories/posts.

IA is messy, and you can’t even download images from chat
Speaking of chat, the way to message an educator is under the community tab, which is so dumb. I found this out until my child is graduated from his first day care. Genius design.
A grand parents perspective
We have loved sharing our grandchildren’s journey of learning and socialising. This would have been possible without the input and support of so so many Bright Beginnings educators- Pia, Serena, Ayesha, Jack, Paige, Anna plus all the other amazing staff
Email frequency settings don’t work
I’m getting 20-30 emails a day from Storypark from my kids school. Have gone to settings to change the email frequency but it doesn’t work. Please can you sort out as it is spamming my inbox and will have to delete

Have you heard about drafts
There are so many issues with this app, who has time to do their testing, they obviously don’t. When I am writing a direct message to a team member/carer and, close to the end–after writing, checking my grammar, modulate my temper, I recall that I also needed to add another recipient, if I go back to search for the carer I wanted to add, whoosh, my whole message is gone, oh can’t express the frustration this causes. I have stopped using this app to communicate concerns to the carers.
Don’t get notifications anymore
For some strange reason notifications on my iPhone don’t come up in settings, I’ve tried to turn them on but there’s no button there anymore to turn the notifications on
Improve Photo Saving Feature
This app is a great way for educators to share children’s daily learning experiences with parents. I really enjoy seeing photos of my child and saving them, but the current limitation of saving only one photo at a time is inconvenient. Adding an option to select and download multiple photos at once would make the app even better. I hope this feature can be included in a future update.
Love the daily news
I look forward to seeing Ava’s and Abby’s, daily adventures via StoryPark. They get to do many different things each time they go and have lots of friends around them. It’s great seeing there confidence building. Louise (Nannie)
Poor slow service for high priority issues
Several children are not linked on the services on the app and we have been waiting since Friday when it was first reported by Bossy boots. Very disappointing. My child is Liam craven. I cannot receive any notifications about his important naptime or whether he even got a nap or any other important health concerns. Very poor low level service unfortunately.
Works really well when you get the hang
Great tool for comms and sharing between home and daycare. I’m still figuring out all the strands & where to find what I’m looking for - could definitely be more intuitive in that way. Also am always accidentally pressing the heart button that tells me who has “loved” the story, when I want to “love” the story myself. Feel like these could be easy fixes but Storypark hasn’t made them happen yet.
Great platform overall, needs low res thumbnails
This is a great platform to allow schools and families to connect. However looking through pictures from a child’s class is cumbersome. There should be. A thumbnail overview screen with the ability to click on any picture. Having to scroll through pictures sequentially is slow and dissuades me from trying to do so. I have an iPhone 13 and 200Mbps Internet service, so slowness and delays in loading are not on my end. Thank you for making this platform! And please give us thumbnail overview for pics. : )
Appreciation
As a grandparent living on the Gold Coast I love the daily updates on what my grandson is up to. It’s an absolute joy to see how the children interact with each other and grow. Thank you so much for offering this wonderful service.
Stories published with months-long delay
I’m receiving stories about my child with a 3.5- month delay! A story appeared today (Dec 5) which was published on Aug 16 with a request I obviously couldn’t fulfil. Every story about my child gets published with a few months delay. This is absolutely unacceptable.
Community notices can be bulky
Only suggestion is for the community notices section - it seems very busy and hard to find an old notice to go back and refer to. Would be great if there was the ability to group,map or combine notices into months or types of comms. Thanks
Annoying notifications
It’s really annoying to receive notifications for every single comment people make on some things we I don’t event need to know, do not relate to my child. I should have more options to control notifications
